“The pioneer university town concept in the country and a playground for curious minds. UP Town Center plays host to two major universities and educational institutions, as well as residential villages along Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City. With its distinctive dining and retail options complemented by lush landscaping and greenery, UP Town Center will continue to expand to serve as a place for social interaction, relaxation and convergence, as well as a venue for creative expression and performing arts. ”

University
“The Philippines' premier university where everyone is welcome. You can spend quiet times in Sunken Garden, check-out architecture of the Church of Holy Sacrifice, visit Vargas Museum, spend your Sunday jogging in Academic Oval, try the famous "isaw" (chicken intestines) infront of Kalayaan dormitory, and many more.”

“Channeling your inner Van Gogh while sipping on your favorite beverages is easily enjoyed by booking a session at Sip & Gogh in Quezon City. Sip & Gogh will provide the guests' canvas, paints, brushes, palette, easel, and apron. It also lets them take home their Van Gogh masterpiece at the end of every session. ”

Parque
“Famous landmark of the University of the Philippines. It is in the heart of the 2.2 km. Academic Oval surrounded by acacia trees. It has been the most favorable place for the UP and non-UP communities for its wide and shady area to present a place for a number of activities. The setting of the sun provides a perfect backdrop for the people who want to spend time in the Garden. ”

“If you are feeling a little bit fancy, and have already gone to Trellis and still have enough Philippine currency with you, you can try Via Mare restaurant inside the university campus to sample Filipino cuisine. This is the favorite restaurant of the faculty of the university (and also said to be the favorite of former First Lady Imelda Marcos) and for good reason. The food here is like the home-cooked dinner your Filipino mom cooks at home if she happens to be a really good chef who trained at Le Cordon Bleu. This is a good place to visit on your last day to cap your gastronomical experience of Manila. Instagram-worthy.”

“Ramen Nagi is one of my favourite ramen houses in the metro. This type of food isn’t just for rainy days. In fact, I enjoy a piping hot bowl even on the hottest days of the year and survive the heat out of sheer love and willpower. I love ramen that much. And I’m pretty sure I’m not the only hardcore ramen lover out there willing to brave the Metro Manila heat just for their favourite bowl. All I can say is, Ramen Nagi's food is delicious and satisfying and in generous servings, too! For their ramen, they give you a little form so you can specify the flavour, richness of taste, heaviness of special sauce, heaviness of garlic, cut of pork, vegetable ingredient, spiciness, and firmness of noodles. My personal favourite is the Butao King that is extra rich and extra heavy on garlic and special sauce with pork shoulder and green onions and with a level 5 spiciness. The type that I order may be too rich for some, so you might want to request normal or light richness. I also love the Red King which is a red-hot spicy miso-based variant for those who like a fiery kick to their taste buds. It has a mix of garlic, chili oil, and cayenne pepper, topped with a miso-infused ball of minced pork. Their sides are also very good. They have sesame cucumber, pork katsu roll, gyoza, and chicken karaage (the latter two being my favourites). Service is very good with the wait staff responding quickly to calls and requests. They will welcome you with an "Irasshaimase!" greeting, which is typical of many Japanese restaurants. One thing that may be off-putting to some is the price as it is a bit on the higher end. Otherwise, Ramen Nagi is a truly wonderful dining experience and will continue to be one of my favourites.”

“Across it is the p2p (point-to-point) bus stop. Check their schedule and bus network at www.p2pbus.ph Most decent, comfortable and safe public transportation in Metro Manila. I personally recommend taking this and/or taking a Grab (ride-hailing app) if you need to go to other parts of the metro.”
