“Holkham has a tiny population of fewer than 250 people which makes it the perfect place to visit for a relaxing day out. The Holkham National Reserve is breath-taking year-round with plenty of beautiful flora and fauna to see. At the centre of which is Holkham Hall and the quiet beach at Holkham Gap. The grand Holkham Hall is an 18th century country house that is open to visitors at various times throughout the year. Steeped in history, with plenty of period features, there is also a tearoom where you can indulge in scones with jam and cream and a pot of tea.”

“The beach at Holkham is one of our favourites anywhere… it is know as the 'Shakespeare in Love' beach as this is where the closing scene in the film was shot - it's breathtaking. There's also a nice walk from Wells-next-the-Sea, along the beach, past the famous beach huts to the car park and a woodland walk back on a return to Wells. We usually end up buying fish and chips as a reward for the walk.”

Loja de artesanato
“Also at Holkham and Burnham Deepdale, this entrepreneurial couple have built a firm following locally and with the holiday makers. Quirky finds mix with a lovely range of clothes, jewellery books, and all sorts of interesting pottery etc. We love it and have sourced lots of the interesting pieces you will find at Meadow Cottage from there.”

“The Norfolk Coast Path is a footpath in Norfolk, running 83 miles (133.5 km) from Hunstanton to Hopton-on-Sea. It was opened in 1986 and covers the North Norfolk Coast AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty). It links with the Peddars Way at Holme-next-the-Sea, and the two in combination form the Peddars Way & Norfolk Coast Path National Trail, one of 15 National Trails in England and Wales. It links to the Angles Way and the Wherryman's Way at Great Yarmouth, and to both ends of the Weavers' Way, at Cromer and Great Yarmouth. In December 2014, the trail was extended to Sea Palling and forms part of the England Coast Path. In October 2016, the trail was further extended to Hopton-on-Sea.”
