Our fabulous, vintage shabby-chic one bedroom Victorian flat, with breathtaking sea views across the English Channel, is only minutes from the beach and picturesque Old Town, with its boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, cafes and bars.
I've been renting my bright, seaside flat since January 2015.
Earlier this year, the flat was completely redecorated, and is now even fresher... with a newly tiled kitchen and bathroom.
An elegant 1 bedroom flat with unobstructed sea views across the West Hill Common, the East Hill Nature Reserve and the English Channel.
Boasting dark wooden floors throughout, an open marble fire place, high ceilings, tastefully decorated in vintage seaside charm, making it a very attractive and convenient one-bedroom holiday apartment to suit 2 (or 4) people.
Has a relaxing and extremely comfortable double bed with plenty of light during the day and black-out curtains at night.
The bedroom has two windows, facing the back of the house, which are double glazed, allowing you to have a quiet nights sleep.
There are a selection of books and magazines to read on the vast shelves of the bedroom (please leave the books and magazines in the flat, or have a chat with me about borrowing any, if you are too engrossed in a story to leave it behind ;-)
A cot bed can be provided for babies/ toddlers, with prior warning.
Just outside the bedroom, you will find a Phillips iron and ironing board as well as a useful umbrella for those rainy English days, and a sun tent to protect the little ones when it's too hot on the beach.
In this same cupboard you can find a laundry hanger, a wooden baby's high chair, a Henry Hoover, mop, broom and a wicker mat for the beach.
With a gorgeous grey marble fireplace as its centrepiece and TRULY unobstructed breathtaking sea views across the West Hill, East Hill and English Channel. The living room also benefits from a (John Lewis) double sofa bed, to cater an additional two people.
In the antique "gramophone" you can find a selection of cocktail glasses and some bottles of "grog". I have also provided a wicker basket of children's toys, to entertain little ones, should they also be our guests and a backgammon/chess set, plus Trivial Persuit for "bigger kids".
A retro DAB radio - with iPod/iPhone dock - can be found on the "gramophone", to add a bit of ambience to your stay.
There is also a selection of magazines, for your browsing pleasure, in the magazine rack.
(Please leave the books and magazines in the flat)
*Please note there is no television in the flat... although there is a TV licence so you can enjoy all licenced channels on laptops, iPads and other devices.
A tidy and intimate kitchen, with gorgeous reclaimed teak work surfaces, which benefits from a washer/dryer, fridge, double oven, 4 hob gas cooker and all the conveniences of a modern home.
You can find a kettle, toaster, hand blender, a wide selection of glasses, mugs, plates and vases as well as a few cook books to inspire you (if you are thinking of eating in).
A selection of "Take Away" menus can be found on the rack in the hallway - If you are a fan of Indian food Jali is a favourite of ours.
Under the sink you will be able to find any cleaning products you may need during your stay.
A fire extinguisher (in case of emergency) is located to the left of the kitchen, on the counter.
Next to the kettle you will find a "TIP JAR", for you to add a contribution if you break or misuse anything. Please be as generous as you feel is right to, so that guests after you can also enjoy these added perks.
In the kitchen I have added a folder (red) with all my favourite places to eat, drink, see and do in Hastings.
A light and modern bathroom, with toilet, sink, bathtub and hand held shower. Body soap, shampoo/conditioner and varying bubble bath bottles can be found here too.
In the bathroom you will also find a small first aid kit, in case of emergencies (and in case of Hair Emergencies, a Vidal Sassoon full power hair dryer, a curling wand and BabyBliss travel hair straighteners can be found in the bedroom on top of the red cupboard).

This means: please bring out your trash and recycling, put all crockery and cutlery away (washed and dried), and put back where you found any furniture, toys, magazine or books which you've used during your stay.

I speak fluent Italian and conversational German and French (as well as basic Spanish), in case this is handy for you (if you are coming from abroad).
My name is Bindu. I'm a mum, a wife, an actress, a scriptwriter, a film director, an avid crafter, an amateur sewer, wannabe baker, cookbook hoarder, crochet enthusiast, thrifter, vintage shop browser, almond green Morris Minor owner and car boot sale wonderer...
My family and friends make me happy and make my world light up...
Some other of my loves include watching and making films, anything arts & crafty (if I can make it with my hands... it brings me joy), travelling the world (I love a good airport), feeling a sense of progression (and completion - ticking off my To Do List = huge personal satisfaction) and most importantly, laughing (which my husband and my children make me do, a lot)...
Top travel destinations include India, Mexico, New York and European city breaks like Copenhagen, Stockholm, Amsterdam and Paris to name a few...
I collect cookbooks (which I flick through in awe) and all kinds of Arts & Crafts books (from sewing to knitting... Crochet to paper crafts...), favourite films (so many to name a few) generally feature a strong female contingent, and Scandinavian TV series are a must... as is "Downton Abbey" of course ;-)
If you are in the mood to watch a feel good Movie (Romantic Drama), then check out my first Feature Film as Writer/Director called JUMP.
Winner of the BIFF 2012 (British Independent Film Festival) for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actress (Claire Price), Best Supporting Actor (Enzo Scanzi) and Best Cinematographer (Pietro Zuercher)

If you were a guest of mine you would be made to feel very welcome (in a manner befitting my Italian roots).
I am bi-lingual in English and Italian and speak conversational German and French, as well as basic Spanish... If that helps you and adds value to your stay.
