Friendly mid-size Supermarket with most things that most people will need. We are there on average once a day because it is close (10mins walk), they have great variety of fresh food (deli counter, fruit and veg etc), and we always seem to forget something.

Very Good Thai Restaurant with lots of fresh ingredients.
The original Thai is our favourite restaurant in Island Bay. They are not licensed but you can bring your own bottle of wine; if you mention that you are staying in Jo and Christian's AirBnB you don't have to pay the corkage fee because they like us too!
