Just 1.5 miles from Downtown Denver and 3 blocks from picturesque Sloan's Lake, this is an excellent base from which to explore some of the trendiest hot spots in Denver. Walk, bike, or take the bus to Highlands Square, LoHi, Tennyson St, and LoDo. This two-room basement suite is small and can accommodate two people.

Enter through your own private entrance into the basement suite of this Sloan's Lake/Highlands home. The first bedroom has a queen sized bed and (very) small ensuite bathroom with tub/shower, toilet, and sink. The second room can serve as a lounge area (no TV) or can be another sleeping space as it features an L-shaped couch which opens into a bed. The space includes a kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, water dispenser, and basic dish ware.

The suite description is "cozy" for a reason; it's best for just two people. Because this is a basement apartment, the ceilings are low and the space may feel small for folks above average height. Also, if we are home you will hear some muffled voices/footsteps from the rest of the house. We do provide a white noise machine. Please note there is no A/C; we do provide fans.

If being in a great location is important to you and you just want a place to crash in a chill Denver neighborhood after exploring all day, this could be the lodging for you.

Guests will walk down a private sidewalk along one side of the house, accessing their suite in the rear of the home. The space is accessed through a door with an electronic keypad.

Outras observações
While this space is private and guests will be the only ones with access to the apartment, it is part of a larger home. As such, guests should expect to hear other occupants, especially the kids who live here (footsteps from above can be heard in this somewhat creaky 1938 home, as well as TV sounds/voices) or run into them in the outdoor shared spaces. However, guests should feel comfortable coming and going as it suits their needs. We do provide a white noise machine to help with sound.

Additionally, since it is a basement apartment, ceilings are low. If you are above 6'1" in height, this would not be a comfortable stay.

Please note there is no A/C. It stays relatively cool being in the basement and we do provide fans. But guests should expect to feel like it’s summer on the hot days.

Sloan's Lake/Highlands is an awesome part of Denver! Within biking distance there are numerous breweries, coffee shops, cafes, restaurants with a wide array of cuisines, boutiques, grocery and liquor stores, and recreation trails. Broncos Stadium is just 1.5 miles away. 3 blocks away, Sloan's Lake, surrounded by a 3 mile walking/biking trail, boasts a beautiful view of the Rockies from the east side, and a skyline view of the city from the west. Walk down to catch the sunset behind the mountains! We will leave you a list of our favorite spots to eat, drink, and play.
