Spacious and cool, Levant is well-equipped with all mod cons for four people.
The kitchen has dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven and hob, and a large fridge/freezer. The living/dining area has sat tv, dvd and a wood-burning fire for cooler spring/autumn evenings.
One double and one twin bedroom off the gallery landing, and a pretty shower room.
Outside terrace with bbq, with view across the valley.
At Faysselle Holiday Cottages, there are three gorgeous gites set on the side of a valley in twelve acres idyllic surroundings with a shared pool. The gites sleeps 4, 6 and 6/7. We have no passing traffic (only three houses further along the lane which is then a dead-end) , although within five minutes is a local village with shop, bar and restaurant, and a wonderful summer night market.
The main area of attraction for our guests is the tiled swimming pool (10.5m x 5.5m) with a toddler pool and waterfall. Surrounded by sun terraces, there are plenty of sun loungers and parasols. the games area has table football, billiards and darts, and we also have badminton, table tennis, petanque, swing ball and swings.
A cool and spacious gite with bags of character: lots of beams, retained stonework and even the rings for tying up cattle from the days when the building was part of a working farm!
Downstairs is a well-equipped kitchen with oak units, dishwasher, washing machine, oven and hob, large fridge/freezer and microwave. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, glassware, dishes, pots and pans mean that any time you spend in the kitchen will be stress free. Oak dining table and chairs. Comfy sofas, satellite tv and dvd, woodburing insert fire for chillier spring and autumn evenings or for a winter let.
A feature stone staircase leads to a galleried landing. The double bedroom has views over fields and the single bedroom overlooks the garden. Pretty shower/wc.
Outside is a terrace shaded by roses, honeysuckle and vines. Enjoy the view across the valley whilst preparting the BBQ!
The Lot et Garonne is a blessed with beautiful scenery and a wonderful climate, and yet has remained somewhat in the shadow of its neighbouring department, Dordogne. We consider ourselves so lucky to live in this lovely area, and yet have few of the crowds, and no traffic jams, that can spoil the Dordogne area. There are numerous picturesque bastide villages such as Penne d'Agenais, Pujols and Puymirol, glorious scenery of rolling hills with acres of sunflowers in July/August and plenty of colourful markets with their tempting displays of local produce. The rivers Lot and Garonne both run through the department, as well as the Canal Entre Deux Mers, so water sports are plentiful or for a ore tranquil day out why not just hire a boat and enjoy sightseeing in a more leisurely fashion.

Guests are welcome to explore the property with its woodland and large field leading down to a stream. During the early summer, the field is a mass of flowers including a number of varieties of orchids and later in the summer it is a lovely place to just sit and enjoy the peace, the view and the wildlife.
Interação com os hóspedes
I am happy to help with ideas for trips out, booking restaurants etc or even accompany you to doctors etc if required. Otherwise I try to remain discreetly in the background.
I have two dogs, both golden retrievers who are gentle and quiet, and love to play with children.

We moved to France in 1999 and know how lucky we are to live in this peaceful and unspoiled part of the world.
We have loved meeting people from so many parts of the world and are always delighted when they chose to return a second, third or even tenth time!
