  • Fantastic little haven in beautiful location! Bodhi's Beach Hut was complete luxury from beginning to end! So much bigger than it looks in the photos, perfect for a romantic or peaceful getaway for two. Everything was finished to the highest standard - under floor heating in the bathroom, complimentary robes, coffee machine, log fire, strong wifi. Tom even popped over with a cake and some flowers when we arrived! Great location close enough to walk to Constantine Bay, short drive from Padstow and Newquay. Lots of nice pubs and restaurants in the local area. I would return in a heartbeat, next time for longer than 3 nights!

  • Tim and Jo were superb hosts. So friendly and hospitable. The beach hut was so cosy and we felt so at home there. I proposed to my girlfriend while I was staying there and we absolutely loved it. This was the second time we stayed there and it will always be a special place for us. Thank you

  • The Beach Hut is the ultimate place for relaxation whether you are a young family or a couple. We've been in both scenarios and both times were equally enjoyable. It's away from the working world, but watergate bay and padstow are 10 minutes away if you want to visit civilisation. Great hosts, fantastic accomodation. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. Thanks.

  • Beautiful home! Wonderful stay, we can't wait to return. Highly recommend.

  • This place is fantastic! It's a perfect getaway and base to explore the amazing surrounding area. Tom was fantastic with offering suggestions on where to go to eat and things to do. We will definitely be back. The Hut itself is, as others have noted, much bigger than it appears in the photos. It's a stunning well finished retreat in an excellent location. We came for four nights and loved every minute of it. We certainly hope to be back!

  • The location for us was perfect short drive to the beach, walkable as well if your feeling fit. Dog friendly exceptionally clean beach! Also a short drive from the Cornish Arms for fab food and a very welcoming atmosphere. Local convenience shops a short walk from the accommodation. Taxi ride into Padstow or a short drive. So all in all FAB location. Accommodation had everything you would need. Large bedroom with besuited shower room, that is under floor heated! Kitchen has everything you would need to knock up lunch or evening meal. Living room has an exceptionally comfy sofa and log burner that due to great weather we did not use. Outside garden has the sun all day and evening. Definitely book again as ticked all our boxes! Tom and Jo were on hand if you needed anything yet the accommodation was very private and a real hidden gem!

  • An absolutely fantastic place to stay. This is our second time here and we loved it - the facilities are wonderful, the finishing touches are stylish and the bed is unbelievably comfortable! My partner obviously rated this place as he decided it was the perfect spot to propose to me. This will remain a very special place to us and we will most definitely be back.

A blend of modern Cornish design and Seaside Chic, you’ll instantly fall in love with Barn Cottage when you arrive. Although the properly is large enough to easily accommodate 6 people, we often find that couples like to book it for shorter stays from September through to May for a romantic getaway and a base to explore Cornwall. A hallway gives access to the bedrooms on the ground floor. The master bedroom features a king sized bed and en-suite with bath over shower and underfloor heating. If you have any questions or special requests please don't hesitate to get in touch. During the summer months we accept week long bookings with changeover’s on Saturday. Constantine Bay is one of the most beautiful beaches in North Cornwall. However there are infact 7 stunning beaches within 7 miles if the property. With access to the coast only 1 mile away there are also several stunning walks, our favourite being Trevose Head. Padstow is only 3 miles away and is world famous for its restaurants, but walking distance from the cottage are several superb restaurants in St Merryn, including Rafferty's, Waves and Rick Steins Pub, the Cornish Arms.
  • What a wonderful week we have just had at the beautiful Barn Cottage. The property has been renovated to a excellent standard and the interior design is super stylish. We found it incredibly relaxing and didn’t want to leave! The location is perfect for exploring North Cornwall, with so many fantastic beaches in close proximity.

  • This is a beautiful house in a lovely setting. It was extremely stylish and very well appointed. The open plan living area was conducive to socialising and the dining area was great. Fixtures and furnishings were high quality and the house was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The host Tom was so helpful; he responded promptly to all communications and gave us excellent advice about restaurants, taxis and local amenities. Highly recommend!

    Marjorie2018-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • Very stylish accommodation. Liked the location. Walkable pub and beach. Would have loved a bit of milk in fridge for when we arrived so we could have a Cuppa and would suggest an info booklet It would have been handy. Apart from that such a lovely place. Great holiday home

A warm welcome from us (and our dog Woody) await you in our cosy old terraced house, just 5 minutes walk from the centre of Wadebridge. Slate floors, beamed ceilings, quaint rooms and a pretty garden, along with a comfy bed and great wifi! During April through to September there is a minimum of 2 nights booking at weekends and during school holidays.
Kim & Guy invite you to come and stay in their lovely old terraced house in Wadebridge, in beautiful Cornwall. The house is Grade 2 listed and has lots of interesting history. The oldest rooms date from when it was a small detached farmhouse - 1770 we're told. It was then 'added on to' on either side to become part of a terrace (1800's). The kitchen ( and your bedroom above it) are the 'modern extension', built in 1901! We have a lovely beamed double bedroom available, with two windows overlooking the garden. It's slightly separate from the other bedrooms in the house. We try to make it really comfortable, & have included the things that we appreciate ourselves when we go away. This includes things like a bedside table and lamp each side of the bed (most important!). Various teas, coffee, biscuits etc are provided outside the room - feel free to help yourself. We make the bed extra comfortable - four soft pillows, 100% good quality cotton bedding, and a king size duvet on the double bed. Since the photo was taken we have changed the bed for one which has a wrought iron head and footboard. We've also added a table and chairs so you have somewhere to sit. There's a good internet signal in the bedroom. The shower room is almost en suite, next to the bedroom and again a bit separate from the rest of upstairs. It's 'sole use', and we provide towels on request. We also have a nice downstairs sitting room for your sole use. We'll make sure the dog makes room for you! It has a TV/DVD, and an open fire on chilly winter nights. You are welcome to use our kitchen/diner. We know how expensive it can get when you're on holiday & have to eat out all the time. We only ask that you eat meals here rather than in the bedroom. We're happy to lend wine glasses etc to take upstairs. You are welcome to use the garden. It's nice to sit out in the evening when the weather's warm. We also have a secure lockable shed in the garden if you bring bikes etc with you. We also have a studio where I make glass beads - these are for sale, or can be handmade to order while you're here. Or even better - learn to make your own 'flameworked' beads (£40 for a taster session of approx 2 -3 hours) - and have something special to take with you when you leave! PARKING: Parking is on the road at the end of the terrace, or just up the road or round the corner. Just to note that particularly in high season, the road outside gets busier with visitor parking as we are so close to town. The road gets MUCH quieter after 6.00pm, so that is an ideal time to arrive. Having said that, we (and guests) have always been able to park within one or two minutes walk of the house. You can always pull in to the lane right in front of the house to drop off luggage, you just can't park there. If parking is a worry for you we're always happy to move our own cars for you to park. As an absolute last resort (we've never had to), there's a pay and display car park at the bottom of the road.
Wadebridge is fabulously located, just 6 miles from the stunning North Cornwall coast. It's a small, pretty market town, with a pedestrianised shopping street full of independent shops - lots of little gift shops, pubs, deli's and restaurants. From our house it's just 3 minutes walk down the hill into town, so no worries about drinking and driving if you head out in the evening. In the town itself, there's plenty of places to eat and drink. This includes several traditional Cornish pubs, Indian restaurants, Chinese take aways, tapas bars, pizzerias, and plenty of small independent cafes and restaurants. We're happy to give you recommendations! Wadebridge has a lovely park, and the River Camel runs right through the middle of town. Alongside the river, the Camel Trail runs all the way to Padstow, 6 miles away to the west, and Bodmin to the East. This is a traffic free trail specifically for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. It's a beautiful place to stroll as it overlooks the river and then Estuary, so it's popular with bird watchers and photographers too. There's plenty of bike hire places in town. Wadebridge also has a sports centre, and a twin screen independent cinema too, so there's lots to do in the evenings. If you walk up the road rather than down, you're in open countryside within 5 minutes, with plenty of public footpaths & quiet county lanes to explore. Within a short drive (8 miles) is the pretty fishing port of Port Isaac (of Doc Martin fame). The historic villages of Tintagel & Boscastle are just a few miles further up the road. The surfing beach of Polzeath, & the gorgeous beaches of Rock & Daymer Bay are 7 miles away. Padstow (7 miles) is a really pretty harbour town. It's home to Rick Stein and is well known for its fabulous range of restaurants. Again, you can safely cycle there from the house, and from there walk to a number of beautiful beaches. Many of the beaches face west so you can get amazing sunsets over the sea. Newquay, with good surfing beaches & nightlife, is 15 miles away. The Eden project approx 20 miles. We can tell you about lots of little hidden gems as well! Being fairly centrally situated in Cornwall, nowhere is very far away. A tour of Poldark Country down the A30 is easily do-able in a day. Obviously Cornwall is really popular in the summer, but personally we love it in the spring and autumn, when it's still mild, a lot quieter, and still as beautiful. And don't forget the wild winter waves....
  • Just a gorgeous stay in Cornwall thanks to Kim! The most comfortable mattress we've slept on during our 2 month journey with beautiful heavy doonah/quilt in a bedroom garrett that used to be the master bedroom (not some unloved superfluous guest room). Excellent private bathroom with shower. And legendary hospitality and amazing breakfast. Couldn't recommend more highly!

