The cottage was perfect for our visit, very homely, comfortable and clean, road a bit noisy. Graham was very welcoming and always available to answer questions and make suggestions. Ask him about the great places to eat locally, he is spot on! We were ideally located for the places we wanted to see. A must is Wells medieval Cathedral, it is magnificent and so well preserved. Take a walk around the Bishops Palace and see the swans who ring a bell at a window when they want to be fed! Drive through the Cheddar Gorge on your way to The East Somerset Railway. If you fancy a real tread continue along the Mendips to Chilcompton and eat at The Holy Cow, an amazing farm cafe. We particularly recommend the American style pancakes with banana and salted caramel sauce for dessert! Watch the sun set either at Burnham-on-sea or Weston-Super-Mare, on a clear day it's spectacular. Do the easy walk around Blagdon lake. Above the lake is the village of Blagdon which has a great pub called the Queen Adelaide where they serve the most delicious Sweet Potato soup. Hoping you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

A lovely clean cottage with everything you need whether you want to cook for yourselves or eat out. Graham and Kirsty are a lovely couple and nothing is too much trouble for them. We took our elderly dog who was quite lame and it was perfect for her as there were no steps to navigate. Would be good for people who have mobility problems as there is also a wet room. The A38 is very close and can be quite noisy at times but this is the only negative point, otherwise it's 10/10 from us.

Wonderfull and most accomodating. Graham was so pleasent and helpfull and though we never got to meet his family we are sure they are alike. We had absolutely everything in a very comfortable cottage and Graham was there to help us with any extra requests as well as sound and good advise on places to visit. Location is great close to Bristol and the beautifull coast of Somerset with all its picturesque villages and 15 min from Cheddar. Very much recomended and hope we come back.

Gorgeous cottage, fully equipped, fantastic hosts, very safe and enclosed. Road noise a bit loud, but a fan in the summer drowns it out. Lovely little local pub with great food a 2 min walk away. Highly recommended :-)

Graham and Kirsty were lovely hosts. We had a fantastic stay in a secluded area, close to great places like Bath, Bristol or the Exmoor. Excellent for exploring the area (if you have a car, which we did). The cottage is cosy and offers all a couple or a single person needs. Quiet during nights, during the day you can hear the nearby road (which didn't bother us because we were away for most of the day anyway). Comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen and living room, including TV, wifi, etc. (as described and pictured in the ad). We wished we could have stayed longer, especially because Graham and Kirsty were so friendly and we got along quite well. They live just next door, which is great if you need anything from them. We had the cottage to ourselves and it felt like a home away from home. Great stay, would definitely come again!

Bien situé pour rayonner autour avec des plages d'un côté, les gorges de Cheddar de l'autre, Bristol pas loin! Les parcs nationaux et le pays de Halles ne sont pas loin non plus!

Hi!

I've always enjoyed travelling and meeting new people, so Airbnb is the perfect excuse to do both.

My other interests include running, swimming and occasional yoga.

Kirsty and I live in the beautiful Somerset countryside with our rescue cat.

We love gardening, spending time with friends and family and we're both foodies.
