“Here's your chance to be Goliath at Mini Town which shows off Durban in a miniature version. Durban Ice Arena is the place to be to just chill while having a blast with your skating skills. Surf, swim, paddle board in the warm Indian Ocean all year around. ”

Restaurante
“With loungers on the sands, café chairs under brollies on the Promenade, and a sheltered playground, this grass-roofed café is a popular eatery for families. Follow an early-morning ocean dip with a stack of granola crumpets and homemade berry yoghurt, seasonal fruit, toasted almonds and a drizzle of honey, or brave a local favourite: spicy chicken livers with peri-peri sauce and two poached eggs on toasted ciabatta. Later in the day there are gourmet burgers, pastas and wraps, all good value for money; but it’s the setting that counts. ”

Nature
“Beautiful warm Indian Ocean. Lots of activites such as skate boarding, cycling and jogging. Lots of eateries along the 5 km stretch. You can have a leisurely walk along the beach from uShaka Marine World to the Blue Lagoon or walk along in the water. So relaxing and de-stressing.”

“Mini Town is one of Durban's most well-known tourist attractions. It was first established over 30 years ago. Mini Town gives a good impression of some of Durban's landmarks in a 1:24 scale. A walk around mini town will give you an opportunity to view excellent models of some of Durban’s most interesting buildings. One of the most popular features of the layout is a rail network with trains continually on the go. There is also an airport complete with airplanes. The harbor scene is very realistic and features a tug and ship traveling around the harbor. There is a railway bridge across the harbor and trains need to stop every now and then while the bridge is lifted to let a ship through. The little Town has a small refreshment kiosk where cooldrinks and snacks may be purchased the venue is also available for children birthday parties. Mini Town is a nice place to take the young member of the family for an outing. The weekends are the best times to goto to mini Town.”

Night Club
“For over 20 years Joe Cools has been rocking the Durban Beachfront. Situated on Marine Parade, South Africa’s most famous beach bar is the place where a cosmopolitan mix of tanned, beautiful people in the latest fashions meet. Given Durban's overwhelmingly one-dimensional reputation as a beach holiday destination, it makes a certain kind of sense that one of its most famous beach landmarks should be mere metres from the sand. Joe Cools is situated at North Beach and appears in every Lonely Planet and Let's Go guide, drawing young tourists alongside the locals. By day it's a restaurant filled with sun-worshippers lunching on the seafood, grills and pizzas on offer, but by night it transforms”
