Casa Amore, also known as the Glass House by the Lake is a private rest house located at the center of Caliraya Lake which is nestled at the top of the Sierra Madre mountain range. Our house sits on a hill at the tip of a peninsula thereby giving the guests a 300 degree view of the pristine fresh water lake with a comfortable cool and windy weather. It is the ideal place to safely enjoy water sport activities, recharge or simply spend quality time with your family and friends.
Casa Amore is conveniently accessible by car. Being a functional home, guests can use the owners' kitchen, gas stove with oven, freezer, refrigerators, microwave oven, charcoal grill, hot and cold water dispenser with free mineral water, bread toaster, coffee maker, rice cooker, basic kitchen and dining ware. Guests can also use the following water sports facilities for free: life vests, 4 kayaks, 2 pedal boats and two paddle boards that can be launched from the private pier. Guests can rent its 4 man fishing boat and three fishing rods. Our house has a game room with various indoor games like chess, billiards, mahjong and poker table, darts, foosball, jenga, twister and word games. Our house is an ideal place for pre nups and nature photography lovers. Enjoy nature at its best with our panoramic windows, high ceiling and open veranda.
The lake is watershed and a forest reserve. There are only four rest houses on the peninsula. Your view will be the lake, the mountain ranges and the sky. It is a perfect jump off point to explore the caves in Cavinti, shooting the rapids in Pagsanjan, the Japanese Garden in Caliraya and the half day trips to miraculous Kamay ni Jesus in Lucban, the woodcarving shops in Paete and barong or jusi terno shops in Lumban.
  • Awesome place! The view is amazing

  • We had a great time at Casa Amore! The house is beautiful and well-appointed. Although it was windy and rainy outside, we had fun staying indoors because there was a dvd player and karaoke machine. We would definitely stay here again.

  • Casa Amore is in a secluded area in Cavinti. The view of the lake is stunning and the interior of the house is beautiful. Cery spaceous, impressive facilities. The staff are very courteous. Would highly recommend.

  • The house is really lovely! It's a bit far from the main road, better to make sure to arrive before dark. But the lakefront location is worth it. :) The owners and the househelp were also very accomodating and patient with all our inquiries and requests.

  • The place is magnificent; the lake view breath-taking; the swim in the lake, a real treat! The caretakers made us feel so at home, and the our time with our group was punctuated by the videoke facilities of the house. Near Manila; no hassle drive; a trip back to nature! Casa Amore, you will see more of us- soon!

  • Such a wonderful weekend spent in Casa Amore. Host was very easy to contact. We were welcomed warmly by the caretakers and they really helped us all throughout our stay. Place was a bit of a drive though, but the view was worth it along with the loads of water equipment we were able to use. Best to bring everything you need since there will be no nearby stores. We also experienced a power outage (which was not often accdg to the caretakers), I assume because we went there on a stormy weekend. Host was nice to offer late check out because of the power outage.

  • We will go back as soon as we can!!!! The home is gorgeous. Huge, spacious and airy with breathtaking views in every corner. The staff is extremely efficient and the place really feels like a home. I loved that the water sports equipment is included in the fee. I also loved how private and secluded it was. Wifi was a little frustrating in the area but maybe that is a plus as it forces people to reconnect with each other instead of with phones. Wonderful for just relaxing and recharging. So glad we found this place and so grateful for the family for sharing this place with us. I almost don't want to share because people might make it hard to fight for the next booking :)

    Anna2017-10-30T00:00:00Z
  • My family had a wonderful time at Casa Amore. Everything went smoothly as expected. The caretaker/helpers attended to our needs . The place was big enough to accommodate 14 comfortably. We had the place entirely to ourselves ( there was only 5 of us) and enjoyed playing pool and chess at the basement and use the kayak and paddle boats to go to the neighboring island. There is a videoke bar also. Lot's of interesting curios and nooks to captivate. Even the two black labradors were pleasantly tame and quiet. The road going to the place added to the adventure of finding this cozy and quaint delightful house by the lake . If you are coming from Mandaluyong or Quezon City, better take the MARILAQUE route going to Lumban which saves you 1 hour vs. the SLEX-Calamba route. Mr Rivera is a great host. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your place.