  • Kim was a great host and both her and her husband Guy, were very helpful when we stayed with them. Their house is close to the village and very comfortable. Kim was flexible with our check in time and that was greatly appreciated. I would recommend this listing.

  • Kim and Guy were fabulous hosts. The loft was spacious, comfortable and convenient and we felt like trusted guests; we were given keys and allowed to make ourselves at home when they weren't around. We had some great conversations and we really enjoyed putting together a communal meal together. Of all of our airbnb hosts; they were the most engaging and we found them very enjoyable. We shared our interests and goals for our stay in Cornwall and they helped us find out the information we needed to make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend their place as a perch for any excursions in this part of the world!

    Joanie2013-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • Certainly exceeded our expectations!! We found Kim and Guy an absolute joy to spend time with. They were very welcoming, very friendly, thoughtful and helpful. They respected our privacy and made our stay a pleasure. It felt very much like home from home, comfortable, cozy and clean and the breakfast was lovely. The house is positioned in a great location, quiet and away from the main town but just a short stroll from town, where you can find many shops and restaurants. Kim gave us a lovely walk to do on our last day and even offered to lend us some cycles. They certainly go out of their way to make your stay one that you'll remember. When we visit Wadebridge again we will certainly go back....!! Shawn and Corinne

  • Had a very pleasant 2 night stay. Kim and Guy made us very welcome and we felt part of the family from the outset. Facilities were good with comfortable room, excellent breakfast. House situated within very easy walking distance of town centre. Would have no hesitation in recommending this to other couples with the very minor proviso about parking if not physically active.

  • A truly wonderful home, brilliant host and somewhere I would love to return to if ever back down south again in Cornwall. My first time using Airbnb and I must say it has been a great experience! I was down south to attend a wedding and Kim was extremely helpful and accommodating to fit in with my schedule. The home is beautiful, cosy, and all I could have asked for. Slept extremely well and had a lovely spacious room. I enjoyed my stay immensely. Only wish I had been able to stay longer!

    Amy2016-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic stay with Kim & Guy! They were wonderful hosts, and made us feel really welcome. Guy was kind enough to give my partner a mini golf lesson & I found the perfect memento for my trip from Kim's beautiful glass bead collection. The room is spacious, comfortable & private and the breakfast was the best we've had through Airbnb. Definitely recommend!

    Una2014-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Kim and Guy (and Woody the dog!) made us feel very welcome in their home. They were very generous with their house and we never felt like we were in the way. The breakfast was great, the room was clean and very comfortable and we benefited from their local knowledge. Especially the way down to Polly Joke. They even lent us body boards and wet suits. Great stay with nothing to complain about at all.

    Wadebridge, Reino Unido

Traditional British seaside holiday house, shabby and run down, but full of character, with spacious garden and stunning Atlantic views, in sought-after location. Self catering for 6-11; 2 baths; wi-fi. Golf, surf, cliff walks, sailing, waterskiing, fishing, gourmet Padstow. The Camel Estuary on Cornwall's rugged and romantic Atlantic north coast is one of England’s most desirable, yet understated, up-market hideaways - for everyone, not just for the two princes, prime ministers (all regular visitors), etc.. Whether it is cliff-top hikes, fishing, surfing, sailing, visiting historic houses (Lanhydrock, etc), the Tate Gallery at St Ives, the Eden Project or just savouring the seafood and other tastes of Padstow (gourmet capital of the UK, made famous by TV chef Rick Stein) or Nathan Outlaw in Rock, King Arthur’s Castle (Knights of the Round Table legend) and lots more, there’s something here for you too. And there’s classic British links golf: within 10 minutes drive is St Enodoc, recently rated no 35 in the world outside the US. Indeed, the Atlantic coast is home to several other renowned links. St Petroc sleeps 8-11 in a typical 1920s English seaside holiday house. It has a lot of charm, but is also run down and one often can sense the damp, especially out of summer. The description 'run down' also means that some parts of the house do not look clean, despite the fact that they have been cleaned: they are just showing their age!! If you are looking for a modern villa (and/or not a sense of adventure), this is not the place for you. But nearly everyone who stays there (in some cases, once over the initial reaction to the foregoing!) doesn't want to leave. This house has been in our family for over 60 years: despite the 'run-down' label we have done some careful updating of the facilities, including a new bathroom and new storage heaters. We have also upgraded some of the furniture, and added broadband wi-fi and two flat screen TVs. So why do we get more repeat tenants at this property than at any of our other properties? Perhaps you should come and see for yourself... Not recommended for the elderly, pregnant nor families with young children. Highly recommended for weather-beaten surfers, golfers, sailors and cliff-walkers and, out of the peak summer season, groups seeking a bit more of a roof over their heads compared to tents at the local camp-site for not much more. The whole house is accessible to guests, excepting a few cupboards for owners' possessions. We decommissioned the old external-access WC many years ago, having converted one bedroom into a second bathroom. We have also closed up the front door, enabling us to use the porch for storage, and the property is entered through the kitchen door; both doors access the main parking area, so this doesn't cause any particular inconvenience. The yellow bathroom is normally used for washing wetsuits and there is no pressure on the shower attachment; the owner still uses the bathtub, but most guests prefer to use the one in the second bathroom. Our caretaker lives close by and is available to assist guests. In addition, our administrator is available on the phone. As is normal for Cornish holiday lets, we do not supply linen and towels. If guests require these, we can supply them (£12 per single, £15 for the one double bed; plus £15 for caretaker's travel & admin expenses; plus £2 to make up singles or £3 to make up the double, if requested). The corner of our garden is the highest point between surfashionable Polzeath and desirable Trebetherick, 5 minutes from Rock and St Enodoc, and a short ferry ride from gourmet Padstow. There is little in the way of public transport, so guests are advised to come by car. We repeat: the house is in a run-down and shabby state (incl. not all wallpaper in its original place!), so if you are looking for an up-market villa, this is not the right place for you. Having said this, it has an olde-worlde charm that most of our guests love. Those who 'get' it, keep returning year after year. If this description is not your cup of tea, please don't reserve this property - we can recommend alternatives.
Polzeath is one of the UK's top surfing resorts, set against the drama of North Cornwall's Atlantic coast, at the head of The Camel Estuary, is a natural playground for holidaymakers of all ages - watersports, golf, hiking, gourmet Padstow, you name it... The Camel Estuary (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty) is a broad tidal river valley, over half a mile wide at Padstow. It stretches lazily inland for five miles up to Wadebridge. A tranquil and intimate landscape, it gains a sense of shelter and richness from the many small woods and creeks that flank the estuary. On the hilltops, the full impact of the coastal winds is felt, with long distance views down the estuary to the sea. Numerous small quays line the estuary and its creeks. Small lanes are bound by high hedges and overhung with trees, with the popular Camel Cycle Trail linking Bodmin and Padstow.
  • William and his team were brilliant hosts and were very professional throughout our booking and stay. The house was in an amazing location and I would recommend visiting this area. The garden was really pretty but the house itself is rundown and could do with being updated! If you're looking for a budget get away in an awesome place stay here.

    Danny2016-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location for a family weekend, lots of space for everyone. Short walk to the beach and ideal place to stay with dogs, House full of character and as expected, kitchen had lots of pots and pans if you want to cook. Would definitely like to return when weather better and rest of our party feel the same! Mary was there to meet us on time and at the end of a phone if needed and owner even bought some more heaters to make sure we were warm enough during the coldest week of the year.

    Anya2018-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely sea views, all you need for a Cornish getaway. Many thanks.

    Jonny2018-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time in Polzeath over the Easter break and William was a great host! William and his caretaker Mary were very responsive and kind. The home was very well situated with great views along with plenty of space for our family of 5.

    Yann2016-04-06T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful old Cornish property. The views from this house are amazing and we all felt so at home here. The house is well equipped with everything you will need. Although it is very old and in need of a bit of TLC this place is well worth the visit and will create great memories for you. It’s a close walk to the beach, sea views, comfortable beds and Mary the caretaker is very welcoming.

