Please read entire listing before booking ;o} It's my hope that you'll feel like a princess (or prince) sleeping in a jewelry box, in this sweet little jewel of a room. Perfect if you're traveling alone and plan to enjoy this great city.
Cozy little room in our home that was built in 1909 is on the second floor, has a single bed, and a big window overlooking the chickens in the back yard. The bathroom is right next door and is shared.
You will be in the historic Sullivan's Gulch neighborhood where birds sing and trees line the streets but downtown is just ten minutes away and on Saturday night you'll find salsa dancing just 4 blocks away. We are centrally located right in between some of Portland's most popular neighborhoods, Hawthorn, Division, Alberta arts, Mississippi arts, the Pearl and if you want to venture out a little further, an hour and a half to the east is Mt Hood and an hour and a half to the west is the beautiful Oregon coast.

HOUSEKEEPING AND MANAGEMENT BY AIRCNM Updating pictures soon ! Accepting early bookings for January 2019. Will be fully furnished and look amazing. Free parking lot. Can’t wait to open ! You couldn't ask for a better location in Southeast Portland. Places such as the world renown Doug Fir Lounge, Ron Toms, Club Trio and Le Pigeon, Five minutes from Voodoo Donuts, Portland City Grill, Roseland Theater, Crystal Ballroom, Pioneer Square Mall, Pearl District, Hawthorne and Moda Center.
As you arrive to the heart of inner southeast Portland near downtown you will most likely pass The Momo a boutique hotel for business and leisure travelers. The location of The Momo is extremely convenient because it is nestled on a point between SE Sandy Blvd and Se 11th Ave both very popular and up and coming locations for amazing food as well as entertainment. The Momo is one of the only locations in the entire SE Portland area with its own free parking lot for guests. The parking lot also conveniently has two entrance/exits to make it even easier to navigate the parking lot. From the parking lot you will see what looks like a gigantic classic Victorian style home and on the left side of the building facing 11th Ave a small set of stairs leading to the front door entrance and a gorgeous concrete porch surrounded by beautiful antique style trim overlooking the bustling bicycle corridor. The front door is fitted with a pin code activated deadbolt with a auto-lock feature. Once inside the building you’ll be invited by a long entrance way and flight of well lit stairs leading to the rooms on the second story. The hallways are updated tile and the entire area has been all updated and renovated and will have surveillance equipment only in the public areas of the hallway stairs and porch. The entrance way and hallway will also feature possibly vending machines. The first room door numbered #201 will have another pin code to enter your room. When you enter your room you will find a huge size room fully furnished with a king size bed, 43 inch tv, microwave, mini fridge, laptop work station, hair dryer, mirror, iron, ironing board, and hangars. The room has high ceilings and a big windows with amazing downtown Portland views. This room also has updated tile floor that looks amazing. The entire building is updated and renovated. Outside of your room to the right in the hallway you will find the bathroom that is shared by the three rooms. It is fitted with a public bathroom deadbolt that will show if the restroom is occupied or vacant. Inside the restroom you’ll see the updated shower with all new tile also a new sink and other amenities including a shower mat, disposable toilet seat covers, air purifier, air freshener, public restroom toilet paper dispenser, air hand dryer, and more. The bathroom also has an amazing view of downtown Portland that you can see very well.
The Hotel Momo is located in Portland, Oregon, United States. Again, in a very central location that people are traveling all over the world to visit because of how pretty the area is and its surroundings. If you are interested in visiting Hawthorne, famous for its "Keep Portland Weird" slogan, then you aren't far away. This block has many great restaurants and bars, including Jam, which has been growing more and more over the years as one of the better breakfast spots in the country according to many critics. Well worth the wait on the weekend... And if you're into pizza, heck, who isn't (some could argue I'm sure), they have a great place on Hawthorne as well, called Oasis Café, which is located off of 37th. Plenty of fun shopping on Hawthorne as well. And again right down the street from the Hotel, four blocks to be exact is the Doug Fir Lounge on East 9th and Burnside, famous for its three wooden bars, full menu and romantic restaurant with dim lighting, world famous concert venue downstairs where some of the best of the best in the music business have performed at one point in their career to stardom. Very intimate setting and some of the best acoustics you will experience while at a concert and they pretty much have shows every single night. And if you want to keep the party going, just down the street headed towards the Burnside Bridge, which is in the direction of downtown Portland are bars such as Wurst Bar, B-Side, Sizzle Pie, Ron Tom and etc. Directly across the street from the Doug Fir Lounge is a popular club called Club Trio. Then directly across the Burnside Bridge is getting towards the heart of downtown. You have all of the foot carts down there, blocks of them actually, food from all over the globe and very affordable and quite the diverse experience. You're also close to famous spots such as Powell's Book Store, Crystal Ballroom and other areas in the hip Pearl District, which is full of bars, restaurants and shopping for all ages. In general it's a great place to walk around and get a feel for downtown and what it has to offer. You are also a close walk from Providence Park home of the Portland Timbers MLS team, which has become quite a big deal in Portland to attend games there, where they are famous for the "Timber Arm." Back on the other side of the river on the eastside is the home of the Portland Trail Blazers, the Moda Center. Always a fun spot to catch a game a big time concert or other different events. Everything named above is close to get around to it, plus many other hot spots depending on your thoughts of what a good time is. Portland, especially in this special area of southeast has so much to offer and the sights alone are amazing in and of itself. Be sure to check out the Montage under the Morrison Bridge, which is less then a mile away from the Hotel.

