This young lady asked to be let into the property 2/3 hours before the check in time so that she could prepare food for an ill guest before his arrival. I relaxed all our rules knowing that we would have only 2 hours to turn the property around for her and her family. 7 beds had to be changed, the house cleaned and made ready for her party with in 2 hours. The property manager and cleaner were there on hand to welcome her and she was shown around the cleaned property. She was thankful to be let in and saw its condition. The property manager is on hand at all times to answer queries, but there were none. I personally received a text about the wifi being down. We have since changed provider (Now with TalkTalk - but we are the very last property on the line and the house walls are 2 foot wide, so signal is limited). Please note this is a remote, black sky farm; foxes and badgers will roam outside at night, they may leave the odd present behind, it is The countryside. The previous client had been there for 2 weeks and they did not have any dog or cat with them so any idea about a smell of dog in the property is totally unfounded. This property was refurbished over the winter and only opened in April to let. Only one dog stayed for 2 days in April and never went upstairs. This property has an electric safety certificate, a hard wired fire alarm and co2 dectors, there are light bulbs under the sink should any pop.
This is the last time that I will allow anyone to check in early. From now on checkin is from 2pm. No favours will be granted, it is not fair that my team should be put under pressure in that way and then criticised for their efforts they at lovely kind honest people. To behave like this and ask for a £350 Is the work of mischief.