Explore, Experience, Enjoy GLAMPINGxBLOC: "Where Art and Architecture meet Adventure!" New. Revolutionary. Innovative. Uniquely Cool!
At the BLOC Camp Site, you'll see Glamping Tents big and small pitched along the lakeshore. They all look great but your private Glamping spot looks insanely superb! It's THE center of attraction. It stands out among the others and it's the most premium accommodation. It combines the best of the indoors and the outdoors. Inside, you'll enjoy the sexy and bouncy bed complete with soft and smooth linen, bed sheet, blanket, and comforter. A furry carpet or rug will meet your feet as you step out of the bed. At the head is a console table where towels and toiletries are neatly placed. At both sides are ottoman box tables with storage space. There's a relaxing lounging chair also inside. Atop the tent are low energy consuming but bright LED lights. Although it's already cold up there, there's a stand box fan at the corner to circulate the natural ventilation coming passively thru the screened door access and windows. Outside, there's a rigid steel garden table at the center matched with 2 geometrically designed modernist chairs. It is lit on top by a cable-suspended array of LED lights that is so picturesque especially at night. An ice cooler stand bag that also serve as an auxiliary table can be found at the side. A pair of camping chairs is juxtaposed at each center module. And the most relaxing feature is the suspended hammock at the end of the wood planks-clad al fresco deck. To fuse them all, it's truly where Art and Architecture meet Adventure! =)
The BLOC Camp Site is located on top of the Sierra Madre mountains surrounded by the fresh water Sierra Lake. Temperature here is kinda cold that sometimes we describe it: "As cold as Baguio and as windy as Tagaytay!" In here, you will truly experience the great outdoors and the spirit of nature-adventure camping. There are still lots of beautiful wild and farm animals that you can see around from afar. There are times when you'll see a flock of black birds; on other times, flocks of white birds. And sometimes, you'll be lucky to spot multi-coloured birds. There are Kingfishers and our favourite, Hawks that are soaring up high spotting a fish to catch. At the lake, one will catch the game-fishing favourite American Black Bass. In the Philippines, this super delicious fish locally known as Apahap can only be caught in these fresh water twin lakes, Lake Caliraya and Sierra Lake. Abundant also here are Tilapia, Biya, Ayungin, Dalag, Hito, and Shrimps! Lake shells and clams are also present like Tulya, Paros, and the native Kuhol (Suso) also known as Escargot abroad. Guest Campers particularly the foreigners appreciate the presence of farm animals around like the horses, goats, ducks, chicken, and carabaos. You will enjoy more nature sight-seeing especially when you go on a lake island-hopping trip adventure!
  • One of the best places I have ever been to. Never a fan of camping but because of the great experience, I will surely ne back. Excited to bring my family and other friends! Thank you Sir Philip and everyone for the warm welcome. :)

  • This was my first glamping experience and my partner and I loved it. Beautiful, quiet, secluded spot with an amazing view of the lake. Host/owner is so generous, they even gave us complimentary kayak, breakfast in floating garden dock even though we pay for a single use and also late check out. The floating garden dock is a perfect spot for a romantic moment with your partner. All the staffs are accommodating. The perfect spot to while away the time with a good book and wonderful way to enjoy the great outdoors in comfort and luxury!

  • Great overall experience. More than the beauty of nature, the team's professionalism is outstanding. The extra mile efforts of the owner to provide great customer satisfaction is very overwhelming as well. Thank you for the experience. Will definitely be back with our friends and relatives.

  • Great!

  • We wish we stayed for another night. It’s always nice to reconnect with nature especially when living in a noisy and busy city. The owner even had a thoughtful gesture after knowing that we’re celebrating a special occasion. The staff are very accommodating and always willing to help when needed. Highly recommending this place to anyone who wants to do an outdoor activity but not as experienced in camping.

