We hope all is well. For the first time ever, I will take some time to post a public answer to your review. I think it is worth it for the sake of the AirBnB community!
We have been greeting more than 500 guests for over 5 years now, in our 10 boutique apartments. The beauty in hosting guests from all around the world goes far beyond the joys and rewards of hospitality. It provides you with a constantly renewed way of looking at things, an openness to the world and towards others. It is a wonderful lesson in life!
For our part, we strive to welcome our guests as warmly as possible, to make them feel at home, above all when they travel with their family, as in your case; when they visit Israel for the first time ever, as in your case. We arrange for them all necessary items to ensure a good start, food in the fridge, fruits, coffee and tea, bread and butter … even home-made cookies, as in your case! We expect them even late, as we insist to greet our guests personally, even when they are late, or very very very late, as in your case!
There is no mystery ! More than 100 guests have reviewed their stay with us, always laying special emphasis on our dedication to share with them ... in the simplest way. This is why their stay in Israel often remains unforgettable. This is why we are also proud to be Superhost for the 3rd year in a row, with 100% of 5 star reviews through our last 60 stays.
In most cases, we make acquaintance with curious, open, generous people. Some even become friends! But we can also meet jaded people, embittered, sad, cranky and full of their own … as in you case! And whatever we do, you leave Israel equal as when you arrived! But we try to keep only the good memories and take it to the next step!
Dear Beth, we wish you good continuation with AirBnB, but next time you want to stay with us, which is something we would absolutely not want to consider!, bear in mind that AirBnB IS NOT a hotel! It is much better! Even though YOU are supposed to refill your toilet paper!