Stay in a spacious, lovely remodeled basement apt within a 1905 home in the Historic Irvington area! Unit includes: 1 bd (queen), 1 ba, living room (with full-sized ikea sofa sleeper) and kitchette/laundry room. Walkscore 87, public transit 71 and biking 98! All are welcome. This unit is a great fit for those out and about during the day, but who want a quiet place to come home to at night!
The lovely basement level 1 bd/ba unit is fully permitted with the City of Portland! Pros: -More privacy than a room in a shared house due to the separate entrance and no shared common areas. -More space than a simple room. You have both a bedroom and living room/breakfast nook that are not shared with the hosts. -We sleep two floors up, so noise at night isn’t an issue. You may entertain friends and family or arrive late at night without worry. -We are walking distance to the Convention Center (~15 min) and the Moda Center (20 min). A perfect spot for those attending a conference or a game/concert at the arena without worrying about parking. -Central location means low fares for taxis and such to almost any part of Portland. Biking/walking is an option too. -Amenities in terms of travel brochures, washer/dryer, irons, microwave, induction hot plate, popcorn, Cheerios, coffee and milk, etc. -Beautiful tree lined streets and historic homes abound. -Self check-in using electronic code operated entry will give you added flexibility in your arrival time. Arriving any time of night is no problem! -There is a refrigerator and small dining area with snacks free of charge. -Responsive and welcoming hosts. :-) Cons: -Not the best for daytime occupation due to the potential for sound transfer above. If I was on a long exhausting trip and planning multiple naps during the day, I’d consider a quieter option. The sound would be creaking due to walking and potentially low conversation. -Low ceilings make it less accessible for tall folks. I’m 5’8 and never need to duck, but those much taller, will have to take care in the living room due to central air venting (covered with sheetrock, painted and and padded for your collision comfort). -Our kitchen is above your bedroom. We tiptoe in morning and there is soundproofing throughout, but there may be sound transfer as early as 7:00 am, so this apartment is not the best fit for light, late sleepers.
We are on the edge of the Irvington neighborhood which is formally registered as historic and 'amazing' (not really the latter). All the homes within the Irvington area itself, with a few exceptions, date from the early 1900s or late 1800s. We are a ~15 minute walk to the Oregon Convention Center and have had many guests stay attend events and avoid renting a car. It is very centrally located. Our guests are able to walk to the streetcar stop which can take you to the Pearl District in Downtown Portland. We are biking distance to almost all the "fun" neighborhoods such as the Alberta Arts, Mississippi and Hawthorne districts. There is a city run bike rental stop ~8 blocks away on NE 15th! See photos for a picture of the bikes. You can also bike downtown but as it's a bit more difficult to navigate for novice bikers. Taking the Portland Street Car or using Lyft/Uber are other easy options. There are cafes, restaurants and a non-profit brewery all within a 15 minute walking radius.

