Bus Station
“The Butchart Gardens is not to be missed! It is a 20 minute drive out of Victoria and can be reached via public transit or by taking a tour. Set on 55 acres of privately owned land near Victoria, the gardens date back to 1904. A full time staff of 50 gardeners keep the grounds immaculate and well deserving of their world-renowned reputation. Open year round, the flowers and bulbs change with the seasons, blossoming by the thousands in spring, radiating red and gold in the fall. Highlights include the Japanese Garden, the Italian Garden, Sunken Garden, Rose Carousel and Saturday evening fireworks. Open spaces among the pools, fountains, and the many exotic plants are used for artistic and musical performances.”

“two words. Dead Lee! You have to go! It is our ritual morning stop and where I will be picking up breakfast for you whenever possible. Everything is baked on site, the staff and owners are fantastic and they do an incredible breakfast/brunch on Saturdays. And the prices are fantastic! You can stop in for a Sandwich and they do ready to go meals as well. Opens at 7:30 (a little late for me sometimes, but almost worth being late for work for)”
