If you are dive bar kind of person, this is your place. The music here is more on the classic country side of things, with some bluegrass in there, and sometimes classic rock. You'll find prices are more reasonable here than some of the other Broadway bars.

Looking for a sports bar? This is it, especially is you route for Green Bay. The food is great (hot chicken is good here, too!) It is smoking at night, but the deck out back remains non-smoking and they often have live music in the evenings around the weekends.

This is my favorite place to grab lunch downtown. They are more of a to-go sort of place and only have a couple tables outside, but the food is great, healthy, and reasonably priced. Just a block and a half from the honky tonks. Break away from the burger and fries! Get you some really delicious soup and sandwiches!

On the second floor they have a swanky bar area with comfy couches and chairs, and it's own menu of items, as well as an excellent sushi bar. If Nat is working, tell him I say hello, though I'm sure that he won't know who I am. Lol. The rooftop has a great view of the river, and they have varying events up there in the evenings. A great spot when the weather is gorgeous!

The Greenway runs all over Nashville, and if you were incredibly ambitious, you could walk all the way to Opryland, East Nashville, or even to Downtown. There is a place across the dam great for fishing, and another park as well that is great for just relaxing and watching the ducks and geese.

There is a place across the dam great for fishing, and another park as well that is great for just relaxing and watching the ducks and geese.
The Greenway is a trail system with several trail heads throughout the area. Google the Greenway Nashville for more detailed locations. Great for walks, may have to dismount bikes in some areas.