This studio apartment is a great, simple, comfortable space. Within walking distance of Powells, the waterfront, the pearl and a lot of other amazing downtown attractions finding something to do is easy.
I love some of the local coffee shops in the area (like Floyd's) and there are plenty of great places to eat. The train can be annoying at times, but noise is part of the experience downtown.

Gorgeous bedroom for one, with shared bathroom in a restored Victorian home in SE Buckman neighborhood. On the edge of the SE Industrial area- close to downtown and many of Portland's best restaurants and bars. 1 mile from Convention Center. Great for business travelers. Please note, there is no kitchen access.
This is a beautiful bedroom on the second floor of my remodeled Victorian home. As you can see from the pictures, it is very feminine! The custom designed shared bathroom is just a few steps away. The room shares a wall with the other guest room and is situated above my work space, which is typically used between 1pm-9pm (but sometimes as late as 10pm). Please note that as this room faces the street, it does get the road noise. Particularly in the summertime when it's hot and people are out late. There is a window AC and a fan for the summer, which help with white noise. I also provide ear plugs. But if you are a delicate sleeper, this might not be the room for you. Also, this room is strictly for one guest only, no visitors. This is because I need to limit the amount of traffic in my house and only have enough hot water for a certain amount of people. Please respect this rule and do not bring unauthorized people onto the property as this is my home and sanctuary.
On the edge of the SE Industrial neighborhood, we are just blocks from some of the best venues, cafes, bars and restaurants. 1.5 miles to downtown (Portland Saturday Market, Chinese Gardens, Shanghai Tunnels, Voodoo Donuts....); 1 mile from the Convention Center.

One of five artist-made guest rooms in a recently renovated 1902-built hostel/B&B near Hawthorne, Belmont, Division & Downtown. Walking distance to variety of restaurants, bars, theaters, shops, grocery stores, parks & public transit. LARGE ATTACHED PRIVATE BALCONY & SUN ROOM. Memory-foam queen bed. Custom Kitchen. Musical instruments.
Morel Room is a whimsical world designed and hand-painted by local artist Sivonna West. The room is full of lush details inspired by Northwest nature. Read a book in the over-sized chair in the attached sun room, or catch the sunset on the spacious, west-facing private balcony. Morel Room is one of five guest rooms at 1234 House designed by a local artist. The house, built in 1902, was recently renovated from the ground up, with an eye toward art, community and providing a unique space for travelers to call home while visiting Portland.
1234 House is in the Buckman neighborhood of Southeast Portland, which is dense with homes 100-plus years old, and, like most of Portland, is experiencing a wave of new, modern consruction. 1234 House is a mile from the Willamette River, which separates the eastside of Portland and the westside city center. The house is nestled between Hawthorne Boulevard and Belmont Street, both lined with restaurants, bars, shops, theaters and music venues. A few blocks down the street is Col. This small studio is perfect for the solo traveler with everything one would need to stay for awhile. Extra cozy queen bed with fresh linens will be hard to leave in the morning. Big beautiful 4 square windows look down on an urban forest with century old homes framing the neighborhood. It features a kitchen, queen bed, walk in closet, with a spacious bathroom (shared) and clawfoot tub. Welcome!
My guests will feel welcomed and comfortable. The space is simple, but it will have everything a weary traveler needs after a long day of exploring beautiful Portland and beyond.
The Irvington neighborhood, now only a ten minute bike ride from downtown, was once a trolley-car suburb to the just-fully-developed West side. Designated a historic district by the National Register of Historic Places in 2010, Irvington is filled with early 20th century homes that have been preserved in their original states. Irvington has become a livable hub of Northeast Portland as a whole, with shops and restaurants of all kinds, within walking distance, surrounding the neighborhood. Irvington proper boasts more than a few community and culinary destinations of its own.

