“Yardbird is a modern izakaya that specializes in chicken yakitori. A ‘no reservations,’ family-style restaurant that combines the highest level of service with the best quality food and drinks in a fun and relaxed environment. Highlights: Chicken meatball, Corn Tempura, Liver Moose, The KFC (Korean fried cauliflower), Rice Cakes, Chicken and Egg Rice, Peanut butter ice cream. As well as their extensive list of cocktails and Japanese Whiskeys. P.S. Walk-in only. If you want to eat inside without a wait, pop in early before the crowds settle in. ”

Place to shop
“The market comprised of two sections: The South Block on Queen's Road Central was built in the 1850s but had already been demolished more than twenty years, while the North Block (the one you are about to visit) was built in 1906 and is a declared historical monument, so Hong Kong's real estate sharks can't tear it apart. The market is open daily, from 10am to 7pm, and other than traditional Chinese shops that sell everything, from souvenirs and cheap fakes to jade stones and handcrafts, it boasts a nice restaurant on the 3rd floor (Treasure Inn) and some good fabric shops.”

Cha Chaan Teng
“Hoi On Cafe is a local cha chaan teng which has more than 60 years of history. It opened in the 1950s and nothing much has changed of its interior since then. I especially love the fridge because it just looks so cool! In here, you will be able to try the local snacks including pineapple bun with butter, egg tart, red bean ice smoothie and the list goes on. Yum!”

“Everyone loves to yum cha in Hong Kong. But what are the other good picks to have dim sum apart from the Dim Dim Sum and Tim Ho Wan franchises? I would put Victoria Harbour Restaurant on the list. Located in Sheung Wan, many office workers often come to here to enjoy their lunch break. ”

Restaurante cantonês
“Authentic Cantonese cuisine and DIm sum place with a very good roast menu such as BBQ pork (Cha siu) and roasted duck. It can get abit noisy during lunch hours as it is packed with office people grabbing lunch. Best to go between 11am-12;30 pm or between 1430-1600. ”
