This is a beautiful, insulated, 14 foot, Alaskan Hand-crafted, Nomad Shelter Yurt, approximately 1/4 mile hike into our 30 acre wooded property. It is off-grid (i.e, no electricity) but is well heated. The yurt is fully furnished as a bedroom with a double bed, windows, and 5 gallon water dispenser. There is a private out-house a few yards away plus a housed hot shower/compost toilet at the front of the property for guests. It is winter accessible by foot/snowshoe/snowmobile.

O espaço
The Yurt is decorated like a writer's getaway, meant to be enchanting and escapist- no matter why you're there. The floor has been hand-painted in black and white chess board squares, there are ample books, and unusual curios. There is a 5 gallon water dispenser with water inside and we provide cups, TP, some towels, a fully made bed, and extra blankets in the chest. There are some lawn chairs outside as well. A fire pit is provided and there is a small deck outside to enjoy the overlook and the edge of the forest, as the yurt is nestled atop a small hill in a cozy clearing. About a quarter mile into the woods, you'll can relax in the quiet and beauty of the White Mountain area. While there is only a double bed standard in the Yurt, upon request we have a pack n' play available for infants and toddlers.

Please note, again, there is no electricity in the yurt. There are two soft-light solar lanterns inside that will help you get around inside, but You'll need additional light. If you have headlamps, bring them along or regular flashlights will do.

Please take your trash with you when you leave.

This space is very private and away from our house, which is also on the property, and also well-distanced from our other tiny house rental on the other side of the property. Both have their own out-houses, trails, and amenities. We have 30 acres and lots of walking paths right on the land for relaxing or for your dogs to explore freely. Guests are encouraged to walk, build cairns's, build campfires in the provided spaces, and earth-friendly art supplies are provided (upon request in the winter) in the rental if you want to make outdoor art installations. It's a lovely spot to stay and take advantage of all of the activities on offer in the White Mountain area, or to cozy up around a campfire and unplug for a few days in seclusion. If you want to cook, please bring a camp stove and utensils.

The shower is located at the parking area in a small wooden building that included another compost toilet. You’ll have to walk out from the yurt to use it. It does have hot water.

A short-medium walk and mild hike (one part has a bit of an incline) to the space required, very easy for backpacker's or those accustomed to outdoor activities. The Yurt is available in the Winter as well and is heated. For those who would like to snowshoe out- we can provide snowshoes to you, or if you are in the area for the many snowmobile trails, you're welcome to snowmobile to the location (on your own snowmobile. Many come to this area with their outdoor vehicle trailers for the trails, but we don't provide the vehicle).

In winter we can provide a sled (and an extra hand if desired) to help you bring out your items. If you'd like to have a fire, you'll need to bring or forage your own firewood.

You likely won't have cell service here, though some do. Wifi is only accessible from the trail entrance or upper parking area. For a lot of people, this is a welcome break from the world.

The outhouse is a few yards from the Yurt and we keep it as clean as possible. It is newly built, wooden, and rustic. The entrance faces away from the yurt, enjoy the view of the forest while you sit!

Also, understand that we're homesteaders and currently building a retreat center. While the yard and garage may look like a work in progress at times, and there will be tools and chickens around when you arrive- we make sure that the yurt gets the rest of our attentions and remains clean and cute.

Please be aware that starting in May, until the end of October, The Rock Pile Motorsport Park is open from 10-5pm Saturdays and Sunday's (and occasionally Wednesdays). Proximity means that the sound of the bikes are often audible in the surrounding areas during open hours. Less so at the yurt, but please take note. There’s nothing we can do about the sounds of outdoor sports in Warren.

Our rentals/property are apart of The Gnostic Memeplex and we are a registered Church (a 501 [C3] Non-profit)

Onde você estará

Warren, New Hampshire, Estados Unidos

We are minutes away from the White Mountain National Forest and the town of Warren is itself made up a large amount of Conservation. This is an amazing area to set up a home base for hiking, river rafting, kayaking/canoeing, and all kinds of motorsports. Lake Tarleton is 15 minutes away for boating or Kayaking (we have two kayaks available to use, if you have a roof rack) and there are many mountain bike trails in the area- including nearby town in Vermont. There are many river's in and around town, including the pristine Baker River, with lots of swimming holes and fishing spots. There's a restaurant in town called the Ore Mill with great burgers and a bar, Moose Scoops ice cream shop in the summer months, and 26-28 minutes in either direction and you can be in the quaint town of Woodstock or Plymouth. There is highway access 30 minutes away in Lincoln, where you can get on the famous Kancamagus Highway- one of the most incredible foliage drives in the United States- which also brings you to North Conway, a popular tourist destination. As well, the ATV and Snowmobile trails in the area can take you all the way across the National forest and even well into southern, New Hampshire. There is road access for Off-road vehicles over most of the town and trails to take you into the mountains for awesome day-adventures. As mentioned, if you have off-road vehicles, the Rock Pile Motorsport Park is nearby.

Hi! My husband (Daniel, who is British) and I live on 30 acres here in New Hampshire since 2018. We met 12years ago in San Diego when we were both traveling extensively and now have a little homestead with our dog, chickens, and a small orchard. We're currently working to create a retreat center and our property is slowly becoming even more of a respite for guests. This summer we're adding an outdoor kitchen and more rental spaces. We love the White Mountain area and know that you will too.

We live on the property but well-distanced from our rentals. You will be able to access the Yurt without us and we'll make sure you have all the directions you need before you arrive, as well as our contact number for calling or text. If you would like assistance with your luggage, we may be available to help you bring it too and from-but we will need to know upon booking if you need this assistance. It's normally a contactless/self-checkin-unless we are out working on the gardens and bump into each other :)-and backpacks are generally easiest for the walk out. please let us know when you plan to arrive (after check-in) just so we know you get in safely, but you can simply head out to the yurt once you get here.

Please also take note that you may not be able to get in touch with us out at the yurt. If you decide to book, you'll be responsible for yourself once you're out there and if there are emergencies, you will have to rely on emergency cell phone service, or possibly have to walk back to the main house to use the wifi or knock on our door. We do our best to make sure you have everything you need and enough propane to ensure you won't need to interrupt your stay. We can't see the rentals from our home and are not within earshot.

If you do have cell service, you can contact us from the yurt and we will try to answer your messages. Our wifi/phone service does turn off at night, however, when we go to sleep.

We rarely do so, but If for any reason we need to check and make sure you are ok (for example, you're late checking out, or the weather is extreme) we will announce ourselves from far away by shouting and you may hear the ATV prior. Your privacy is important to us.
