Football Stadium
“SO MUCH FUN! Saints Football games! Whether you are there to cheer on the Saints or your own favorite NFL team, a college football championship game or to see a concert. It is a fantastic, covered and air-conditioned stadium with excellent service, drinks, food, and more! Totally worth it to go! Easy to get to, plenty of places to stop for drinks along the way or a bite to eat. About a 30 minute walk or 15 minute bike ride! ”

Parque
“The heart of history and culture in Tremé for the last 300 years. Congo Square, now encompassed by Armstrong Park, is where enslaved African Americans would gather, make music, sell goods, and visit on Sundays. Today, Armstrong Park is home to special celebrations of food, music, and culture throughout the year, and is open to enjoy the bridges and green space of the park any day of the week.”

Tourist Information Center
“"Audubon Butterfly Garden and Insectarium, located in the U.S. Custom House on Canal Street, encourages you to use all five senses as you explore North America’s largest museum devoted to insects and their relatives. You’ll discover why insects are the building blocks of all life on our planet and along the way, you’ll be shrunk to bug size; wander through a mysterious Louisiana swamp; join the active audience of an awards show for bugs, by bugs; and be captivated by thousands of butterflies in an Asian garden."”

“One of the oldest, most well known restaurants. Friday lunch is a local favorite but any day and time will be fun. It is super old school. Plan on wining and dining and enjoying yourself with no rush. Coats are required for men and no jeans. They don't take reservations for the main dining room but there is a bar if you have to wait. ”

“Lively, fun New Orleans-based chain offering oysters, po' boys, gumbo & other Cajun-Creole classics. My favorite is the "peacemaker" (a po 'boy that's 1/2 fried shrimp and 1/2 fried oyster..dressed of course). You should also try the oyster Rockefeller soup. A warning... sometimes there may be a very long line outside with a long wait. If so...try Felix's across the street. $$”
