We will bike around the East Coast of Sicily, where the ancient Greeks used to live here centuries and centuries ago! This is the main reason why this area is called "Magna Grecia", that is to say, the Italian colonies of ancient Greece. If you like outdoor sports and you want to experience the perfect weather in Sicily, come and ride! During this half-day experience, we will see together hidden gems of the area, such as a greek temple, abandoned fields, amazing beaches. (We Can arrange different hours, ask please) the ride is approximately 3 hours long, but don't be afraid of your biking level, we don't push too hard :-) Other things to note This experience depends on the weather conditions. L'esperienza si svolgerà all'interno del monumentale Parco archeologico della Neapolis di Siracusa, grandioso sito Patrimonio dell'Umanità che contiene le più importanti testimonianze classiche, greche e romane di questa millenaria città. In particolare la passeggiata snocciolerà il meraviglioso Teatro greco , la lussureggiante "Latomia del Paradiso" , il leggendario e sorprendente "Orecchio di Dionisio", il magnifico Altare sacrificale di Ierone 2°, l'Anfiteatro romano. Quindi dopo aver "assaporato" la storia , ci trasferiremo in un vicino e famoso artigiano pasticcere locale per terminare il tour con una "dolcezza" e prelibatezza tutta siciliana: i cannoli alla ricotta; preparati come vuole la tradizione. Ci ritroveremo presso l’infopoint Syracuse Excursion e da lì saliremo in barca.partendo dallo spettacolare canale di ortigia andremo a visitare l’intera costa di Siracusa da nord a sud. Le belle paesaggistiche e storiche vi lasceranno senza fiato. Cullati dalla barca e dal profumo del mare ci addentreremo tra le rocciose coste della parte nord e sud della costa di Siracusa. Immancabile ovviamente la sosta per fare un bagno nelle cristalline acque.

Costeggeremo l’isola di Ortigia ammirando il Duomo,la chiesa si Santa Lucia , Palazzo Veneziano, Ponte Umberto I, porto piccolo, ex carcere Borbonico, Mura Spagnole, Lungomare di Levante, Forte Vigliera, Castello Maniace, la Fonte Aretusa, il Lungomare Alfeo e la Porta Marina. Si proseguirà alla scoperta delle grotte marine. Entreremo in questi anfratti della costa per ammirare stalattiti, stalagmiti, fiori corallini e tante forme originali frutto dell’estro creativo della natura. Infine, faremo una piccola sosta per un tuffo.

Sono Manuela e ti darò il benvenuto nella nostra azienda agricola di famiglia che si trova in una cava di pietra riqualificata. Faremo una passeggiata nei nostri campi per riconoscere le piante spontanee, i fiori eduli e raccogliere i frutti che utilizzeremo per preparare un autentico pasto siciliano. Al rientro dalla passeggiata metteremo le mani in pasta utilizzando le nostre farine integrali di grano antico siciliano molito a pietra per la pasta fresca. Prepareremo i "cavatelli", una pasta fresca condita con salse di stagione che degusteremo insieme al nostro vino naturale e un dolce tipico siciliano che ti insegnerò a preparare accompagnato dalle grappe della casa. A relaxed cycling around the island of Ortigia and its alleys, getting in and out the places of this peculiar is stopping by for looking at unseen details. While wandering across the streets we could bump into the life and workshop of some local craftsman. I will meet you up close to main bridge that link Ortigia to Siracusa mainland, where we can rent the bikes and start cycling. Then we will first stop and pay visit at the workshop of "pupari" the locsl traditional Sicilian puppet theater. I will introduce you with pleasure to this world, give you a clue to enter in the world of this ancient traditions, you may to see directly the tools and some of the working tequiques, and some puppet used in the theater. From Ortigia we can cycle through the neighborhood "Borgata" up to the cycling path running along the cost. This is a very enjoyable trail close to the seaside and cliffs, and having a spectacular panoramic view on the est side of Ortigia and the cost. The cost of entry to the monuments, any visit to the laboratory and museums is to be paid personally and is excluded from the tour price.

We are going to visit, walk and enyiong, Cava Grande canyon, with the chance, if you are up to, of swimming in Cassibile River. We are going to access the canyon, walking by an old concealed mule path, used by shepards in the past time to get to the bottom of the gorge, or using some secondary trails taking into the canyon We are going to do it respecting the "path" itself, the environment around us, and the natural places we are visiting, trying to have the less impact possible, caused by our presence. I invite you to practice the “zen karma circle” and possibly to take away any little rubbish when we can. My choice to make guide only few people. Not because this tour is fancy, posh, luxury or exclusive, but simple because I care to be in the nature, trying to be less intrusive as possible. We will walk and chill out and share good stories, and celebrate nature. The trip by car to get to our location will last around 30/50 minutes from Siracusa. The walk is easy and undemanding. The time to come back to town can vary and it's only indicative.

Escursione sull'Etna in jeep autorizzate e trekking per visitare crateri,Grotte e l'ultima eruzione. Il tour è adatto a tutti . Partiamo dal nostro punto d'incontro con comode jeep o minivan 4×4, in direzione etna nord est, dopo un paio di km ci fermeremo all'interno del Parco Nazionale accessibile con guida autorizzata,poiché ci sono circa 45 crateri laterali. Dopo una passeggiata di circa 40 minuti visiteremo 5 crateri, uno dei quali è ancora aperto e si potrà ammirare la dimensione reale di un cratere. In questa zona osserveremo tutti i tipi di lava, minerali, deserto vulcanico e piante pioniere del nostro vulcano. Dopo aver visitato i crateri,con la nostra jeep faremo 2 km di fuoristrada per scoprire l'ultima grande eruzione che distrusse il vecchio centro turistico. Infine con lampade frontali fornite da noi visiteremo dei piccoli crateri all'interno (grotta) e una frattura che divide l'Etna in 2 parti. La visita sarà effettuata in aree di interesse vulcanologico e scientifico. IMPORTANTE: Prima di prenotare verificate se abbiamo disponibilità scrivendo un messaggio. Escursione adatta a tutti anche per famiglie. Altre cose da tenere a mente. Se siete senza mezzo di trasporto dal lunedi al sabato c'è un autobus a pagamento che da Catania vi porterà direttamente nel nostro meeting point. Oppure se siete con la vostra auto abbiamo un parcheggio gratuito.
