“Who doesn't know the colourful houses at the coast, leading to the perfectly blue waterline? Cinque terre is nearer than you would think, a gorgeous day trip! https://www.cinqueterre.it/ 1.45 hours from the Villa Sermolli We recommend driving only to a town nearby (e.g. the free parking in Santo Stefano) and then take the train. There are tickets that allow you to use the regional trains for the whole day so you can hop on and off and see all the towns. But it's also a perfect place to go hiking!”

“The beach of Monterosso is the most easy to reach of the 5 Terre as it is just in front of the train station. The beach has glimmering sand and stones and the water is transparent clear blue. A real enjoyment to swim and dive, especially out off the high season, when there is not to many tourists.”

“Vernazza is the fourth town heading north, has no car traffic, and remains one of the truest "fishing villages" on the Italian Riviera. https://www.google.it/search?q=riomaggiore&rlz=1C1CHNQ_enUS639US639&espv=2&biw=1366&bih=643&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiQ0r3srpTOAhUFuhoKHZ3hB9UQ_AUIBigB#tbm=isch&q=vernazza”
