Built in 1900, apartment was completely refurbished making charm, functionality and comfort armonize with the history and tradition of it unique location by the remains of the old fortress wall that surrounds the Cathedral, called “La Almendra” (The Almond). The street was named after the private gardens that were on the backyard of neighboring houses which constituted a green oasis by the Cathedral that locals would harvest and sell in the town’s market: Mercado de Abastos.

Street Huertas (Hortas) is situated in the old town, with car access and all the basic services only five minutes away from the apartments (chemist, supermarket, stationer’s, clothes shops, restaurant…
you won't need a car.... main spots are walking distance from the apartment. Santiago has good train and road connections with coast and inland attractions.