    Jenna2018-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • A property full of character that matches the host's frank description. It's an absolute gem, nestled above the coastal path between the surfing mecca of Polzeath and calmer waters of Daymer Bay, with both shops and rugged nature located close by. The location is the key attribute here, whether you're sat indoors observing the rabbits running around on the lawn, enjoying the sea breeze in the garden, or down the track on the cliffs watching the waves crash against the rocks. Hosts are communicative and there's a sense of personality in the rather extensive guidelines/instructions for guests. The faint-hearted may prefer summer months as the house has no central heating, although it's perfectly possible to keep warm throughout the year as the host explains.

    Giles2017-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a lovely week at St Petroc. The picture you see is the view from the main window, a constant delight - kestrels go past, the clouds and sky ever-changing. So great for us city-dwellers. William was totally honest about the house being 'shabby chic', but it was comfortable and homely, clean and loved. It's a great base to explore the area, and your calves will be super strong by the end of your visit if you walk to the coast path or Polzeath from the house. It was a treat for us having the piano as we're all musicians who don't get to play together very often. We also ran or walked each day along the coast path to Daymer Bay. Kind of wished it had been summer as we'd have swum a lot too. Communication was always good - friendly and polite. The housekeeper was very helpful and friendly too. The worst bit was leaving on Friday.

    Ally2016-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • St Petroc is at the top of the hill above Polzeath and had wonderful views across the Camel Estuary to Stepper Point. There are great walks from the doorstep down to the coastal path. We were warm and comfortable with the night storage heaters and plug-in fan heaters. If you are a larger party (we were 8) be warned that there is only one functioning bathroom with an electric shower. Kitchen small but well equipped. Lovely garden leaping with rabbits.

Close to Rock & Padstow, our self-contained annexe is the perfect place from which to explore Cornwall. 3 minutes drive to Polzeath Beach, Rock Beach & Daymer Bay and 1 mile to the golf courses at St Enodoc & The Point. Two pubs in walking distance. Although attached to our house, the cottage is completely separate with its own entrances and small outdoor space.
Large open plan living area with wood-burning fire, TV & DVD, sofas, sound system with i-pod lead, well-equipped kitchen (cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge, microwave, etc) dining table and chairs. Upstairs there is a large master bedroom with kingsize bed & TV and second bedroom with 3 single beds. The bathroom has a Victorian style roll-top bath, loo, handbasin and heated towel rail. In addition, there is a warm water outdoor surfer's shower. All the rooms have very efficient electric heating.
The cottage is in a quiet village location. Views across fields from the master bedroom.
  • The house is extremely cosy. The weather was cold and wet when we stayed so it was lovely to have an open fire. The amenities available were fantastic and the house is extremely clean and well decorated. The only thing is me and my brother (both 6'2") were a bit big for the single beds and bath but that wasn't a big issue.

    Julian2016-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Little Meadows is in the perfect location to explore the north Cornwall coast and has been thoughtfully equipped. We had a fab break relaxing with the kids and dog. Rupert and Sam were great hosts and we would recommend a stay at this lovely Cornish home-from-home.

  • What a little gem! We loved the retro decor and the open plan living space. The log burner was a welcome touch as we're the tea, coffee and other essentials. We loved the thoughtful bottle of bubbly for our anniversary, thanks for your kind hospitality.

  • We stayed for two nights as we were going to a wedding. The location was perfect and the cottage exceeded our expectations. We had been left some initial suppliers to perk us up after our journey and they were very welcome. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed and more. Plentiful hot water for the old Victorian bathtub, really comfy beds and an information pack which had all we needed to know. We would certainly recommend this cottage to friends and family and would love to visit again in the future.

  • We stayed here for a short break in early June with our 8 month old daughter. The cottage was really well nice and spacious, interior decor very cool. It had all the amenities we needed (even baby bottles and things we may have needed for the baby if we'd have forgotten them etc) lovely comfy bed, perfect base for exploring Rock, Padstow and the rest of Cornwall. Sam and Rupert were great hosts, we were made to feel very welcome and left to our own devices but they were always on hand if we had any questions and they left us Croissants and clotted cream for breakfast. We had a great time and will definitely visit again!

A small b&b within only a stone's throw of the harbour and in the midst of the shops and restaurants of this lovely Cornish harbour town. We only let one double bedroom with an ensuite cloakroom with bathroom adjacent. Our price includes breakfast.
Great location in the middle of town close to shops, pubs, and restaurants.
  • Peter and Ann were very welcoming hosts - they were there when we arrived to welcome us. The room was great - on the first floor, very private, close to the town activities -- which can also make things a bit noisy, but that's to be expected in a bustling town. They were very helpful with advice on things to see and do in the area. Ann gave us a very good tip on a spectacular walk.

    New2015-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • We felt very welcome and enjoyed our stay. Peter and Pam are a very lovely couple and can recommend them to everyone. The room is middle in the city, but quiet over night. Breakfast was big and really nice.

This delightful stone cottage is the perfect bolt-hole for two. Located just outside the market town of Wadebridge, you are ideally placed to explore the rugged North Cornwall coastline or enjoy one of many top class restaurants in Padstow and Rock.
Pawton Barn with its solid stone walls and rural location is your perfect retreat. Recently renovated, the living room has everything you need for a relaxing stay with limestone flooring, a large comfortable sofa, and 50" TV for those nights spent in front of the wonderful wood-burner. The kitchen is open onto the dining area, great for chatting while you cook. There is a separate modern shower room which has under-floor heating.... a real luxury. A separate utility cupboard houses the washing machine. The galleried bedroom, with its king sized bed nestles cosily between the sloping eaves. Perfect to gaze at the stars through the velux windows.
Pawton Barn is minutes from the market town of Wadebridge. This ancient town has all the facilities you will need including a raft of independent shops including butchers , bakers and a fishmongers. The town is also serviced by Tesco's and Lidl's . Wadebridge is located in the Camel River Estuary which can be fully appreciated from the Camel Trail. You can walk the trail to Padstow or Bodmin or hire a bike and enjoy a well deserved fish and chips overlooking the harbour. The surfing beach of Polzeath is about 15 minutes drive but there are also sheltered sandy bays closer on the Padstow side of the estuary. The world famous Eden project is about half an hours drive. Indeed Wadebridge is well placed for exploring most of Cornwall's delights.
  • Beautiful location - very quiet yet not far from places to visit. Perfect space for 2. Bedroom headspace is very restricted but exactly as described so we knew beforehand. Shower is superb! Everything provided for a short or long stay although we didn’t eat in really (except to enjoy the cream tea Dominic left for us!).

    Tracey2018-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • Had a fantastic stay at Pawton barn. Lovely little place for 2 in the Cornish countryside, very cosy with the log burner in winter. Close to Padstow and only a few minutes drive from wadebridge with all local amenities. Dominic organised safe clean bike storage for us and was extremely welcoming, bringing a cream tea on arrival! Extremely helpful when we asked and easy to contact. Wonderful little place for two for relaxing Cornish break!

    Fiona2018-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • The place is clean, tidy and perfect for stay in. The location is also great and me and my girlfriend had a lovely time. Dominic made sure our stay was perfect.

  • Excellent accommodation! Well equipped, good value and many great little personal touches. Good rural location with easy access to most of Cornwall. Would happily return!

  • This is a lovely cottage that is perfect for a couple looking for a quiet time. The cottage comes with everything you need. The lounge is comfortable and the bed is really comfy. Although the cottage is in a quiet location it is close to the main road making it easy to explore Cornwall.

    David2018-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Our host was welcoming and friendly, the cottage was set in beautiful rural scenery with easy access to local amenities. The cottage lived up to and exceeded our expectations as was pictured in the Airbnb listing. It was well equipped with a lot of thought given to the guests comfort and needs and we couldn't honestly find any fault with our stay. and the facilities covered every eventuality. His family were as welcoming with a recommendation to a wonderful local restaurant (the Sagor) and some good local information to enhance our stay.

    Edward2016-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Would highly recommend a stay at Pawton Barn. It is situated in a lovely quiet location with lots of things to do and amenities nearby. The barn was everything that we needed for our holiday and we wouldn't hesitate in returning for a future holiday.

