The apartment is just behind the station in the so called "Bolognina" neighborhood, "Little Bologna", which is one of the most pop and characteristic hoods in Bologna, just 35 minutes walking to the center. Silent apt just behind the main street with a courtyard-garden where to make breakfast in the summer. This can be the best starting point for you, to discover a cultural, historical and foodie town!
My house welcomes maximum 2 guests with a big twin bed, a bathroom and a lounge with kitchen and fridge where you will have meals, even if, in spring-summer beginning autumn, there is also the outdoor option, the courtyard with a garden table and 2 chairs.
The amazing aspect of the house is the possibility to stay in the most interesting and pop neighborhood of Bologna - where tradition mixes with contemporary- called Bolognina (tiny Bologna), which is just behind the central station, still very central and also near to the Fiera District.
My house is just 35 minutes walking to the two towers (symbols of Bologna) and 10 minutes by bus, whose stop is just 3 minutes from the house's gate. Beside the house's exit, on the pavement, goes the bicycle lane. And another lovely aspect is the total silence of the area, even if beside the main street.
Bolognina, my neighborhood, is one of the oldest and most cozy of the town, due to its multicultural personality. Here the new Bologna is blossoming, but the atmosphere is somehow that of an old and "red bricks" working class area with all the charming aspect of an architectural vision that still lives here and melts with contemporary. Industrial + nowaday culture feeling leads the neighborhood personality, and I love it!
The area is full of restaurants, you can for sure taste different cultures in a dish, from Bologna tortellini to greek moussaka, from chinese spring rolls to gourmet hamburger, from vegan delikatessen to remixed tradition with a twist of creativity or southern Italian style fish. But I'll tell you about all the secrets in person.
Ah, near the house there is a bar for breakfast, a super gelateria and a bakery. Not very far a traditional and public market. And I will suggest, in case you are interested, the nice places where you can eat in town: I am a food blogger and I am really passionate about food, bar, cafés, restaurants, bistrò :-)
Strategically, the place is near the Bologna Fiera District: you cross vertically the neighborhood and in 25 minutes walking you are at the fiera. By bus is longer.
There is a whole world to discover behind the station's bridge (also the most beautiful street art you can find in town)... but in case... you reach the center in a moment.

you can use the garden with little table and chairs, where - with warm season- is possible to have breakfast. In winter no table outside, because of bad weather :) . The apartment, an independent one, is ground floor, no stairs!

To reach my apartment from the airport: if you are 2 people is much more convenient the taxi than the bus. It costs 15 euros or less, wether 1 bus ticket is 6 euros and 2 are 12 euros.
I just ask, if anybody brakes anything...please to tell me :-)
-smoking is strictly forbidden
-Please switch off all the lights before leaving
-Please lock the door every time you go out
-In case of bad weather just close the windows
