My home is only a 5 minute drive - 3.2km from Tralee town, and only 30 minutes from Listowel and Killarney. It is in a completely peaceful and tranquil rural setting, over-looking the vale of Tralee, and with spectacular mountain and sea views. I have 3 bedrooms available for guests. I have 2 double rooms one upstairs and one downstairs, each next to a bathroom, and a small single room ideal for a young child or teenager. This is a unique, remarkably peaceful setting we are sure you will adore!
I provide 2 spacious private double bedrooms, listed as Scotia's Glen - Room 1 and a separate listing of Scotia's Glen - Room 2. Room 1 upstairs and Room 2 downstairs. Both rooms are next to bathrooms with showers, and there is a third toilet downstairs near the kitchen. The kitchen is large and bright, and guests can make use of tea/coffee making facilities. Light breakfast (cereal, toast, fruit, orange juice, tea/coffee) is also provided. There is a nice dining table facing windows that look out onto the garden and beautiful views. To the right of the stairs is our family living-room, with comfortable recliner couches, a large flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a wood-burning stove.
Flexible check-in and check-out can be pre-agreed. GPS is not accurate for this location. I recommend (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps and an lnternet mobile connection as well as following location directions on the website. Further directions - locate Scotia's Grave Monument and take the next left turn on to a cul de sac. Continue until you see 'Scotia's Glen' sign.
I am available to help you with any questions you may have about the area, give suggestions on what to see and do (attractions, restaurants, etc.), or just a friendly chat.
I am Mary, a marriage education facilitator living with my adult daughter in a large house with 3 spare bedrooms. We are very laid back women who love socialising, travel and cinema. I have opened my house to the AirBnB community in order to meet new people and share the unique setting of our home, which overlooks the spectacular vale of Tralee and is nestled on the legendary Slievemish mountains, alongside the last resting place of Queen Scotia. I am looking forward to welcoming you to my home!
