This is a row house situated in a typical Georgian yard that has 2 floors. In the upper floor there are 2 bedrooms, one large living/dining-room, small kitchen and a toilette. Stairs bring you to the lower floor (Souterrain/half-basement) that includes a large kitchen/sitting-room, bathroom and large living/party-room. The lower Level of the house is usually not rented, but if there is a wish, guests are welcome to use it on request.
-Bedroom 1 has a comfortable large double-bed, cupboard and a dresser and is furnished and decorated in light/bright colors.
-Bedroom 2 has a single bed, wardrobe, a desk and bookshelves. The antique bed (presumably built in 17th century) and wardrobe and the books create a special sophisticated aura of the room. The small library includes books in English and Georgian. Some of our guests appreciated the opportunity to have the books borrowed during their stay. Some of them even donated their own books to the library. We think this is a very nice tradition and all guests are welcome to follow it.
-Living/dining room has sitting and dining areas with 2 convertible sofa-beds (one can easily accommodate 2 persons, another is probably more comfortable for 1), TV set, CD player/Radio and a piano. There is a small collection of CDs (mostly jazz/soft jazz, soul). Guests are welcome to use those during their stay.
-The kitchen upstairs is rather small but comfortable and includes all necessary amenities to prepare a breakfast or a quick lunch or dinner.
-Bathroom with bath and toilette is situated downstairs, but there is a small guest-toilette on the upper floor.
-The large living/party-room is designed in a traditional/rustic style. It has a fireplace (not in use), paintings and typical Georgian ceramic vases. The room is mostly not used these days, but guests are of course welcome to use it if they wish so.
The house is situated in a small typical Georgian yard with 2 small green/bloomy gardens. There is a bank in front of the house that is often used by our guests to sit and enjoy a view of the gardens and of the traditional Georgian house with nice balcony across the yard on a warm summer evenings.
Amenities include heating, fan/ventilator, washing machine, refrigerators, a cable TV, CD player, radio, piano, wardrobes, iron, bed linens, toiletries, towels, gas stoves, kitchenware (electric water heater, toaster), basic staff in kitchen (e.g. tea, sugar, salt, pepper, oil).
