Paisagem incrível
“Much of Charleston can be enjoyed by long strolls down alleys and past grand old homes. The Battery is the very tip of the Charleston peninsula, at the end of East Bay. Stroll back up and catch Waterfront Park with it's iconic Pineapple Fountain, the Old Exchange & Provost Dungeon, and the Historic Charleston City Market. Plenty of stores and places to grab a treat or lunch along the way.”

“The historic Battery, at the tip of the peninsula. Its the location on the harbor you always see the weather channel broadcast from during big storms. Wonderful photo spot, large oaks and great spot for a picnic. Great place to see old architecture. Free parking along the battery also. There are no public restrooms in the park though (just keep in mind)”

Sala de cinema independente
“Escape the soulless box store theater chains and gather where people love movies! Support your independent small business. We answer our phones and our emails. We have a vibrant Facebook following and exchange ideas regularly. Add the largest selections of both traditional and unique concessions, along with a huge variety of beer and fine wines from around the corner and around the world, it's clear that the Terrace is simply the best. The Terrace has partnered with numerous local charities to use its fortunate position to raise awareness and money for a variety of causes, including Lowcountry Orphan Relief, Darkness To Light, Charleston Jewish Federation, Pet Helpers, and Lowcountry Food Bank, along with many others. ”

“Drive down to the east end of the island as far as the road takes you. From there you can get out walk to the end of the island either by road, past the barricade or by the beach. I like to do a loop. You can see the light house from the end and often there are dolphins close to shore. ”