    Glace2018-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • We love the place. It's a nice place to relax. If you just want to escape from the busy city life and stressful job bloc camp site is a place to go. The owners and the staffs are very friendly. Infact they treat you as family. We're looking forward to our next glamping :)

Retreat to a small and secluded island with a simple but comfortable bungalow, in a tranquil lake in the mountains around 3 hours from Manila. The house has one bedroom, a kitchen, a spacious living room--and stunning views of the lake!
We were lucky to have found this place and we’d like to share it with others. It is a small and secluded island in a tranquil lake in the Sierra Madre mountains, with a simple but comfortable bungalow on top of a grass-covered knoll that gently slopes down to the water. From the road, you can only reach our island by a ten-minute boat ride. When you get there, it becomes difficult to believe that you’re only three hours away from the big city. Our island is an ideal destination for couples, families, or small groups of friends seeking to escape from the frenzied pace of the metropolis (or for that matter, of Tagaytay, Laiya, or Subic). The 80-square meter house has one bedroom, a kitchen, two bathrooms, and spacious living room. The bedroom includes a queen-size bed, a separate day bed (for reading, or for an extra guest), a closet, and a great view of the lake. There are comfortable sleeping mats for seven extra guests who can spread them out in the cool and spacious living room. A separate study where you can relax, gather your thoughts, or shack up for a night of board games is close to the main house. You can choose to eat in the dining area in the kitchen, in a separate dining hall found farther down the way, past an outdoor kitchen and grill area—or al fresco, as we like to do, by taking our table and chairs to the grassy area by the water. The dining hall can also double as a small function room for meetings or parties. There is also a ‘dap-ay’ (a circle of stones surrounding a fire pit) at the head of the island where you can have bonfires. The island isn’t connected to the grid, but since we come here to retreat from the city, we actually don’t mind. We only use a small and trusty generator from dusk til midnight, but if you’d like to have it on all day, we can adjust our fees. With the isolation and quiet, clean mountain air, and the comfort of a rustic lake house all only a short distance from Manila, our island is a perfect venue for quick weekend getaways, family picnics, barkada outings, organizational meetings, or even a small garden wedding. It is also ideal for long-term stays for those who want to finish writing a play, thesis, or novel. Have a look at the pictures and send us an email. We look forward to hearing from you. ☺
  • The best part of our stay was the al fresco breakfast. The birds and the breeze just made the whole experience cinematic.

    Edu2017-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time, and it was a relaxing experience. Maybe next time we could stay a little longer, atleast book it 2days or more. I suggest to bring extension cord to maximize charging your phones& powerbanks. Also, if you wish to bring your leftover food, bring containers or plastic bag. It's chill mode type of place.

    Jennifer2015-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to get away from it all! Will definitely go back when I need a break from the city.

    Joyce2015-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • We were 2 couples who had come over to celebrate a birthday . All the information provided was very accurate and we did not have any issues finding the place. Toni and his family were extremly helpful in setting us up (even though we arrived before time) . Boat ride was smooth . There are 2 hammocks and you can relax there or take a nap with the cool breeze flowing. There was a calmness about the that helped take our mind off the stress. We enjoyed the place and would be back in a bigger group. Please note this is not a luxury resort and being close to nature it will have its set of nuances like some flies, couple of pet dogs and maybe some insects but if you can look beyond this its a great place to spend a night or 2 ...

    Kunal2015-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • The place is just dreamy! It was raining for the majority of our stay and we were not able to explore as much as we wanted but it did not take away from the island’s beauty. It was just a different experience I guess. We really enjoyed the sights, playing with the dogs, cooking, and doing nothing. You’ll find Everything you need in the House amenities wise. Kuya Tony, the care taker was very helpful as well! I also liked how Antares had an open communication line. Would definitely recommend

Mang Ipe is very accommodating and helpful. Just lessen your expectation during rainy season as you cannot do anything in the place but chill.

