Quiet and cozy garage apartment in historical district of Bartow, FL. This sleepy southern town is half way between Orlando (Disney World is 45 minutes) and Tampa (Bush Gardens is 45 minutes). Plus just 1 1/2 hour from either beach coast. The apartment has a full kitchen, brand new daybed w/pop-up trundle, new bathroom with walk in shower, and 32" flat screen cable TV, plus free internet. Out side seating and grill available. Private entrance and private parking. Very safe neighborhood.

Immaculate in a quiet location. Quarters were cramped and narrow stairs a deterrent.

I am so sorry you where disappointed in the accommodations. The description online does say it is small, cozy one roomed garage apartment with stairs. The stairs are a standard 36 inch staircase, surely large enough for the average sized person. (I am rather large myself and I do not have any trouble going up or down the stairs, even carrying loads; towels linens, cleaning supplies, etc.) I have had several elderly folks stay and never have heard it was an issue.

If you plan to visit Alafia State park and Balm Boyette. This location is at a good price and 30 minutes fm each location. Very close to Cuban restaurant to restore your energy levels.
