Interação com os hóspedes
Your hosts live in an apartment in the building overhead for the majority of the rental period. We are delighted that you have chosen to stay with us and we are on hand from your arrival time to offer help and advice.
The house occupies a central street location and although tranquil most of the time, guests may be subjected to the hustle and bustle of a busy little town as it springs into life during the day. There is no dedicated parking outside the house although there is plenty of space nearby. We have tried where possible to retain original features including wooden flooring so from time to time you may hear movement on the floors overhead.
There is a second apartment on the first floor, the top floor is occupied by your hosts.
We have worked very hard to provide you with comfort and style to make your stay as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. We would just ask you to make sure you have a fantastic time. Please be considerate to other guests staying at La Maison Anglaise and treat the apartment with respect. Thankyou
Married to Derek for 37 years. We both run our own businesses, I am a Chartered Physiotherapist specialising in Musculoskeletal Pain and Sports injuries, Derek is a painter and decorator.
We like to stay fit and do circuit training together. Derek also runs and I ride our horse. We both love to cook, Derek is the BBQ and Chinese chef and I cook anything providing it is out of a cookbook.
We spent most of our holidays in France and Europe. For 10 years, our focus had been with a holiday home in the french Languedoc which we shared with family and friends. Three years ago we moved to a new french home in the medieval bastide town of Monpazier. This beautiful town is nestled in the Dordogne, an area rich in its history of the 100 year war. We are loving the area with its abundant markets, restaurants and stunning scenery.
Derek spent nearly two years renovating the house to provide our visitors with comfortable stylish accomodation, a place to truly relax in after a day of sightseeing.
5 things I couldn't be without: family especially our two gorgeous grown up daughters, friends, great food, movies and skiing.