  • We stayed at Sharlene's lake house for a weekend getaway with our friends. It was such a lovely place! The house was spacious. There were enough rooms and mattresses, so we had a good night's sleep. We also got to enjoy nature. We were able to do a lot of fun stuff like swimming and kayaking. It was such a refreshing experience. Sharlene was also very accommodating. Communication went smoothly before our stay and during check-out. Definitely one of the best places to go to escape the city noise.

The Lake House is our family's private vacation home which hosts small groups of families and friends who would like to spend a quiet and relaxing weekend away from the city. It is surrounded by lush greenery and tall trees of the Caliraya watershed which makes for a true nature experience. Our facilities run entirely on solar power so our guests are requested to be more mindful of their power and water consumption. We do not allow rice cookers, thermal jugs, hairdryers and other appliances that will add to our current electrical consumption. Our hillside villa and pool are located 72 steps up a hillside. The villa has 6 bedrooms and 2 indoor toilet/shower rooms plus another one accessible from the pool area and our pool is filled with fresh water extracted from the ground. All our bedrooms are fan-cooled and not air-conditioned. The adjacent room has a conference table, white board and TV which makes it suitable for meetings. Otherwise, you can watch films on DVD or play card and board games. During very sunny days, this is the only room that may be air-conditioned to allow you some respite from the summer heat. By the lawn is the recreational area where we have a bonfire pit, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, fishing gear, life-vests and other outdoor sports equipment. You may want to try the water trampoline for a fun and challenging work-out!
Lake Caliraya is situated inside a vast natural watershed. The surrounding nature is lush and fertile, and the climate is pleasant with cooler temperatures at night. A short 10-15 min. boat ride away is an 18-hole golf course, a big water park and a windsurfing and kiteboarding school. A 10 min. walk from the parking area or another 5 mins. by car is a fishing village where children can learn to fish (catch and release) while more experienced anglers can enjoy game fishing.

  • We had the best time at the lake house! We loved how secluded it was, away from the noise of the city. The fresh air was refreshing and the sight is truly breathtaking. Every corner of the property is swoon worthy and all the furniture pieces were well thought of. One night is not enough, will definitely go back!

  • Such a wonderful place to relax and unwind. The staff is so accomodating and friendly (so is Scooby and Beedo). Definitely worth coming back to. Hope you can make UV mosquito light repellant available for use when guests decide to hang out by the kitchen or areas where there is no fan. Other than that, you have a very lovely place.

Stay in the attic that's 3 mins. away from the port where you can ride a boat to Kwebang Lampas Beach, Dampalitan, Borawan and from the jeepney terminal if you prefer to travel by foot. Please read on and be guided accordingly on how to get around the tourist attractions around the area.
The attic is almost as huge as the space below it so it's like you're staying in an entire house. You have your own access, bathroom and balcony, too. We only have fan rooms (no air-con) though, but it's generally breezy all throughout the year. Consider it as your gateway to Quezon Province's pristine white beaches. The place is just a 3-minute walk going to the port where you can ride a boat going to Kwebang Lampas, Borawan and Dampalitan. Best of all, the place has its own charm, too. Live a rural life (boodle fight, anyone?) for a moment: You can go camping, go fishing, or just master the art of doing nothing. :) You'll also probably notice that some of the furniture pieces in the house are Italian-inspired since the owners lived and worked in Sicily for 20 years. He's ready to share a shot of freshly-brewed Italian espresso in the morning for every guest to try. :)
It has countryside atmosphere with some occasional noise from the neighbours partying with their karaoke.
  • Relaxing stay! It was raining when we visited but we don't have any clear plans at all whether to island hop or tour around. Purpose of visit is just for staycation and the weather fits the purpose. Luigene responds in a timely manner. Athough he's not there in the property, Tiyo Ariel accommodated us amazingly. My province is Tayabas, Quezon so it's not hard for me to locate Pagbilao. Expect that since the location is in the province, mosquitoes are evident so bring your "off lotion" if you have the same skin/blood type as mine. Also, before travelling, always check the weather so you can plan ahead. Don't hesitate to chat Luigene for your queries. Also Tiyo Ariel is there to assist you will everything you need. Highly recommended for couples, barkadas & family getaways!

