Tiled floors, white-washed walls, terra cotta roof: classic South American home in a town of 30,000 in SW Paraguay. Quiet street except when there is a fiesta at the riverfront club a block away! Walk the Costanera along the river each morning.
The air conditioning and heat units are only in the bedrooms. There are ceiling fans throughout. There is a protected area to hang clothes to dry. A working knowledge of Spanish is recommended since the contact person there does not speak English well. There are 3 bedrooms, two with queen size beds and one with twin beds.
The home is located close to the Neembucu River and kayak rentals are available. There is a very nice walking path along the river, within a block of the home. Wi-Fi is available on this path as well as in the town square, which is a few blocks away. The neighborhood is normally very quiet. However, you might hear howler monkeys in the trees or be awakened by roosters. The parrot across the street is named Lorenzo.
I have one room with 3 single beds in Formosa downtown. Air conditioned, laundry and option for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The room has a private toilet full equiped. The house has a beautiful tropical garden with pool.
