Informações sobre este espaço
The house is at a distance of 400 meters of Ubuds famous Monkey Forest in Nyuh Kuning, a rural area of Ubud.
Nyuh Kuning is very peaceful and quiet and a pricewinning village (the cleanest of Bali!). The house is 50 meters from the road so no traffic-noise.
People who stay in the house are always surprised - just like me - of the quietness of the place and the feeling of being in nature.
Upstairs is a room with a bed for 2 - 160 x 200 cm - and an antique teak sleepingsofa ( 1.85 x 0.75) ;total surface room + covered terrace = 32 m2. There is shower and toilet.
Downstairs a room with a traditional teak sleepingsofa (0.75 x 2.00 m.); total surface room + open kitchen/terrace( covered) = 48 m2.
Downstairs also a bathroom with shower + toilet.
The television is situated in the room downstairs.

The house is the property of Ketut Sabar and his wife Made, who live at 1 kilometer distance.
Made will visit the house every day for traditional offerings and will clean 2 times per week.
Both are very willing to help and assist the people who stay in the house: they will treat you as their personal guests.
Ketut is a popular taxi-driver who is absolutely willing to show you the beauty of his Bali.
At walking distance you will find many restaurants, laundries and shops where you can buy all you need.
You can also always reach me by internet if there are any questions.
Because of the stairs the house is not adapted for people with a handicap.
A respectfull approach of Balinese culture and my neighbours is essential. I also expect my guests to treat the house and everything inside and outside as if it is their own property.

After my retirement - I worked as a manager in social service in the Netherlands - i decided to live abroad.
I have choosen to rent a house in Bali because of its climate, the friendly people, its culture and the beautiful nature.
Tourism is concentrated in the south: north of Ubud you will find beautiful and quiet landscapes.