Small Studio Apartment, above Jo Downs Handmade Glass in Padstow. Centrally located in the heart of Padstow. Kitchenette for basic cooking only. This is a one room bedsit with a shower room /toilet. The majority of guests have found this convenient but a small number of very tall guests have found the toilet difficult to use easily.
Located above the Jo Downs Handmade Glass gallery at the corner of Middle Street and Church Street.
Padstow has established itself over the past few decades as a go to location for holiday makers visiting Cornwall. With award winning restaurants and Rick Stein's Bistro it is very popular food lovers. A lovely fishing village harbour makes it a popular picture postcard destination.
  • The location in the heart of Padstowe was unbeatable for the shops, harbour and restaurants however as it was opposite a pub it did get a little noisy later in the evenings when we returned from eating out. On the whole the place was clean and comfortable and we would be happy to return and recommend staying there ( p.s. beware the resident seagull neighbour who will happily take an ice-cream or other edibles straight out of your hand!!!)

    Natalie2018-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • A nice clean little apartment that is in a great location centre of Padstow. Good value and would be happy to use again next time we stay in Padstow.

  • Eoin's studio flat is a great place to stay to explore Padstow and the surrounding area. It is compact, but the use of space is good, with distinct bedroom and living room/kitchen areas, and a separate bathroom. It was clean and comfortable, with convenient access at check-in via a key safe. Eoin was quick to respond to queries and also provided details of useful local amenities. It is in a lovely location, with plenty of cafes, restaurants and pubs close by.

    Chris2018-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent stay, great location and good correspondence throughout from Eoin. Thanks again.

  • We loved Mark's cabin. The views are amazing and the cabin is so interesting. Mark welcome information was spot on and was able to help us sort local activities. Definitely would recommend a stay.

    Sujay2018-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Mark's place is well thought out and designed, it really makes the most of the space and is set in a lovely location. We had no issues during our stay, but all questions we had prior to arrival were answered quickly. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

    Jay2018-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Mark's place is a great place to get away from it all. There is pretty much everything you need in the container and the space is really well thought out. While there I walked along the South west coastal path which you can pick up about a 10minute walk away. All of Mark's information is very clear and the container is easy to find (even on a dark January night). I will definitely be booking again soon and have already recommended the space to friends. As a solo traveller I also felt completely safe and secure.

  • Mark is such a great host. The Box is such an amazing space, that has been designed in such a creative and practical way. The view is incredible, the layout of the Box allows for comfortable living and with the luxury of quirky details like under the bed storage, mini fridge, the bottle lights and the usb charger on the breakfast bar. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and really didn't want to leave.

  • My boyfriend and I absolutely loved staying here for a quiet weekend away. The location is amazing - waking up with a sea view from the bed is pretty special! • We absolutely loved our stay at Pawton Mill Cottage. Such a beautiful, serene location and the cottage was lovely. We travelled with our 9 month old, and it was really useful having the travel cot and highchair already there waiting for us! Would highly recommend for anyone travelling to this part of Cornwall. We were very sad to leave!

Beds are comfy too. The location is deep in the valley and the mill is located down several steps with a pretty patio area.

Great finishing touches to the cottage including a selection of DVDs, books and games to keep everyone occupied! Thoroughly recommend to anyone hoping to visit the area, I can only imagine it would be even nicer come the summer months!

Great value caravan accommodation for up to 6 ppl 5 minute walk from a beautiful quiet Cornish beach. Minutes away from the world famous Padstow harbour and well placed to explore the stunning county of Cornwall. Child friendly facilities.
The caravan is on a very high quality site with full amenities
  • Jeanette’s place is so homely and comfy. It’s in the perfect spot for long coastal walks around Harlyn, minutes from the beach and only 3 miles from Padstow. Exceptionally clean and well equipped. The site is perfect for families but also ideal for couples. This was our second visit and hope to visit again.

Location is great - 2 mins walk to Harlyn Bay, plenty of beaches within 5/10 mins drive. A gorgeous long coastal walk to Padstow. Padstow is 5/10 min drive. Day trips to Minack theatre, Lands End, St Michaels Mount. Would stay here again, thank you ☺️. Jeanette also left a bottle of fizz and flowers which added a lovely touch.

  • Great place. Really comfy home from home, well equipped with everything you could need for a family holiday. The site is in a lovely spot with direct access onto the beach although be prepared for lots of winding country lanes oh and limited internet access. Word of warning about the site when we arrived reception didn’t seem to be expecting us despite being told that they would and that there would be a welcome pack for us. Make sure you have a record of your booking info and Jeanette phone number in case they need to contact her.

very quiet location always plenty of parking !
  • Had a very enjoyable stay. The apartment is modern, spacious and very clean. It is only a short walk into Wadebridge for a good choice of pubs and restaurants, while also a good base to explore a number of places further afield in Cornwall. Paul was a great host, gave us a number of helpful tips and it was good to know that he was available should there have been any problems, although we didn't experience any. I would happily recommend staying here.

  • Perfect and very spacious apartment. Lovely modern design and everything you need for a stay on the north coast. Totally recommend!

  • The apartment is lovely, brand new and spacious. Great water pressure in the shower too. Paul was helpful with the booking but the directions to the property are not particularly clear. Do not use the postcode provided for the property as this will not lead you to the property. The property is on an unmarked road which is the first turn after the Premier Inn on the main road. It is not on Trevanson Road.

    Alexandra2016-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely flat, slightly difficult to find if you're following gps but Paul had pre-empted this and was nice enough to drop us a message giving us clear instructions. Clean and had all you needed for a comfortable stay. Only slight problem we had was figuring out the dishwasher, we couldnt get it to work so went out to buy washing up liquid to wash things by hand as there wasnt any there. Couple of hours later it started by itself, so it worked in the end but some instructions would have helped.

    Lauren2018-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fantastic stay at Paul's apartment. Perfect location to explore north Cornwall and the beautiful beaches.

  • Excellent modern flat, which was well furnished, decorated and clean as per the pictures. Perfect space for a couple and well located just off the A39 giving easy access to different parts of Cornwall. • We had a lovely time staying for a long weekend at the apartment, it's excellently positioned to explore north Cornwall. You can pop into Wadebridge to rent a bike and cycle the coast (all the way to Padstow and beyond with no roads at all), or go further afield by car. The apartment was new, clean and had everything we needed. Thanks for having us!

  • We had a fantastic stay at Trevansyn Heights. The apartment is brand new, extremely comfortable and well equipped - very clean and tidy too! It's in a great location just a 10 minute walk from the centre of Wadebridge, and right by a big Tesco for supplies. Paul was very organised and made us feel very welcome - highly recommend staying here!

One Bedroom Apartment, above Jo Downs Handmade Glass in Padstow. Centrally located in the heart of Padstow. Lounge/Kitchenette for basic cooking only.
  • Great apartment in a great location. Decorated and equipped to a high standard, parking close by in one of the car parks. Would definitely stay here again.

  • This flat is in a perfect location right in the centre of Padstow and a perfect place to stay to explore the local area. Parking in the farm at the top of Padstow is best value we paid £12.50 for 5 days parking! The flat has everything you need for a self contained stay. Everything works perfectly and the popular restaurants and bars are right on your doorstep. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and we will be recommending this place to friends. Great communication from Eion.

  • We had a lovely stay and the apartment was small but perfect and in a great location. We had everything we needed.

  • This is a lovely apartment in Padstow centrally located near the historic harbour and surrounded by lovely shops. The bus stop is close by and there is an easy walk to beautiful beaches. There are beautiful pieces of glass artwork on the walls of the apartment and the artists shop is just downstairs. the apartment is very clean and well equipped for self catering.

    Leona2018-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was tucked away in a quiet street but very close to the harbour. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a very enjoyable three night stay in Padstow. Eoin was very helpful and we would definitely return in future.

    Kim2018-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Could not be better. In many respects I'd rather not review and encourage more people to go because it was such a WONDERFUL apartment in the best location that I don't want to have to share!! Facilities were clean and well kept, the arrangements pre arrival meant we didn't need to keep to a specific time and Eoin was very helpful. I will definitely be going back very soon!!!

