Our historic home built in the 1880's has 5 bedrooms and has seen 5 children born and raised here. With its own bathroom and sitting area, and private entry, our guests have found it quite comfortable. The kitchen is shared by everyone. The rooster crows early so we provide earplugs. The cat is curious. We occasionally dog sit. The bathroom has. Even remodeled with scorned shower. The washer and dryer are now in this room too. We tell people about the Boulder Hot Springs, just 3 miles down the road, for a good soak and sauna.
House built in 1880's. Cool because of the shade trees. Hot water heat makes it comfortable in the winter. We love living here and enjoy sharing it with our community of friends for pot lucks and meetings. Chess nite is on Monday nites in the winter, writer's and gardener's get togethers often occur here. Political movies and calls to action on recycling and organic farming. We have chickens and the rooster does crow early in the morning.
A great small community. Library is close, Thrift store on MWF 10-4. Interesting Historic County Courthouse. Informative Historic Genealogy Center. Radon Health Mines. Boulder Hot Springs Soaks, Massages. Boulder Area Chamber of Commerce Events.
Dean works in the garden most of the day, weeding and watering / X country skiing in the winter and guests are welcome to join him. Connie is involved in lots of community activities, Farmer's Market, Food Coop, Fitness Club and Church events so is in and out a lot. She also cooks at the Boulder Hot Springs.
Lots of good walking in and out of town. In the mountains and by the rivers. We can tell you about lots of the hikes, trails, and areas of interest.
The Boulder Hot Springs is just 3 miles away and is a great place to rest and soak.
We have extra bicycles.
Dress in layers, hot in the sun, cool in the shade.
Can feel cold at night.
