This is a nice lake across the street from our apartment building. You can walk around the entire lake in 20-30 minutes. There is a walking or jogging path all the way around it, and a playground for smaller kids.

This is a nice lake across the street from our apartment building. You can walk around the entire lake in 20-30 minutes. There is a walking or jogging path all the way around it, and a playground for smaller kids.
If you follow Sjövikskajen, this leads you to a trail that goes all the way around the water of Årstaviken, then you can cross over the Skanstullsbron bridge and end up on Södermalm. Or you can continue along the water on Hammarby Slussväg, which is a great walking/jogging trail that take you all the way back to Tantolunden park and the bridge to Liljeholmen.

You can get everything you need at this shopping center, a five-minute walk from our apartment. ICA Kvantum is the biggest grocery store, Willys is smaller but cheaper, and Coop is closest.

Getting Around
Here you can catch the subway to the Old Town (about a 8-minute ride), or take a tram car or bus. The subway runs every 2-3 minutes.