  • An unforgettable stay! When we planned our weekend beach trip to Borawan, Dampalitan and Kwebang Lampas, we only wanted three things: 1.) A safe spot to park our car; 2.)A warm bed instead of tent accommodation on the island and; 3.) A nice bathroom. At Lui’s place, our expectations were met – AND A LOT MORE. Lui was a great host. We arrived earlier than expected. At 5AM, he ushered us to the attic room for us to sleep first. And when we woke up at 7AM, complimentary breakfast was served. We weren’t expecting it at all. After breakfast, we prepared for the island hopping experience. The Daungan port was just a 5-minute-walk away from Lui’s. Boat trips here are scarce, so you need to talk with some locals/tricycle drivers first so that your boat can be arranged. We had a great time on the islands. They were more beautiful than expected. We returned at night and Lui suggested a place to eat dinner at the town proper. There were no hassles, since it was only a 5-minute-drive from the house. Our second day at the house was equally fun! We had coffee for breakfast while we stare at the beauty of the lotus plants on the fish pond. HAHA! Lui offered us another activity, and that is to feed the fishes on the pond. Lui and his uncle also helped us in making fish rods for us to catch our own fish for lunch. To our dismay, only one of our friend caught a fish, but she returned it to the pond after hours of contemplating whether to grill it for lunch or not. We grilled pork chops we bought from the market instead, and Lui’s little nephew, Ale, helped us fan the charcoal. We set our lunch over banana leaves for a boodle fight feels. When check-out time came, we were too lazy to move because we don’t want to leave the place yet!!! We asked Lui for extension and he kindly approved. Thank you Lui!!! We left but the memories we had will always remain with us.

  • Luigene, Kuya Ariel, Tatay & Nanay plus Jacob the monkey was a great host they made our stay a pleasant one! :)

    Sofia2017-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • The place is very nice. The lot area is very big and staying in it is like being one with nature. It is a good place to chill. The owners of the place also sell cooked food. The place is also near the market which basically has everything you need so you can buy ingredients from the market and cook at the place, which we did. Even though Luigene was not around during our stay, he was very helpful with us before and during our stay. He made sure we are well-informed about the place and he gave us every detail on how to reach their place. The family who owns the place is also very nice and friendly. They treat us as if we are really part of their home, so you will really feel at home at this place. This is definitely a place to stay. You will get more than what you pay for.

We will definitely come back when the beaches are open to public again. Although we did not get to tour the famous spots in the area, we were very comfortable in our stay at The Attic.

  • Very serene and peaceful. The caretakers are very hospitable and beyond helpful. Make sure to bring your own toiletries especially towels and buy lots of ice beforehand if you have any perishables due to limited electricity. Overall, an amazing stay. Would definitely recommend :)

  • Suzette’s place was wonderful. We had an amazing experience. Every view was picture-perfect. The island was very clean. Thanks to the very pleasant caretaker couple who keeps the place very well maintained. The essentials are provided to make your stay a comfortable one. The house interior is pretty basic and clean as it should be because the luxury there is nature itself. Suzette was a great host. She answered all of my queries and other details I needed to know even though she was abroad at that time. It was kind of bittersweet to leave the island, you just want to keep coming back. Thank you Suzette for sharing your beautiful island.

