A magnificent Mini Palazzo within the ancient walled city of Mdina. The house is one of the oldest in Malta having been built in 14th Century. Legend has it that Queen Isabella of Spain resided here when King Ferdinand joined the Crusades.
Casa Isabella's location cannot be emphasised enough. Mdina was the old capital of Malta - a medieval walled town situated on a hill in the centre of the island. The City is still confined within its walls, and has a population of just on 300 people.

Situated in its own gated alley off one of the narrow streets of Mdina, one enters Casa Isabella through a pretty front garden. This exclusive residence is both quiet and private and has been done up to very high standards, making it extremely comfortable in both summer and winter. Guests will find a large, vaulted reception room as you enter the house. A pleasant internal courtyard fills the room with light. One also finds a dining room with large vaulted ceilings, an antique wooden dining table and chairs seating 10. A modern, fully-equipped kitchen and a guest toilet are also found on this level.
A large sitting room is found upstairs, which features an open fireplace, 8m (25ft) ceilings, typical Siculo-Norman windows, and a wooden minstrel's gallery leading to the next floor. The living room is stocked with a library, games, and cable-television.
The house features 3 double bedrooms and a children's bedroom with 2 bunk beds. The master bedroom is on the 1st floor and contains a luxurious queensize bed, a large dressing room, ensuite bathroom with a large bath and shower. The room enjoys lots of natural light from windows overlooking the courtyard.
The second bedroom is accessible through the courtyard, and has a spiral staircase leading up to a luxury ensuite bathroom. The third double bedroom is situated on the top floor of the house, with access to its own roof terrace. A bathroom room is found a few metres away at the end of the gallery, with access through the children's room.
The thick limestone walls ensures the house is well insulated against the summer heat. Wall and ceiling fans are found throughout the house, with 2 of the bedrooms also enjoying air-conditioning.
The kitchen has all the necessities one needs. A large fridge and freezer, microwave, oven and a large dishwasher. Filtered drinking water is available from the tap. The kitchen is stocked with spices, tea, fresh coffee and everything else one would find at home. Guests will find a welcome package containing fresh milk, bread, butter, eggs and more.

House sleeps 6 adults and 2 children (up to 10 years old). Addition fees of £15 per guest for more than 4 guests. There is no charge for children under 10.

Guests will be welcomed by a family-friend who will be available to answer all questions. A welcome pack with bread, milk, eggs, tea and coffee will be provided. Guests receive an information pack to help them explore the best parts of the island. A variety of local guide books can also be found in the sitting room. Daily cleaning can be provided at special request but is included once week.
There is fourth bedroom which accommodate 2 children in bunk beds and there is also a cot.
