This is our much treasured home from home. We let the apartment to cover the costs for our visits and it is furnished as a luxury holiday home rather than just another holiday let. We wanted somewhere we could use throughout the year and chose this development because it has 2 infinity pools frontline to the beach, one heated, 2 jacuzzis, sauna and steam room . The site is immaculately maintained with superb planting and the facilities are excellent with supermarket, restaurants, gym, shops, a beach chiringito and sports facilities. Almeria is the warmest part of mainland Spain, has the highest temperatures and 325 + days of sunshine a year. It is incredibly beautiful and has a dramatic coastline and gorgeous soft sandy beaches with a stunning mountain backdrop. Strict building laws mean there are no high rise developments often associated with the Mediterranean coastline. We travelled from Mojacar to the Mar Menor looking for the right apartment and, when we came to the Mar de Pulpi, we just knew that this was the only one that we wanted despite it being considerably over budget. Any other apartment would have been second best. Our apartment is very special because unlike many (including others on the Mar de Pulpi) it has sea views not just from the solarium but from the lounge and balcony as well, and is very close to the sea and all the amenities. The Mar de Pulpi also has several different phases - not all are the same. Our apartment is in los Jazmines which is the most luxurious of them all. (Other phases cannot use our facilities) If you are looking for a luxurious apartment on a relaxing development next to the sea with excellent all year round facilities. In a superb position to explore and enjoy the gorgeous local beaches and chiringitos on foot, or venture along the stunning coastline via car to yet more magical coves and bays with soft golden sand and superb towns such as Aguilas and Mojacar then this is the place for you. There is parking directly outside the apartment. the journey from Murcia airport is around 50-60 minutes and is really easy on vey quiet superb motorway roads!

You have access to the full apartment and all facilities on site. We have a local agent who looks after the apartment for us and they will show you the apartment and are on hand should you need them throughout your stay. It has lots more all year round facilities than many other apartments in the area or on other phases of the Mar De Pulpi (heated infinity pools facing the beach sauna and jacuzzis, standard of furnishings and appointments etc. views etc.) You have access to all the areas of the apartment including 2 bedrooms 2 luxury bathrooms (with underfloor heating and heated towel rails) The good sized open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area (with induction hub dishwasher microwave fridge freezer) a utility area with washing machine, plus our superb roof terrace/solarium which is accessed by wide safe steps and an electric roof opener - (no open spiral staircases here!) as well as another balcony off the lounge! Included in the cost is electricity - wifi, weekly bed linen changes (plus 2 towels per person) We also offer much cheaper rates for long term lets of 4 weeks or more which have been very popular in our first season of letting. If you ae looking for a longer term let of 3 weeks or more please make a booking enquiry for the dates you require and we will give you a much cheaper price than the one shown! (We use the apartment in the UK school holidays except Christmas have a look at the calendar to check) Tip! If you want cheaper flights look for Monday or midweek flights!

We have experienced local agents who will meet and greet you and show you the apartment. They handle all the linen changes and cleaning etc. and are available throughout your stay so there is always a local point of contact by phone or e-mail (or call in at their office in the town) for you should you need them. If you require extra services such as additional cleaning they can arrange this for you at reasonable cost. On booking you will also be given the link to our website (you can find it in an internet search by looking up the name of the apartment) where we have lots more information and photos of the apartment, the area, the beaches, the restaurants and the superb site itself! There is a guest folder in the apartment with all information including telephone numbers for all the services you may require, instructions how to use the air con heating, window shutters etc. The apartment is also being licensed through the Andalusian authorities which means it must maintain certain minimum standards. (Many still are not apparently)

The Mar de Pulpi is a fantastic new development built to an exceptionally high standard and sits at the Southern end of San Juan de los Terreros on los Nardos beach . You can see it on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps at (URL HIDDEN) The site is immaculately maintained and is quite beautiful with superb planting, cobbled walkways, fabulous infinity pools, Jacuzzis, saunas and a lovely marine park with themed gardens and water features, outdoor gym equipment (free) running track, tennis courts etc. The walk from the apartment to the infinity pools takes just a minute or so (the apartment has stunning sea views from the lounge, balcony and of course the superb large solarium) The pools are situated next to the beach and the commercial centre with its restaurants gym and shops is again no ore than a couple of minutes stroll. At the commercial center (facing the sea) we have la Geoda restaurant plus a well stocked coviran supermarket plus other restaurants/coffee shop/ ice cream parlour some of which are seasonal. On the beach (just a short stroll from the apartment literally 3minutes) is the chringito mar de Pulpi which serves great seafood and really good steaks as well as being an idyllic place for a coffee or a beer or glass of wine /gin & tonic! A search on the internet for our apartment will take you to our site with lots more information. If you walk along the marine park you can cross the beach to the Calypso hotel and beach which marks the start of the beautiful san Juan de los Terreros promenade that goes alongside the soft golden sands to the town itself. San Juan is a very sleepy quiet town (it only becomes very busy the last 2 weeks in August when the folk from Madrid come down to their holiday homes) so it is a very laid back quiet area. However just a 10 minute drive or taxi ride away is the large and beautiful coastal town of Aguilas with some more superb beaches, great shopping and lots of bars restaurants and some clubs. 25 minutes South is Mojacar We love to pop into Mojacar for lunch occasionally and a lot of the furnishings for the apartment came from the town. If you walk the opposite way form the apartment you come to a great little village on the coast with a fantastic value restaurant called La Frontera, Pozo Del Esparto, San Juan de los Terreros, Spain For just €10 you get 3 courses plus a beer and a coffee!

If you area travelling by car the apartment is easy to reach, we fly into Murcia airport and hire a car. It's a simple straight run and takes just under an hour. Transfers can be booked at around €100 each way ( not bad if there are 2-4 people sharing) and you can have a relaxed and chilled holiday just on the site - but we love exploring the coast, the villages and dipping in and out to Aguilas and Mojacar so we always hire a car which can be really cheap if you shop around. You can walk into the centre of San Juan de los Terreros in around 15-20 minutes along the beach (this can take much longer if you choose to stop at the chiringitos along the beach front!) and the Sunday market has great fresh fruit/veg and hot chickens! There is a pizza house bakery fishmongers etc plus the Eurospar supermarket which is large and well stocked (as well as the supermarket on site)

Please note Pets are not allowed. The apartment is strictly no smoking. Pools are open from 10am to 6pm in the winter and till 8pm in the summer. The walk into the town of San Juan takes around 15-20 minutes along the beach and gorgeous promenades. There is a local taxi firm you can use which is very reasonable. . The onsite supermarket is very well stocked and there is a large Eurospar around 20 minutes walk away in the town. (Literally 3 minutes by car) and a large Mercadona, Aldi, Decathlon Carrefour (and a Burgerking!) in Aguilas around 10 minutes drive away. Aguilas is a superb large quite traditional coastal town with lots of shops and restaurants bars etc. and lovely beaches and around 20 minutes south is the resort of Vera Playa (including a waterpark) and Mojacar Playa and Mojacar Pueblo (the superb white washed Spanish village on the hillside with spectacular views)

Beautiful apartment with all the mod cons and more. Roof terrace with BBQ was fab in the evenings. Fantastic swimming pools. Great location, but car needed if you want to explore as a long walk into the town (25 mins). Immediate beach a little gritty but had good facilities. Lots of other lovely sandy beaches with shallow water nearby - 15 minute drive. Wouldn't hesitate in recommending this apartment to anyone interested in visiting the area - you won't be disappointed!