  • We were glad we were able to find this place here on airbnb. Suzette was quick to respond with all our queries even though we booked just a day before. The caretakers were very kind and hospitable. They check on us and assist us if we have concerns. Down below are some notes during our trip: - it was posted that there are 2 single sleeping mat but i think each mat can fit 2 person. - vast space for tents! - 1 bathroom where the water supply comes from the lake as told by the caretakers -the place is run by a generator and is only from 6pm-12mn. We extended the electricity as we were concerned that it might be warm at night but it was not. It was raining hard and very cold! It was still okay as we stayed up quite late and needed the light -bring candles. We forgot to bring them tho the caretakers offered to buy for us. -we were told that it was mango season as there were a LOT of flies. The house is open so we need to cover every food and drink that we have. We should have brought a fly trap with us. - be careful in parking your car on the farthest side of the area during rainy season as the soil can be very soft. Our car got stuck but luckily got help from the boatman and some people nearby -the nearest wet market i think is at Pagsanjan area. There is also a puregold market in the adjacent building. -lovely pets in the area! -swimming not for kids. There were lifevests available but the water current was a bit strong that time and the water was too muddy. They have kayak available tho. -bring power banks or make sure to charge your phone when the generator is on. All in all we had fun and enjoyed our stay! We thought that the electricity might be an inconvenience during day time but it wasn’t. Hoping to visit again soon!

  • Very nice private property.. Good for those who wants camping with friends :)

  • Thanks Suzette for being a great host and for answering all my queries. The place is so relaxing and perfect for those who loves nature. The view of Mt. Banahaw is so picturesque and the unlimited use of their kayaks is a plus factor. The caretakers of the place are so helpful and hospitable. They were attentive to all our needs and even volunteered to grill the fresh tilapia that we bought. Too bad that we were not able to swim in the lake because we don't have a life vest with us. But overall, we still had a great time and enjoyed our short vacation in the island. We will come back here in the future for sure and will recommend the place to our friends. Thanks again for sharing this little piece of paradise to your guests.

  • Suzette was an amazing host. Even if she wasn’t there physically, she coordinated everything so well. The place was a great escape from the hectic city life. The caretakers were very nice and accommodating. It was a great experience for my friends and I and would definitely book here next time. :)

Explore the beauty of nature in this astonishing mountain top lake with a breathtaking view. Our island offers an ambiance of a peaceful country setting where you can experience serenity away from your busy life.
If you want a great outdoor experience: whether it's camping, swimming, fishing, boating, bonfire, horseback riding or just laying back and enjoying your much needed vacation, Green Valley island is the spot for you. Stay in our simple nipa hut equipped with bunk beds that can sleep 4 people or just enjoy the outdoors through pitched tents. If you want to ensure that you will be the only guests in the island, we will gladly block the calendar for a fee of $200 which will entitle you to a total of 20 guests. Otherwise, please allow us to share the place with other guests who may book on the same day as you. Please see our other listing under greenvalley2...we built twin huts that can accommodate 6 guests each and 2 cabanas facing the lake that can accommodate 4 people. There is a small native dining hall across the nipa hut where you can enjoy the meals that you have prepared or you can ask our caretaker to cook them for you at a small fee. We have a fire pit at the top most portion of the island where you can enjoy grilling hotdogs or marshmallows under the star-lit skies. Experience dining at our floating cabana which also serves as our launch pad for swimming. We strictly adhere to a "no-life vest, no-swimming policy" since safety is our foremost concern. Life vests will be provided for those who intend to swim. We have solar electricity good for lighting and charging your gadgets. If you want to stay connected with the outside world, we will provide you with a wi-fi. The island is an animal friendly environment...we have 2 horses, 1 carabao, 4 turkeys and chickens roaming around. However, we will ensure that you will not be bothered by them during your stay. You are free to bring your own pets if you wish, they, too, deserve a vacation. By the way, please keep in mind that staying outdoors would also mean welcoming nature's harmless creatures...some frogs here and there, flies and insects. I guess it comes with Nature;)
  • This place is a hidden gem in Laguna! Every thing was perfect and flawless. From the communication with Miss Ibeth, their hospitality, good scenery and hospitality. We arrived very late because of the rush hour traffic in SLEX & Calamba, Ibeth offered that they'll be cooking rice since they know for sure that we're hungry. She's patient giving us directions from time to time, and true enough when we arrived at the port, the boat was ready. It was dark in the island, and raining quite hard, but it was a big relief that the tents were already set up. While we were setting up additional tents, Ibeth also helped us (we're lucky her fam is there too when we stayed), and offered everything they have to make the stay, comfortable despite the rain. We woke up to a breathtaking view, Ibeth's family is gracious and friendly to all of us, even their cute dog Daniel. Ate Amy assisted us in every breakfast needs. We decided to swim, and good thing that they have a strict but sensible policy, no lifevests, no swimming. They provided the vests, so you'll feel safe in swimming (lakes are really scary). We swam to nearby islets, went to see their horses, swam more until we're hungry. We went back to the dining area, and it was already set up by Ate Amy, along with free Ginataang Hipon! After lunch, we swam again, took pictures, and every one was sad that we'll be going back to reality. While some of the boys are just chatting, Miss Ibeth's husband offered adobong kambing and drinks! If I'll be writing every single good detail this trip have, the list will have to go on and on! We'll definitely go back, even the couples are planning to camp on a regular basis and of course, bring some new friends and promote the place! Thank you for everything!