Tucked away in a secluded spot less than a mile away from historic Padstow, our exclusive pods have it’s own kitchen and dining area, shower and W/C, comfortable double bed & sofa bed. The area extends outside with a large decked area for you to enjoy the long summer evenings or cosy on up to your own firepit. Please see listing for cooking, linen and BBQ packs. Please be aware that the slope to the pods is quite steep, but it does have a handrail to assist you.
Within walking distance from the popular harbour town of Padstow and Rock and located in a wooded valley next to a former mill house, each glamping pod has it’s own kitchen and dining area, shower and W/C, comfortable double bed & sofa bed. The area extends outside with a large decked area for you to enjoy the long summer evenings or cosy on up to your own firepit. At the end of a long farm track it is a delightful environment for children and animals, free from passing traffic. You can enjoy a communal stone burning pit where you can sit and watch the evening sun going down in a sheltered spot, the kids will love toasting marshmallows. Magnificent beaches are no more than 2 miles away where you can ride the Atlantic rollers or simply walk along the coastal path and view the stunning scenery. There are wonderful walks from our properties which are surrounded by beautiful countryside.
  • A very clean and modern pod situated in a lovely tranquil wooded area in a low sheltered dip. The walk down to the pod from where you park the car is very short but very steep so caution should be given. During my stay the other pod opposite was not in use making my stay very peaceful. Checking into the pod is very easy with full details provided before arrival which I found very convient. The same for checking out, very easy. In better weather the option to sit around the fire pit and have a BBQ with friends would be great. I was disappointed that no cutlery/cooking or crockery is provided, even the basics, unless a pack is hired for £65 but I think this may have been an oversight on my part when booking. Do not rely on Wi-Fi. I was given 2 options but neither worked and phone signal was very poor. The purpose of my stay was to undertake a walk to Harlyn Bay along the coastal path from Padstow harbour -17.6m there and back. My walk started from the pod so I walked to Padstow harbour via the main road. If you like challeging walks I would recommend, the coastal scenery is spectacular. There's little pedestrian walkway on the road from accommodation to Padstow but it can be done with care and takes about 30mins. There is also a large Tescos just 5min drive from the accommodation which is very convenient. In summary, would I stay again, absolutely.

    Nicola2018-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • Had a fantastic stay at Primrose. The cabin was in a great location, nice and quiet, rural, and a walkable distance to Padstow (about 30 mins). The cabin was cute, very comfortable, well equipped and had everything we needed for a short break (there was an additional charge for linen, kitchenware and BBQ stuff, but we took our own). Very efficient and easy service booking etc. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

    Merisa2017-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • This place is great. The pods are clean and comfy and a fantastic location.

Little Rilla is just outside St Merryn village, just two minutes by car. Offering pubs, wine bars and shops. The popular Padstow harbour is a ten minute car journey. Little Rilla is blessed with 'seven bays for seven days', meaning you have seven beaches to visit all within a five - ten minute drive. You really are spoilt for choice with arguably some of the most beautiful beaches and cliff faces in England. Fab for surfing, dog walking, eating, drinking and a choice of idyllic cycle routes.
Little Rilla contains one double bedroom, seperate bathroom with shower. Open planned fully functioning kitchen with dining and living room in one. There is space for a travel cot and camp beds if you wish to bring small children. An enclosed garden is attached to the annexe, perfect for a BBQ, enjoying the sun or reading a book in a peaceful environment. Our cottage is next door, but you are left to enjoy Little Rilla, we want people to feel at home .
St.Merryn is a short drive, providing all the amenities you need, wine bar, village pub, chinese takeaway, a number of notable restaurants, a well stocked shop and delicious deli bakery. A Taxi service is available. A short walk up Little Rillas private road, you will find a bar and restaurant at Atlantic Bays Holiday Park. Other places to visit are the Eden project, Lost gardens of Heligan, Minack theatre and for the children, Camel Creek is a short drive .
  • Lovely little space, fantastic shower and cosy decor

  • Little Rilla is a beautiful small (but spacious) cottage that is decorated very nicely. We arrived late so unsurprisingly Andy and Ali were unable to meet us but their was a handy guide with everything we needed to know about the area. Would recommend to anyone.

  • Amazing house in a very relaxing area...close to 7 beautiful beaches...great host. Very clean and tidy house...close to many nice restaurants

  • We loved everything about Little Rilla - a little gem.❤️ Especially enjoyed breakfast in the sunny garden and coming back to the peace and tranquility after long days out.Great location in an area of natural beauty seven bays for seven days - wonderful cliff top coastal walks and amazing sunsets. We appreciated the recommendations for places to eat and enjoyed the ones we tried. We will return......Thank you Ali and Andy.

  • If you like a bit of peace and quiet with at least 7 different beaches on your doorstep then this is the place. It's a cosy warm delightful hideaway. Great communication from the hosts but left on your own to just enjoy.

  • Litte Rilla was absolutely beautiful; decorated freshly with lots of seaside themes in muted colours. comfortable, cosy, very clean and everything you would need for a short stay. Situated at the end of a caravan park, it was easy to find and is within easy reach of all the beautiful beaches and coves of the area. Our hosts were friendly yet discreet and had thought to leave us some yummy biscuits and a pint of milk to get us started. Would definitely love to visit again.

    Elaine2017-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best and most beautiful spots we ever where in Cornwall. Such a lovely and individual cottage situated next to several beaches and to Padstow. We will come back again. Thank you Ali for being such a helpful and friendly host.

    Nadine2017-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived at Little Rilla to find chocolate shortbread and a pint of milk along with a plentiful supply of tea and coffee, a great start! Little Rilla is a lot bigger than it shows in the photos and it was spotlessly clean. Lots of great touches like blankets and cushions for the lovely outside seating area and dvd's books and games for you to use. Another great bonus for us was that the property was very dog friendly! We had two dogs that we were able to bring without question. St Merryn is a great place to start your exploring of this wonderful part of North Cornwall. The area is called ' Severn Bays for Severn Days' unfortunately as we only stayed for two nights we only saw a few but what we did see was stunning. Ali and Andy are on hand should you want anything but really leave you to enjoy the space too. We will definitely be back!!!

  • Great place, great location!

    Rob2018-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • Wow this little cottage is amazing. The decor is very stylish and the location was great for being able to see alot of Cornwall. The little Quarryman pub that is in front was very handy and lovely meals.

    Marie2018-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Very comfortable and pleasant cottage. The Quarryman pub was great for evening meals and Padstow beer. The location is great for exploring North Cornwall but Edmonton is quite a way out from Padstow. We walked it in 90 mins one morning but used the car every other day. Cornwall is getting very crowded in the Summer. We knew it would be but the current media coverage is justified. I would avoid the main tourist traps....Tintagel etc and try and find more out of the way places. The beaches are up there with the best in the world .

The room is the larger of two rooms available is in a unique, one year old architect-designed eco house with superb views over Polzeath Beach and Pentire Point beyond. The beach is accessed by private path through the garden and woodland grounds. Featuring ultra modern minimalist décor with a combination of polished concrete, stainless steel and maple surfaces, Dry Creek House offers luxurious accommodation of the very highest order to clients looking for the perfect break.
Bedroom 2 is situated at the far end of the guest wing in Dry Creek House. It has a large, comfortable double bed and a fabulous en-suite bathroom with digitally controlled rainwater power shower system. There is under-floor heating in both rooms, and the bedroom has triple glazed windows overlooking the beach. One wall has full-length maple cupboards for our guests to store their belongings. For families or small groups, a second adjacent twin/double bedroom is available, also with its own en-suite bathroom and sizable storage cupboards. Tea, coffee, TV & Wifi, linen and towels are all provided.
Polzeath Beach not only offers some of the best surfing in Cornwall, it is also recognised as a safe beach for families. It has surf shops, several surf and adventure schools, an ice cream parlour and a small supermarket. But if beach life is not your thing, the local area offers a vast array of amenities to keep the most demanding holiday-makers busy. Walks along the Coastal Path or along the dunes to Rock, golf at St Enodoc and the Point, cycling along the Camel Trail, a spa & outdoor pool at the St Moritz. Rock & Padstow (by ferry) are within easy reach. For foodies there are four Michelin starred restaurants within 6 miles, and some truly wonderful local pubs for less expensive eating out. There are several local art galleries and the gloriously retro Regal cinema in Wadebridge is just 6 miles away. Or you can head East to Port Isaac, a picturesque fishing village and the set for Doc Martin. Full-on adventure breaks or just pure relaxation, our local area has it all.
  • Beautifully designed home in a perfect location. The view of the beach from the bedroom window is excellent and Maxine and her family are lovely and even shared local tips. Can't recommend this place enough.

  • We had a picture perfect couple of days staying in Dry Creek House and feel we really lucked out with our reservation - I can’t imagine anywhere else could top it. Maxine and John were incredibly welcoming and the room was fantastic for us - peacheful location, beautiful views out over Polzeath beach, lovely wet room, hot tub, and a picturesque 2 minute amble down to all the restaurants etc of Polzeath. The best bit of all though had to be Hendrix the dog - if you stay, you will realise why I say that. He is utterly adorable!

    Amy2018-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Such a fantastic location! And spotlessly clean! Thank you!

    Laura2018-06-21T00:00:00Z
  • Maxine and John were great hosts with warm welcome to the house. They even sent us a message before we got there with their recommended restaurants around the area. The house was very modern with a great view over Polzeath. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. We were so impressed by how airy and light the whole house was in the day time. The bathroom was very big with a great powerful shower with a glass ceiling. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and come back!

