This four season home was built in 1997 and is in excellent condition. The front of the home faces the lake and includes a covered porch to enjoy the views and listen to the loons. The back of the home has property that overlooks a protected bay. Most of the rooms have water views, including an enclosed side porch with a high table and chairs. The back yard is big enough for family fun.
Trout Lake is located in a rural area almost directly between the St. Lawrence River and the "Blue Line" (boundary) of the Adirondack Park at the end of 1/2 mile long "camp" road. The location is serene and gorgeous, with a peaceful and friendly "neighborhood." The lake is 1.5 miles long and 1/3 mile wide, with several islands and bay; water quality is excellent as is the fishing.
My family and I made a weekend trip to visit my daughter who attends SUNY Canton. I couldn’t have picked a nicer place for this weekend getaway. The house is located in front of a lake and tucked away off a private road. Even with the icy lake, the scenery was beautiful and the house was lovely. It was very well maintained, clean and the kitchen was stocked up with all the essentials you might need. It is evident that a lot of love and care has gone into maintaining it. Mike is an amazing host. He was in contact with me from the day I rented the house until my departure. He provided detailed instructions for my arrival. My family and I had a wonderful time and are definitely looking forward to future stays.
Check in was very simple. Mike answered all questions very quickly and the house was absolutely perfect.
