We have a Victorian house with private self contained, ground floor annex, to the rear of the property. The annex is part of the house with own private entrance to the rear and exclusive use of court yard garden. The garden is ideal if you have your doggy or bikes traveling with you. We are in the centre of Felixstowe in a residential street, 4 minute walk to the beach and gardens and 7 minute walk from the pier, a minute stroll to town centre and cinema and 7 minutes from the train station.

The property is a private self contained, ground floor annex, to the rear of the property. The annex is accessed via going around to the back of the houses, along a passage way to the rear of the property, through the rear garden, and the annex is part of the house, with own private entrance, and key safe. Parking is on the street, on the next and surrounding streets are unrestricted free parking. If you prefer, in the next street there is a car park at a charge of £2.30 per day. We never usually have a problem parking. The annex is a few minutes stroll to the beach, spa gardens, shops and cafes.

There is a beach hut that you can add onto your trip for a daily booking, just ask or book through the hut on our other listings.

It is a private self contained annex with your own entrance at the rear of the property. It is part of a Victorian 5 bedroom house in the centre of Felixstowe. The annex has recently been renovated. The annex has a vintage traditional homely style and full of vintage finds from our days of running a vintage shop. Including vintage 1940's Sanderson curtains and fabrics. There is a separate bedroom with comfortable king size bed, pillows and duvet are feather down, tv, drawers, full length and dressing table mirror, vintage Sanderson armchair, bedside tray table, lamp, hangers and hooks. We have left some book, magazines and digital radio in the annex for your use too. There is also a large kitchen for cooking with dishwasher, and an area with a small extendable table and 2 carver chairs for eating and sitting overlooking the courtyard garden. A separate shower room, with sink, WC, heated towel rail and tiled slate floor. The garden is enclosed with high fencing and locking gate, fairy lights light the garden and there are fountains, and outside garden furniture. Some of garden furniture may be covered or put away in winter.

There is a private garden with outside seating for relaxing with a coffee or alfresco dinning. This is for sole use of guests, it has proved very handy for guests that have come on their motobike, push bikes and also guests who are travelling with their doggy. The annex is a nice retreat for couples, and lone travellers. It is a comfortable space for work travellers or those visiting family or friends.

We provide little extras for making your stay easier, such as a selection of tea, herbal and breakfast, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, milk. Local Stokes sauces and vinegar, a must for your seaside fish and chips. Together with oil, salt, pepper, local jam and other sauces. We also leave a treat basket with fresh baked goods for your arrival from our local artisan bakery, depending on availability, and the length of your stay, usually bread and croissants, jams and eggs. If you have any preferences to what you would like, do let us know. Please also ask if you have any other needs for your visit, for birthdays or special events or extra guests, we can happily accommodate your requirements.

Shopping, we are lucky to have an independent wine shop, fish monger, bakery, butchers and green grocers. Also two book shops and some independent home wares, art and gift shops. Felixstowe also has a M&S, Tesco, Co-operative along with other high street shops, all a few minutes walk away. There is also a Morrisons store within driving distance and a Sunday Market, selling fruit and veg, plants, clothes and household items, held at Mannings Amusement grounds.

Green things to mention, there is an electric car charge point 0.3 miles away and a 6 minute walk. There is a 50 pence connection fee and a charge 25 pence per KWH. We also clean the property with Eco friendly products and leave Ecover washing up liquid and Method cleaning products to use, so no harsh chemicals. The products are refillable to help reduce plastic waste. Also leave all your wine bottles and glass and we will recycle them for you. Any unopened food items left at the property go in the food bank basket to be used by families in need.

Have exclusive private access to annex and garden, which is part of our five bedroom Victorian house. Access is to the rear of the property.

Outras observações
The annex does not have private parking, there is free street parking on Victoria Street for half an hour. Although we leave our car on the road all day and haven't had any problems in 2 years. There is unrestricted free parking in the next street up, Ranelagh Road, and also a car park at a charge of £2.30 per day. In the other surrounding roads there is free unrestricted parking. There is drop off and pick up access, by car along the walk way leading to the rear annex, but please be aware, access is always needed.

Please be aware that the pillows and duvet is feather down, if you have allergies, please advise for a alternative.

We are 7 minute walk from the train station. There is also a beach hut available to rent on a daily basis if required
There is an electric car charging point 0.3 of a mile away from the property, 6 minutes walk. 25 pence/kWh with a 50 pence connecting charge.

There isn't a washing machine in the annex, but for longer staying guests there is a laundrette a 6 minutes walk away, or we are happy for you to use our machine.

We are quite central to town on a residential street. We are a 4 minute walk from the beach and High Street. We are a couple of minutes walk from the independent cinema and art deco Spa Pavilion Theatre. The stunning Spa Gardens are also minutes walk away, with spring fed ponds and willow structures. There is a vegetarian and vegan cafe a minute walk away, along with other cafes and restaurants. Only a few minutes walk away from the newly built pier with Boardwalk cafe bar. Felixstowe has a golf course and foot and bike ferries to Bawdsey and Harwich. Felixstowe also is used for lots of activities including cold water swimming, beach and boat fishing, jet skies, kite flying at the dip, sailing, kite surfing, paddle boarding and kayaking, walking and cycling. We also have a beach hut that can be hired during your visit, depending on availability.

Nigel and I recently moved to Felixstowe to be near the sea with our dog Boris. We love coastal walks, good food, cafes, cinema, theatre and relaxing at our beach hut.

We use a key safe lock, this works really well for guests arriving at differing times. Guest have commented that they like the ease of the key safe, so they can arrive whenever they like and not worry about being delayed. Some guests have commented that they prefer not to be meet and just like to go in without having to meet someone.
Everyone is different, we use the key safe, but if you like to be met, just ask when booking and we will do our upmost to meet you personally and answer any of your questions.
We are also available by text, phone or email, for any questions or problems, you can contact us anytime before and during your visit, with any queries. We are close to hand as the annex is part if our 5 bedroom Victorian house, so are able to sort any problems you might encounter, but you have total privacy.