The perfect place for a cosy getaway in popular Rock, North Cornwall... Stylishly furnished and sitting in its own corner of our garden, the cabin is within easy walking distance of local amenities, beaches and fabulous eateries and is the ideal spot from which to explore the stunning North Cornish coast. Key Features: * Linen and towels provided (not beach towels) * Nespresso Coffee Machine and tea making facilities * Enclosed garden * Wifi * On demand TV * Ample driveway parking
The garden room is all on one level with a small step up from the path to the decking. Peaceful, spacious bedroom with a comfy king size bed. Electric shower and heated towel rail in the bathroom. Drinks station with mini fridge, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine. TV on demand (internet channels only). Plenty of parking in our main driveway with a path beside our house leading to the garden room.
Rock is a lovely place to walk around and has a great bakery and deli where you can pick up breakfast (just a 5 min walk). The newsagent is a further 5-10 minute walk if you fancy a newspaper with your breakfast. There are lots of options for eating out, many within a 30 minute walk. We recommend The Mariners pub (co-owned by Nathan Outlaw and Sharp's Brewery) for Sunday roast, an evening meal or just a drink on the balcony overlooking the estuary. Sharp's Brewery is a 10 minute walk away and they offer tutored beer tastings for £10 a head. There are plenty of active outdoor sports on offer locally, from golf to water skiing, paddleboarding, kayaking and surfing and plenty of options for coastal walks, fishing trips or a relaxing spa treatment.
  • Lovely place for a couple stay close to Rock. Roughly 15-20 minutes to Rock ferry port which leaves every 15 minutes to Padstow. Great powerful shower! Better than many hotel bathrooms I’ve stayed in. Bed was a bit soft for my liking but that’s just personal preference! Nice touch with Nespresso coffee machine and mini fridge. Communication with our host was minimal once we had arrived, but they were available if we needed them! Very clean and cosy! Great value when comparing this to other places to stay in the area. Thank You!

  • A private room in a garden - gave us the privacy we like. And the ability to come and go as we like. Plenty parking on site. A Very comfortable bed, tastefully decorated room, lovely en-suite bathroom in the lovely village of Rock with amenities nearby and easy ferry access to Padstow, many choices of eateries, lovely beaches nearby.

One of the most iconic buildings in Padstow, Marble Arch Cottage is truly unique. Think bijou, petite and memorable. The accommodation is laid out over two floors, both set above street level so whilst you are close to the heart of the town, you'll find the cottage feels secluded and private. Step into Marble Arch passageway and then slip in through the cottages's narrow door and you will immediately feel in another world. Well appointed and cosy the Cottage is close to all that Padstow has to offer including great eateries and spectacular walks and fantastic beaches.
Great for Couples, or couples with baby (no cot at property). One small dog possible but downstairs please.
Great for foodies as you probably know! Best to pre book Steins, Prawn on the Lawn and Paul Ainsworth's. Do not miss the walk to Hawkers cove or Padstow farm shop and Trevone.
  • Great location, and a great little pad in the heart of buzzy padstow. We used this as our base and spent most of our time visiting the local area, beaches and beauty spots.(4day stopover) We were not disappointed. Although parking in padstow is rather limited the local knowledge from Charlotte helped enormously and we managed to park our car most evenings without drama. (Free) I can imagine during the school holiday and height of summer it could be an issue but there are several large public car parks within easy walking distance from the base, so not really an issue at all. Loved Cornwall , loved padstow and loved this little hang out!

    Lloyd2018-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Very cozy and charming cottage with a superb location! Charlotte was very quick to respond to any queries and we were able to check in early using the keysafe lock which was ideal after an early 5 hour drive to get there. The cottage was very clean on arrival and had all of the necessary amenities. The only word of warning would be for anyone very tall and/or planning to do much cooking during their stay, the kitchen is well equipped but a very tight squeeze. Overall would recommend and would stay again!

    Alicia2018-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • Marble Arch Cottage is simply adorable and magical. It is perfect for solo travellers like me but it would be awesome for a romantic getaway for a couple. I found Charlotte to be so helpful around he booking and for things to do whilst I was down and I loved the flowers and shortbread left for me. It is perfectly situated for exploring Padstow - just a very short walk down the hill to the harbour. I parked at the Link carpark and simply left my car there the whole time and just explored by foot. It is an short walk back to and from the cottage from the carpark but be prepared to work those muscles as there are steps and inclines on the way back to the carpark. I could not have been happier with my choice of accommodation and I would love to go back

    Penelope2018-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • An absolute gem of a place for two in lovely Padstow. A quirky well presented cottage in a perfect location close to Town. Good facilities and very comfortable.

    Dave2018-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cottage which is small but perfectly formed! Very clean and stylish inside. Located very close to town so easy walking distance to restaurants etc. Easy communication with Charlotte and key in a handy lock box. We had a lovely stay and would recommend booking here!

  • Ah we loved staying! Myself, my husband & our 6 month old daughter. The place was beautifully clean & tidy with lovely unique touches & well styled. The space is small but has been so well designed with great storage & hooks for everything so you can keep yourself tidy & make the most of the areas. It was a bit tight with the travel cot in the bedroom, but it still worked. Great to have a high chair & a stair gate ( not that we needed it as she’s not in the move yet) Charlotte gave us tips for parking & we always found a space. So close to shops & harbour! A wonderful stay & Lana had the best 1st holiday! Thanks Charlotte! Xxx

  • The bungalow is in an excellent location and the parking facilities are an absolute bonus. Very easy to leave the car and walk to Padstow harbour. It is light and airy and has a good view from the dining area. It has an outside seating area but unfortunately couldn't make use of this as seating not provided which was a shame, as it is a very sunny spot. Overall had an enjoyable stay.

  • Fantastic property within walking distance of all Padstow has to offer. Clean, quiet with lovely views and all you need for a weekend in Cornwall.

    Sarah2018-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed with my partner and 6 month old. The house and the views were great and it was in a perfect location for a short walk into Padstow. The local tips that Rebecca provided also helped us to have a great stay! Still some work to be done on the house, but this didn’t impact our stay at all...we would definitely recommend and stay again ourselves!

    Andy2018-05-11T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely light modern space, very tastefully decorated and in a great location just a short stroll down to the harbour.

    Alex2017-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • A great airbnb property. ideal location with less than ten mimutes walk to the harbour with pubs and restaurants for all tastes. The picture windows really make the most of the view over the river night and day. when we return to Padstow will try and book again.

    Chris2018-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous and very stylish accommodation only a short walk from the harbour. The views are lovely and the accommodation is very clean. We couldn’t have asked for much better.

This lovely country cottage is tucked away in a quiet spot just outside the village of St. Minver. It's near Rock, Polzeath and Port Isaac on the beautiful North Cornwall coast and is close to Beaches and great walks. Ideal for families or couples looking for a quiet getaway.
A 19th century stone cottage, formerly part of a mill, located in a peaceful and secluded position. Millstream is a lovely holiday cottage for 4 people (plus a baby) and offers comfortable accommodation with many traditional features combined with the latest modern conveniences including WIFI. The cottage has single level accommodation and is furnished and equipped to a high standard with a modern kitchen & bathroom. There is an enclosed child friendly south facing lawned garden and patio as well as lots of parking.
Coast/Beach: Rock, Porthilly, Daymer Bay, Polzeath and Port Isaac are a 3 to 4 mile drive away so offer a good choice. Rock is famous for sailing and water sports and the ferry goes from here to Padstow. Daymer Bay is a large beach with safe swimming and sand dunes. Polzeath has many rock pools (some large enough to swim in at low tide) is fun for surfers and has a lively feel with shops and cafés. Travel: The use of a car is recommended in order to access the area fully. The nearest railway station is Bodmin Parkway about 15 miles away. Newquay airport is about 20 miles away. Further Details: St Minver is well placed for easy access to local shops in Rock and Polzeath and the larger town of Wadebridge is 10 minutes away by car. Here there are is a wider variety of shops, supermarkets and banks. The area is very well served for restaurants - Rick Stein has several in Padstow - we particularly enjoy The Waterfront and Café India in Polzeath, St Kew Inn and No 1 in Rock. Of course there are many others too numerous to mention. The ferry runs from Rock to Padstow all year and in the evening a water taxi is available to Padstow restaurants. Fishing and pleasure trips are run from the harbour. The Camel Trail (the old railway line) is fun for cyclists. It runs alongside the estuary from Padstow to Wadebridge and on to Bodmin and bikes can be hired locally. The quaint coastal village of Port Isaac (location for Doc Martin) is about 15 mins away by car. There are lots of things to do in the area - for example the Eden Project, Falmouth Maritime Museum and the legends of King Arthur at Tintagel.
  • Lovely cottage. Log burner was a right touch. All the facilities there what you could need great location only a few mins drive away from coves bays and towns. Very pleased with our stay would highly recommend to others.

