As you can see from other reviews, I usually do not respond to my guests overwhelmingly positive feedback. However, I do take extreme pride in Lakeview Hideaway and CAN NOT let one person potentially sway my future guests' decisions. If anyone reading David's uninformative, ridiculous, and downright hurtful review has any questions regarding our guest house please message me directly.

Then there is David's uninformed and uninformative review...
-1 STAR for "Accuracy" with no explanation despite not even staying... pics show the entire apartment, its ONE ROOM!
-1 STAR for "Check in" despite EARLY self check-in with a personalized code and gaining access to the apartment without any assistance
-1 STAR for "Cleanliness" with no explanation... please note other reviews regarding cleanliness
-1 STAR for "Communication" from someone that sends messages at 1:30 am and failed to read the description that the apartment has AC... in Southeast LA.. in the SUMMER
-1 STAR for "Location" with no explanation... apparently a safe quiet neighborhood is not his thing... maybe responding to his question that the apartment was 10-15 minutes by car from Bourbon Street depending on traffic was unsatisfactory?

Yes, David did complain directly to Airbnb without reaching out to me first and refused to respond to me when I reached out to him after hearing from Airbnb. Yes, David did get his refund after demanding a cancellation.
PLEASE NOTE that Airbnb treated this as a "penalty free" cancellation so that people like David don't ruin Hosts' "Superhost Status" with their unreasonable and uninformed actions.
