“It's worth the trek up. Pictures don't do it justice so make to go and see the real thing if you are in Arizona. I recommend staying over in Flagstaff for the evening and popping over to Grand Canyon early in the am.”

“If you're headed to visit Grand Canyon, we highly recommend hiking or biking while you're there. It's such an enormous sensory overload with so many people that you really won't comprehend what you're looking at unless you take the time to see more of it. Biking is the ideal way with shorter time and people who may not be in shape for hiking. The trails are pretty flat, offer incredible views, and are suitable and fun for almost everyone! ”

“A must see when your in the Gand Canyon National Park. Gourmet dining in an atmosphere of historic and casual elegance describes this world-class dining experience. Located in the historic El Tovar Hotel, this celebrated and majestic Dining Room is constructed of native stone and Oregon pine. The murals on the walls reflect the customs of four Native American Tribes – the Hopi, the Apache, the Mojave and the Navajo. The ambiance is rustic but classic and traditional.”

“Your best option for a quick hike into the Grand Canyon from the South Rim. We're both somewhat experienced hikers, and on a fine late April weekend it took us 2 hours or so to hike the 3 miles round trip to Cedar Ridge and back, the perfect vantage point for experiencing the Canyon up close. Can't wait for next time, with more time, when for sure we'll descend further into the Canyon on South Kaibab Trail.”