  • We enjoyed a lovely stay in this cottage. Great location - we enjoyed listening to the stream and the birds nearby, and watching the squirrels on the patio! The open plan living space was ideal for our young family. Despite the weather outside being freezing cold, the cottage was warm and the wood burner was fantastic at making it extra cosy in the evenings. Just perfect for our little getaway.

    Zoe2018-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Just had a four night break in this lovely cottage. If you like to be away from it all then this is perfect for you. The cottage has everything you need, a few tips though ; make sure you bring logs for the log burner if you are staying in the winter months it really is a nice , cosy touch. Also bring dishwasher tablets and washing powder. The bins are behind the gate at the top of the drive at the entrance, so you can recycle your rubbish quite easily. There are some lovely local pubs that do great food, just a few minutes drive away and Padstow, Port Isaac and Boscastle are a must visit. We have had a fantastic stay thank you

    Laura2018-01-18T00:00:00Z

  • What a lovely place to stay! It really was a home from home and we all felt settled from the very first night. The fire was a really lovely touch and we were perfectly located for exploring North Cornwall. Would thoroughly recommend this destination to everyone. Set amongst a few converted farm buildings, this remains a very peaceful and relaxing location that is well equipped and very homely.

  • Linda is a friendly and welcoming host. The house is clean, well located in a quiet neighborhood , perfect to visit Cornwall coast (Tintagel). She was flexible with the check in and also was very helpful with a quick response. The room is quite big and we really enjoyed the house also having a breakfast in the garden, even thought the breakfast was not included , Linda was so kind to offer us a cup of tea and milk. I really recommend Linda's house.

Explore the local beaches, picturesque places, and coastal paths. Situated on Dinham Farm Campsite near Polzeath. The toilet and shower blocks are very close to the Airstream and are well kept. At 31 feet long it is a great space in which to live with a fully fitted kitchen including hot and cold running water. There is a double bedroom, ample storage and a comfortable lounge area. Polzeath or Rock are just 10 minutes away as is Wadebridge. Padstow is close too.
I have refitted this amazing space myself which I live in during the summer whilst I run my Coasteering and Kayaking business from the farm. Check out Cornish Coasteering for more info about our trips. When my Airstream is for rent I am working overseas as a SwimTrek guide running open water Swimming holidays.
  • Really great place to stay and would really recommend. It's really comfy inside and everything you need (the loo is about 50m away). Only thing to point out is it takes over an hour to walk to rock so you really do have to drive everywhere. A taxi to Padstow is £50 return. A beautiful spot and a different place to stay; perfect Airbnb.

    Ed2017-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Coll’s Airstream is fantastic! First of all the location is perfect for exploring the area - close to Wadebridge and the camel trail, and short drives to Polzeath and Padstow, and further afoot still only 30ish mins down to Newquay. It’s in a quiet campsite in a lovely clean field, with nice clean toilets and showers just a short walk away. The Airstream itself is lovely inside, the bed is comfy and the kitchen is well stocked. There are plenty of towels! We also loved the use of the BBQ and deck outside. It feels luxurious to have a TV on a campsite! The whole place was perfect (especially when you are lucky with the weather) it’s a great compromise between camping and the luxury of all the home comforts provided here. Coll was helpful via message and all the instructions were comprehensive and easy to follow. We will definitely be back!

  • This is a great caravan ! Clean, spacious but cozy, it's well equipped without being fussy and sited in a quiet corner of a very nice camp site which is in a very beautiful part of north Cornwall. The short walk to the hot showers and toilets wasn't any trouble . Visitors are well placed to visit Padstow, Rock and surrounding area . We really enjoyed cycling the Camel trail and just being on the site reading and watching the wildlife outside the caravan ....we had a relaxing time and hope to return ! Recommended ! Thank you Coll!

  • Amazing time and area. Perfect for quality family time or stay with friends. Surrounding area is full of any activities you might want. Absolutely loved it P.S Toilets and showers are separate but very well maintained, didint have any discomfort regarding that :)

  • Great value for money, original and clean Airstream in quiet secluded area of a campsite. Tea and other essentials were very handy, also cleaning supplies available. Communication was great. Would recommend

  • The airstream is one of the coolest places we've stayed. So cozy and spacious and great facilities to cook and chill out. The location is beautiful too. There's so much to do in the surrounding areas and everything is really close by though I would recommend you have a car. Couldn't recommend staying in this place more - perfect!

Scarrabine farmhouse annex is in a beautiful, quiet coastal location. Easy free parking unlike Port Isaac! Amazing sea views and sunsets from the bedroom. Located just above Port Quin, 1 mile from Port Isaac (as the crow flys). Open plan barn conversion, spacious living area and lovely sunny outside seating area. 10 mins walk to Port Quin and the coastpath. 30 mins walk to Port Isaac on the inland footpath. 10 mins drive to the surf at Polzeath. A great base to explore either on foot or by car.
The Annexe comfortably accommodates two persons and the living area in particular is very spacious with two extra comfy sofas and a smart TV for chilled evenings or lazy afternoons. The bedroom is cosy with low attic style ceilings and great views. We are surrounded by green fields and sea views. Port Quin is a hidden gem in Cornwall which is the way we like it! There is a quiet road down to the harbour where you can enjoy your morning swim or trek out on to the coast path.
I love the fact that we are hidden away in the gem that is the Port Quin Valley, but still only a stones throw from Port Isaac, we are very close to lots of other great beaches and more popular places to visit, such as Polzeath,Padstow, Trebarwith,Tintagel, Boscastle etc etc! There is a great farm shop up the road 5 mons to n the car at St Endellion. There is also a little vintage van cafe down at the harbour from Easter-Nov. There is a really good bar and restaurant ( March - November) just up the hill at The Long Cross Hotel (5-10 mins walk). After Nov the closest pubs are in Port Isaac. The coast path is just down at Port Quin or there is an inland route to Port Isaac that takes around 30-40 minutes. The footpath starts 5 minutes walk up the road from Scarrabine (just past the portquinfarmholidays cottages)
  • We really enjoyed our Cornish mini-break at this adorable little cottage. It had everything we could possibly want in the kitchen and the underfloor heating made it a cosy retreat on a very cold and wild weekend. We arrived to a very welcome Cornish cream tea (thank you Sam and Doon) and really enjoyed watching life on the farm around us. The position is perfect for walking on the coast path or taking easier routes across the fields to Port Isaac or New Polzeath. A great spot.

  • A fantastic peaceful retreat set within rolling countryside. Amazing sunsets, hosts and sheep ! Clean, quaint and tidy. 5 stars from us !

  • We loved our stay at the annex. The place was perfect for our weekend away, it had everything we needed and was in a great location. Sam was a great host, he was very helpful when booking and provided lots of information about the area and how to get there. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a lovely break in Cornwall!

  • Our stay at the Annexe was great! We would highly recommend staying there, cosy and very comfortable. The personal touches, tulips and a cream tea in the kitchen on arrival, were very much appreciated! The countryside around was stunning. The coastal walk from Port Quin to Port Isaac was challenging but worth the effort to have lunch in Port Isaac! Our only sadness was that we didn’t get to see the lambs, will just have to go again! Thank you Sam and Doon for a great mini break!

    Jackie2018-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Super comfy hideaway in North Cornwall. Can't really fault the place at all! Sam's place was perfect for a few days of pottering about, eating, drinking and walking.

  • Sam and Doon's annex was clean, tidy and really spacious. They were excellent hosts and made the arrival arrangements clear and they were helpful. Their place is cosy and romantic and the kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom were well equipped, comfortable and perfect for our stay. We really enjoyed staying there and would highly recommend. Port Quin is a lovely place, very beautiful and a great place to explore the coastline from. The fields were always full of sheep and the views were great!

  • Really good caravan - everything you’d expect and on a quiet site with the bonus of a pool and new play area. We were there during Storm Michael and the caravan kept us warm, sheltered and entertained. Martin was a very good host - quick to respond to communications even during the stay (although the lack of reception delayed receipt). A lovely stay, we’ll be back...

  • Clean and well presented holiday let in a quiet holiday park. In easy traveling to a number of great beaches, and other holiday attractions. Highly recommended.

    Jeremy2017-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Martin's place meets the description, large space, cosy, well maintained etc. However there was not enough gas to see us through a 3 night stay in January and we were without hot water, heating and later gas for cooking. The caravan was not ready for our stay in this regard. After a conversation with the park's reception we were told visitors are not allowed in the month of January and we had to find alternative accommodation. We missed an evening and morning of a very short trip sorting these issues out. Can't fault correspondence from their friend, covering for Martin while he was away on holiday, who was very responsive. Martin subsequently has been very cooperative in communication since and given us a refund. We are still in discussion about the issue also. #honestreviews

  • Rosina is such a nice host, the dogs are very friendly and the breakfast was great. She offered us to use the shower downstairs as in the bathroom there is only a tub. Thank you so much!

