Our place is situated on a plateau above West River with access to an 8-mile bike path, hiking trails, idyllic river swimming and cross country skiing. We're two miles to grocery stores and gas stations and 4 miles to charming downtown Brattleboro. You’ll love our place because of the beautiful land, gardens, pottery studio and gallery. Our place is good for couples, soloists, families with kids and furry friends (pets).
The space is attached to our 270 year old farm house but it has its own entrance. It consists of an entrance hallway, a sitting area, bathroom with stand up shower and kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, and an electric kettle for making coffee, tea and hot chocolate. It has a small staircase leading up to a large sleeping loft with the capacity to sleep up to 5. We provide a bottle of wine on your first night and a simple breakfast basket each morning of your stay. Fresh linens and towels provided. Air conditioning is available if you like. Children and friendly dogs more than welcome!

Other than the studio apartment you have access to a front yard and picnic table, several large fields as well as back yard and fire pit. The river trail is only a few minuets down the hill from your front door.

We are an artsy and earthy homeschooling family of four that lives in a separate part of the house. We are home a lot of the time so we're often available if you need anything. Feel free to come over or just text with questions if you prefer a little more privacy.
We love having kids and friendly dogs around. We can make a campfire in our backyard firepit if you like.
Not a lot of rules here! Open communication will give us the best chance to give you a great stay.