Come and stay in my daylight basement apartment shaded by my blueberry and herb sidewalk garden. Full remodel in the basement with a beautiful tile bathroom, gas fireplace, stained concrete floors, small exercise room, and touches of old Portland. My house is an old PDX style home in the heart of close-in SE Portland. Visions of staying in Portlandia with its endless coffee shops, bearded hipsters, bikes, food carts, and restaurants? This is your location.
My kitchen is fully equipped for light cooking but it is small and does not have a full-sized range or oven. However, there are two induction plates (which heat amazingly fast), a microwave, and a toaster oven. The refrigerator is apartment sized. There is also a wash/dryer for your use in the unit. I don't provide a television, but I do provide two iPads and Netflix for your movie and TV watching pleasure. The internet access is both wireless and wired and is brought to the house by an extremely fast symmetrical, gigabit fiber-optic cable. There are two beds in my apartment. One is a queen sized bed on a Purple matress. It is quite comfy. The other is a sofa bed that converts into a small twin sized 44" x 72". It's tight for tall folks and is really only suitable for those of us who are a little shorter statured. The shower in the bathroom (there is no tub) is delightful with plenty of water pressure and body sprays. It was always my favorite shower in my house as I seemed to have hit the combo of shower heads and shower size just right. I think you will really enjoy it. There is also a small, private exercise room available behind the main studio space. It has an eliptical machine and a rower. It's not a full gym by any means but if you want to burn off a few of those food and boozing calories you enjoyed acquiring, I've got you covered.
My home has a walking score of 92. It is within a 5 minute walk of some of the best coffee, beer, cider, and food carts in Portland. Mass transit is easy. There are two high-frequency bus lines within a couple blocks of my house and electric scooters scattered everywhere in my neighborhood. Both Reach (BMWs) and Car2Go (Mercedes) care shares are plentiful and easy to find in my neighborhood as are Zipcars. A large grocery store is 3 blocks away and downtown Portland is a 20 min walk across one of Portland's many bridges or a quick car, bus, bike, or scooter ride.

The rental is in a charming and historic 1904 house in Portland's Irvington neighborhood. It is close to the Oregon Convention Center (within a mile) and to many local hot spots - including eateries, beverage options and retail. It is also close to bus lines, light rail (which runs to the airport and downtown), bike lanes, and a bike share stand. While close-in, the neighborhood is quiet and safe, and the neighbors friendly.
The house was first on the block and built on land originally owned by Mary Irving, of the family that created Irvington. In its 115 years life, it has been owned by only two families. While in an urban environment, the house and yard are designed to embrace and encourage nature. The yard is planted in native plants which yield a dazzling display - from seasonal blooms to the frequent visits of song birds, butterflies and more. The home also has a small flock of resident chickens (don't worry, they're all girls, so quiet, and they are quite friendly). And, there is a vegetable garden that offers yummy summer treats!
Old established neighborhood with big street trees and what is referred to as "classic pdx" architecture - broad front porches, wood construction, often two stories with a dormer and trim accents. Very walkable.

Clean & modern 1 bedroom private apartment in inner NE Portland. It has a private entrance, full kitchen, private bathroom (narrow shower stall), double bed, TV, internet & near grocery stores, dining, the Convention Center, transit and downtown.
Welcome! Bienvenida! 歓迎! Bienvenue! 欢迎!, We have an independent private one-bedroom apartment that is fully furnished. If you want an impression of what it would be like to live in Portland this is the spot for you. The apartment is small (500 sq. feet) and is about 25% of an older converted single family home. The bathroom is narrow and has a skinny standing shower stall (it is small). Our apartment has a lot of Ikea furniture, a full-sized firm bed on a wood frame, a desk, a 48" TV (with a HBO/cable package), WiFi and there is some original art in the space. The apartment has baseboard heating (it takes some back and forth to get the temp where you want it to be). It has seven windows in total, it does have an alarm clock, wine bottle opener, pots/pans, some cooking essentials, some tea, an electric kettle, coffee press, silverware, glassware, etc. It also has a small dining table in the kitchen (the kitchen is sort of roomy in relation to the rest of the apartment). It does not have microwave. There is no cleaning fee (hurray!), so we ask tenants to keep the place as clean as possible and to leave it as you found it. No need to strip the bed when done, just put your towels in the black laundry hamper and you'll be good. Thank you for looking and considering our apartment, we consider it an opportunity for a great experience and a value. No matter where you stay in Portland - have fun!
Close to everything! Located in the historic Irvington neighborhood, in inner NE Portland (so it's close to downtown Portland). One mile away from the Oregon Convention Center and two miles away from downtown. Lloyd Center mall is close as well as many dining options and the Moda Center (where the Blazers play). There is a post office about five blocks away and many banks near by. We love the neighborhood in part because we love city living. This is in a walkable, busy and dense tree-lined community. You will be living as the locals live in one of Portland's best neighborhoods.