  • This place is amazing! Perfect place to unwind. Ibeth coordinated everything, communication was flawless. My husband and son went fishing, they both had a blast, then we went horseback riding after - it was so much fun! During the night we gathered around the fire, sang some campfire songs while my two boys were making smores. If you want to unwind, enjoy nature and get some family bonding time, this is the place to go! Thank you Ibeth and we will definitely go back! Longer than two nights next time!

    Mikaela2015-12-13T00:00:00Z
  • I gave an excellent rating for Ibeths place even though we were not able to maximize our stay due to the bad weather. Communication is very fast between owner and me plus the very accommodating caretakers ate amy and kuya lito. We will definitely come back in summer. Very nice place ideal for bonding and relaxation with family and friends.

  • Found this place randomly thru airbnb. This place is PARADISE! away from all the hustle bustle in manila and nothing out of the ordinary. We came to this place with so much anticipation and some expectations from the previous reviews, it exceeded everything! Ate Amy's ginataang hipon is very delicious and not the common ginataang hipon variant. Its really a must try!! I have nothing but good words for the whole experience, from the port to going home. The host responds fast and is very accommodating. I really appreciate her checking in on us regularly thru her staff. If you're looking at their ad and still needs convincing, let me tell you some of our activities at the island. When we got there, our lunch was ready by the floating hut. We went swimming while having our mid day cocktails. We had bbq dinner by the main hut and all our tents and bonfire were already prepared by Kuya Lito and his companions. Its really cold during the evening which makes the bonfire experience perfect. Once our fire died down, we all gathers and just watched all the stars. It was really an amazing experience and I wish a lot more families/friends would experience this.

  • This is the perfect place to relax. It will take you 3 to 4 hours drive and once you get to lumot lake it will take another 10 mins by motorized banca to get to the island. If you are coming from Northern part, best to take the Antipolo Rizal route. Nipa hut has one double bed which I think will fit 4 to 5 persons :). The place is good for several more persons as they can provide tents. Tita Amy and Tatay Lito had been very accomodating and cooks good too! Ibeth, is easy to contact and provided all information we need. She was very helpful. It's really a perfect place for bonding and relaxation. It was a nice and refreshing experience. We'll definitely go back to this place.

    Jocelyn2015-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • The place is great if you want to just relax and have your quiet time. Very peaceful. The caretakers are awesome and nice and very polite. I enjoyed playing with the dogs, especially with Happy, the Siberian Husky. :) It's also good for group of friends or family bonding because of the big area/space. Make sure to wake up early in the morning so you can witness low tide, wherein you can actually walk to the other island. Thumbs up!