    Verena2017-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great stay At Rosina's. The room had a stunning view overlooking the estuary, and the walk into Padstow along the camel trail was lovely. Rosina had recommendations for food as well as days out. I would definitely recommend the Quarryman inn. She was a great host and I never felt I was intruding (she even invited me to a dinner when she had friends over) and I would not hesitate to stay there again :) Thanks for a really great stay!

    Kimberley2017-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Rosina's house is ideally suited for exploring the North Cornish coast and beyond. We slept well and had a lovely breakfast.

    Yvonne2017-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Rosina's place is located in a beautiful location with views over the Camel estuary. A picture postcard Cornish farmhouse. The nearby pub did great food (20 min walk up the track and along road in nearby village, called Edmonton). Comfy bed and so quiet at night. Rosina was a great host and her breakfast was lovely. Even saw a wild rabbit sat with chickens by the garden gate as we left! Sad we could only stay the one night.

    Tyler2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place, Rosina is a perfect host and the breakfast was amazing!

    Tommaso2017-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • Roskear is set in the countryside in a beautiful old house with a lovely view across the river valley. Rosina was very welcoming and accommodating. We slept well and were treated to a delicious English breakfast in the mornings. We were also allowed to use the kitchen to make supper in the evenings. Rosina has 2 well behaved dogs that were very happy to receive attention from us but were not over-bearing. We can definitely recommend this establishment to other guests.

Situated at the edge of the popular seaside resort of Rock, ‘The Flat’ is a smart self-contained accommodation with brilliant access to the most stunning Cornish coast. The flat is on the end of our cottage, with its own private entrance and ample off street parking. The flat comprises of a double bedroom with open plan kitchen, dining, living space. A good pub just down the road and a short walk to local shops and the local beaches. The flat is accessed by means of a flight of concrete steps.
Your bedroom has a double bed with all bed linen and towels including a dressing table, built in wardrobes, bed side tables and lamps. The living space is an open plan kitchen, diner, lounge with views over the rear garden and countryside beyond and includes all the usual conveniences, fridge, microwave, oven, hob, kettle, Dolce Gusto coffee maker, toaster and all pots pans and cutlery/crockery. There is a larder with a selection teas, coffee’s, cereals and preserves. In the fridge will be milk, fruit juice and butter. We have tried to make our flat a home from home.
We are just one and a half miles from the golden beaches of Rock and Porthilly with ragged coastal path walks to the stunning Daymer Bay and on to the surf spot of Polzeath. A short ferry ride across the Camel Estuary lands you into the harbour of Padstow with a range of cafes, bars, pubs and top class restaurants and a five mile drive (or cycle from Padstow) brings you to the historic market town of Wadebridge with the main supermarkets and amenities. Cornwall offers endless country and coastal walking with hidden towns, villages and beauty spots to explore. It is very quiet and peaceful at night and during the winter months with the hustle and bustle starting during school holidays and the summer months.
  • Had a wonderful stay at Mary and Derrick's place. They were excellent hosts and flat was perfect for our needs. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Our stay here was just what we needed for a relaxed weekend in Cornwall. Would definitely recommend this lovely property, in a secluded area but still close to local beaches, shops and pubs. Would recommend the 45 minute walk to Polzeath beach across the fields but don’t forget your wellies!

  • Mary and Derrick's place was even nicer than the pictures. A peaceful and quiet location with a sunny flooded living room/kitchen/dinning room which made a breakfast extra special. The kitchen and bathroom were both kitted out with everything we needed. Very comfortable bed. We'd definitely stay again and recommend to others.

This beautiful one bedroom ground floor apartment (named Oyster Catcher) is located in the quiet village of Pityme, ideally situated a few minutes drive from the stunning Cornish coast and beaches of Rock, Daymer Bay and Polzeath. The property boasts its own private patio and outdoor dining space overlooking the owner's mature gardens.
The apartment is conveniently located near to local shops, including a deli, butchers, bakers, newsagents, post office, fish mongers, and Spa. The Pityme Inn pub is located within easy walking distance of the apartment. Oyster Catcher is located within our newly renovated home and has been furnished and equipped to the highest standard. The apartment benefits from a separate entrance, ensuring complete privacy for guests. Oyster Catcher benefits from a fully equipped kitchen, including built-in oven and microwave, dishwasher, fridge and washing machine. In addition, the property contains a smart TV, DVD player, an ipod-docking station and free wifi. The bedroom contains a kingsize bed and a large walk-in wardrobe. • What a fantastic little apartment in a great location to explore Cornwall. Immaculate, modern and fully equipped, we felt right at home straight away. Something to bear in mind is that the house is next door to a pub and, as we stayed on a bank holiday weekend, there was probably a little more noise than normal. Nothing that shutting the back doors didn't fix, but on a warm sunny evening this could potentially dampen your experinece of the beautiful garden. Would definitely recommend a stay here though, and we hope to return when we next come down to Cornwall!

  • Where to start! Firstly the accommodation is perfect and the pictures are exactly what you’re getting. From a lounge area to the bedroom, every little thing is thought out. The kitchen is full of everything you could need and after full days out there was nothing nicer to coming back, having a glass of wine and just chilling whilst cooking dinner together. The decor has been really nicely done and the apartment/ home is spotless. The little added touch of Prosecco was really thoughtful as well! The place itself in Rock is so easy to find. We enjoyed walking and exploring Rock, taking the ferry over to Padstow for the day and exploring locations closer including Polzeath & Port Isaac. We cannot find anything to fault about the Oyster Catcher and look forward to coming back as soon as possible! Thank you again

  • Without hesitation, I would recommend the apartment as a must stay as it is clean, modern, and restful. The kitchen area has every convenience which makes cooking simple and straightforward. The local shops provide everything needed, if self-catering, and the butchers has a great choice of meat. The apartment also had a lovely relaxing outdoor space which gets the sun at the end of the day; perfect for an early evening cocktail, beer or chilled sparkling drink. The walk to the Rock / Padstow ferry takes about 35 minutes (coming back slightly more as it is a slight gradient). Access to Falmouth, St Ives very straightforward and Port Isaac, Boscastle and Tintagel all easy to reach by car.

  • We really enjoyed our stay at 'Oyster catcher'. It is a lovely self contained apartment with a really nice patio and garden. Amazingly helpful hosts. It was an absolute pleasure to stay and would definitely go back!

  • The apartment was superb. Pristine, well stocked, excellent furnishings, comfortable and above all else, homely. Ann and Helena were excellent hosts. A wonderful get away for a long weekend. We would not hesitate to recommend future guests.

  • What a great little find the 'Oyster Catcher' was. Perfectly situated and excellently presented. We quickly became friends with Mattie the dog as well as our hosts. The house was spotless and had all the essentials you could ask for. A lovely pub around the corner and a 10 minute walk to the shops and bakery and a 30 minute walk to more pubs and restaurants. The weather picked up towards the end of the week and really complimented our already enjoyable stay at the house. We will be heading back in the future! Diolch yn Fawr / Thank you Very much.

  • A wonderful few days away in this perfect apartment. We were welcomed with big smiles and enthusiasm and the apartment was very clean, comfortable and cosy. There was a range of kitchen utensils to use when cooking and the bottle of prosecco was a wonderful bonus! There were some good DVDs and board games to also play too when having a chilled evening. The location was brilliant with a great fish and chip shop down the road as well as a lovely deli shop which had everything we needed. It took about 30 minutes (3minute drive) to walk into Rock where there were some lovely cafes and shops as well as the ferry to Padstow. Thank you Helena for having us and we will be certainly recommending your beautiful place to our friends.

Lovely spotlessly clean studio apartment. Next time I would bring my noise cancellation plugs though so the trains wouldn't wake me early. Great being such a short walk to King St and all restaurants.

The host arranged for a friend to conduct the meet and greet. He was perfectly charming with lots of good advice. The loft is exactly as listed. Very nice. The neighborhood is changing and is very convenient to the Redfern train station. Close by are supermarkets and have everything you might need. I would recommend without hasitaton.

Edwina creates and provides a well-rounded and immaculately clean home for her guests. She went to great lengths to ensure that I could check in as she was preoccupied with plans when I arrived. Once she arrived back home we got chatting and shared many stories of our travels. She really cares about her guests and her positive energy was the key ingredient to my fantastic stay. To top off it, her cat Paris is adorable, friendly and the fluffiest thing ever!
