“If you are not from Oregon or SW Washington, the name McMenamins probably doesn't mean much to you. They are a restaurant, microbrewery and a cool place all rolled into one. They specialize in restoring historic buildings and converting them to restaurants. This is a great place to get introduced to their beers and wines. Surprisingly, it is a great place for families and kids. Excellent food (not super expensive), outdoor seating (for the summer), outdoor covered heating with fireplace pits for winter and all year around in the historic building. If you can't decide on dinner, then this is the place for you. Average dish is around $10-$15. Great burgers and salads. ”