We are a very short walk from the Red and Blue Max (light rail) trains as well as being right on the bus line, so pretty much all of Portland is yours to explore for a mere $2.50 for a two hour ticket or $5 for an all day ticket. Our street, NE Broadway, is a main thoroughfare and is butted right up against gorgeous residential areas with old growth trees and 100 year old homes. We are a 25 minute walk from the Oregon Convention Center and The Moda Center. We are south of the Alberta Arts District, and north of Burnside, the main strip and dividing line of the city. It's a quick Max ride downtown as well. However, if you wish to stay within a few blocks of the Guesthouse, you've got more than enough options to keep you busy. Right across the street are two iconic Portland landmarks, The Cadillac Cafe (try the Hazelnut French Toast!) and The Helen Bernhard Bakery (fresh donuts and pastries every morning? Bring back a pie to share with friends? Oh yes...). Next door to the Guesthouse is Broadway Books, an independently owned bookstore, which are few and far between these days. Pick up a book and head to nearby coffee shop to while away the hours. There's Cafe D'Arte, at the end of the block, and a Starbucks (if that's your thing) nearby as well. OR stop at Eb and Bean for some locally made frozen yogurt. Further east along Broadway there is Costello's Travelers Caffe, a travel themed restaurant with pictures and info up from all over the world. Good for European-inspired food, coffee, pastries, and drinks, it gives you a real feeling of being on the road and moving. Perfect for the guesthouse traveler. Try the Farmer's Breakfast Scramble! Should you prefer to prepare your own food, there is a Safeway, a Fred Meyer and a New Seasons within easy walking distance from the house, and we have plenty of storage space in the kitchen for both refrigerated and non-refrigerated goods, to suit all your home cooking needs. And it wouldn't be a trip to Portland without beer! There's the Rose and Thistle Pub, The Hop Haven Bottle Shop, McMenamin's Broadway Pub, and the Broadway Grill and Brewery, all within a close walking distance. It's enough for a proper pub crawl. Just a bit further north is the Alberta arts district (small area of shops and galleries) and even better still is south to Burnside, Belmont & Hawthorne...areas not to be missed...full of (more) restaurants, breweries, parks, vintage shops, bakeries, and wonderful old neighborhoods. Last but not least, Lloyd Center Mall, one of Portland's main malls, is also within close walking distance, with over 100 shops and two separate movie theaters. HAPPY EXPLORING!

If you're a fan of great food, craft beer, pour-over coffee, this is your place. Our apartment is situated in the famous Buckman District - which neighbors many of Portland's top-rated restaurants and bars, vintage shops, and offers some of the best people-watching around. My place is great for solo-travelers, couples, and business travelers. It's a convenient home base within walking distance to the neighborhood hot spots, you can get an authentic taste of how the hipsters live in Stumptown.
My home is cozy and relaxed, the upstairs apartment is small but has a ton of natural light and a comfy mattresses to lay down on. Those rainy days are perfect for cuddling up and watching tv or Netflix. After spending the day walking, shopping, and eating, you'll love coming home to a super comfy queen-size bed. My apartment has e heating so you can stay warm in the winter and a portable A/C to keep cool in the summer. It is perfect for business or solo-travelers.
Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District puts you within walking distance to a wide variety of top-notch local flavors (no chain restaurants here!) Make new friends over some vegan poutine fries and grilled PB&Js at the Cartopia food cart pod, get messy with some wings right around the corner at Fire on the Mountain, share a pie at Apizza Scholls (consistently voted Portland’s favorite pizza), or opt for a fancy night out at Castagna - all within a 1.5 mile stretch. Portland isn't just for foodies. There’s vibrant indie spirit in Hawthorne, with lots of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore here in hipster heaven. Or, catch a movie at Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 196-acre city park on top of a dormant volcano vent, where you’ll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city.
