We've been open for 15 years, welcoming guests from all over the world and occasionally we get bookings from people like Carlton that do not understand nor appreciate what the countryside is like. Indeed there are mosquitos, but there are also nicer wild animals like frogs and crickets in our garden, which make a pleasant natural soundtrack in the evening!
Our apartments all have mosquito nets, on at least a couple of windows. Of course when opening the door, one or two mosquitos might get in!
We provide products to keep the mosquitos away, but we are against using products in the garden to kill them all. The countryside is an ecosystem and we try to preserve it. We wish there was a way to keep people like Carlton away from this amazing ecosystem. They cannot appreciate it :)
Regarding the WIFI, we have 3 Apple AirPort Express wireless base stations, one of them located 3 meters from the door to the apartment where Carlton was staying. Normally the AirPort Express reaches as far as 20 meters, so it was totally incomprehensible why Carlton's phone would not pick up the signal. For the health of our children and of our guests we believe that it is better not to have a wifi station directly in the apartment...
