A large one-bedroom loft space set by a floral artist and a designer/architect on the Newburgh waterfront directly across from some of the regions best views, restaurants, and popular bars. The home is designed to be very modern and comfortable–a place for rest and rejuvenation with a view of Mount Beacon and the Newburgh docks. The contemporary interior boasts 11ft ceilings, a gourmet kitchen, live-in office, movie theater downstairs, and view of the Hudson River and downtown Newburgh.
Spacious modern loft with windows that extend the length of the apartment looking at the Hudson River, Beacon, and Storm King Mountain. The windows in the bedroom look over the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge and back towards downtown Newburgh. Quality finishes including marble countertops, stainless steel appliances, nordic/Japanese designed furniture, and a 45" flat screen tv in living room with Bose wifi/surround sound satellite speakers.
The dining area is designed with cooking in mind. Cookbooks flank the kitchen because we love to prepare meals in the large, open-plan kitchen. Modern appliances and amenities make it easy to prepare a large meal for friends or an elegantly simple cheese board.
The living room is prepared with a Roku smart TV with Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, HBOgo, and many more streaming channels. The TV is connected to a Bose home theater system for premium viewing and listening.
The bedroom has views back up to downtown Newburgh and a great view of the Newburgh/Beacon Bridge. The room gets plenty of light and is equipped with a washer and dryer for your use.
The bathroom is complete with marble countertops and walk-in shower which features a steam room for ultimate relaxation!
Kelsey runs a floral design studio and Nic operates an architectural & furniture design practice from the space so the studio is equipped with a commercial printer, tons of workspace, and plenty of inspiration if you desire!

Well, hello! We are Nic and Kelsey. We're both originally from Southern California, but consider ourselves east-coasters as we've been living on this side of the county for about 10 years now. We've seen our fair share of American cities and we must say, New York City is definitely our favorite!
We love the vibrancy that this city has to offer. Our favorite places in the city are the subway (you get of the train feeling like you've seen into the lives of all kinds of New Yorkers) and our neighborhood block (It has a small town feel without leaving this vast city. We say hi to our neighbors every morning as we leave the house for work and are greeting every evening when we come home). Of course, we also enjoy escaping the city on the weekends to go hiking, camping, and surfing.
Nic work as a freelance designer and founder of a design studio [ He's worked for a variety of firms, ranging from interior design and architecture, to graphics, urban planning, and community organizing. He is here working in New York City because it's the quintessential urban environment; he loves people watching and learning more about how cities build who we are as individuals.
Kelsey is a flower-farmer and florist. She is the founder of Heart & Soil Flowers, a floral design business that is dedicated to providing local, sustainable, and in-season flowers for weddings, events, restaurants, and photoshoots. Her design style is delicate, free-flowing, and whimsical, much like her own personality.
If we could travel full-time, we would! We're definitely the adventuring-type when it comes to holidays and travels. We shove our belongings into backpacks and hit the road! We like to wake up early to see all there is to see, but we also know the value rest and relaxation. We love to get to know the people that live in the places we travel; we love to see how others live.
We enjoy cooking, eating, and listening; and if they all happen at the same time, that's the best! We hope to learn about your travels and your life experiences!
