“The Pines is one of the area's most beloved new additions. Excelling at both brunch (amazing coffee) and dinner, The Pines ups the ante with frequent live music both within their restaurant and expansive outdoor space dotted with numerous picnic tables. ”

“Purchase a day pass that will give you access to some of the best amenities in the region. Lounge in Adirondack chairs next to the firepit with sweeping views of the Esopus Creek, or take advantage of the steam room, sauna, and hot tub on the back deck -- especially perfect for the fall and winter seasons. ”

Place of Worship
“Visitors seeking a more spiritual experience might want to check out the monastery's open to the public meditation sessions, meals, and other offerings, all found on their website. The campus is just close by, on a beautiful hilltop by the Mt. Tremper trailhead. ”

Feira de agricultura
“This place has a very interesting selection of locally sourced meats. Possibly the best around. I am a fan for picking up something a little out of the ordinary there. I can’t say that I shop there only because it is a bit further away than the IGA is, but if you are on your way West on 28 towards Phoenicia, definitely stop there. I usually just pick up snacks when I am headed to the Esopus. ”

“I love this place! It is a spa, a great, funky store, with lots of this and that, a bakery, a restaurant, an inn, and it has the world's largest kaleidescope! It's a fun couple hours.”

“Old, old, old school Italian down the road in Mt. Tremper. While you spin pasta, the owner might spill the sauce over Hendrix & Joplin visits back in the day. They close for the season so call first.”