    Liezl2018-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • It was such a serene and relaxing place. Location description and amenities are accurate. The caretakers, Ate Amy and Kuya Lito, were both accommodating and helpful. The resident pets playful are fun.

  • i'm glad I chose to celebrate my birthday in Greenvalley. The place is really lovely, the nipa hut where we're staying at is really cute with the double deck bed, our own dining table and balcony. Although we shared the island with another group of guests, the hut provided an adequate privacy. The place can get really cold at night so be sure to bring your blanket and jacket. They have 4 lovely dogs, and 2 horses which all complimented our perfect getaway with nature. Ms. Ibeth was patient in answering all my questions and Ate Amy - who is the island's caretaker - was so hospitable. The kitchen and toilet are common spaces. it would be nice if they provide another stove and grill so if they have 2 separate groups booked in the same day, they can cook separately, and a ladder in the floating cabana would be great too so its easier to climb up from the water after your swim. Other than that, Greenvalley is a great place to unwind, relax, and be one with nature.

  • Mr King was a gracious host. He communicated with us every step of the way, including advising on best route to take to reach their place. All throughout our stay, he checked on us often to make sure everything was in order. His whole family and friends made sure we felt welcome and enjoyed our stay. Our tents were comfortable, with comfortable beds, clean linens, fans and electricity for our phones. The view of the lake was beautiful. Picture perfect in the morning, at noon and at night. Our children enjoyed fishing with bamboo rods, complete with earthworm baits along the lake bank, and actually catching some fish!!! Well, they let the fishes swim back to the lake after. My husband and I enjoyed the small clams from the lake, cooked with ginger and malunggay for dinner! There were green mangoes, just picked from their trees as well. The bonfire with marshmallows and hotdogs, using long bamboo sticks was such fun. Other than the distant singing of local residents (local fiesta) , all was quiet allowing us a restful night. On Day 2, our daughters wanted to go fishing on the lake for american black bass, unfortunately, the boatmen were attending the fiesta. We went hiking instead to a local ilog through the jungle, and spent the most part of the day taking in the local ecosystem, the flowing waters running through big and smaller rocks and lots of trees that provide good cover from the midday sun. It was a trip led by Mr King himself and the whole family. All in all, the kids enjoyed the nature trip! Going back and appreciating God's beautiful creation of sun, blue skies, cottony clouds and a beautiful lake in the day and clear skies with stars at night and again a beautiful lake was beautiful memory. Apart from the scenery, equally enjoyable are the stories shared with the host Mr. King, his family and his friends. We felt like family. Our kids do want to go back to have that fishing trip on a boat in the middle of the bigger lake! Definitely, a must to return with the rest of the gang.

  • The rain didn’t stop us from enjoying King’s Landing. Even if we’re not able to fully maximize the space and everything that the campsite has to offer, Mr. King (whose at the hospital at that time) and Anabel’s hospitality made our stay worthwhile. While confined at the hospital, he still checks on us and made sure that all our needs are met. For me, the place was a very refreshing opportunity to touch base with nature. Thanks again to Anabel and to Mr. King!

    Ces2018-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • Just a little background folks... We went to Lucban as we seek a local Barong Tagalog but arrived late afternoon. As we don't want to drive our way back to Manila as it is getting darker, we decided to find a place to stay. Since Mr. King has confirmed our reservation earlier, we were very confident that we will have a place where we can just sleep. But guess what, we even had more! From a very affordable accommodation, a quiet scenic place, a very hospitable host family, a great cook (they prepared and cooked our dinner and breakfast) and they were really attentive to all our needs. All of these, in addition to a really good conversation that we did not want to go (but we have to, unfortunately.) Please tell King Jr that we will be back.

  • Felt like we were visiting extended family :) This was my four year old's first camping experience and turns out the camping wasnt the only 'first'.. It was also his first time chasing ducks, first time roasting marshmallows over a fire pit, first time making a HUGE bunch of friends (we expected we would have to drag our boy kicking and screaming to the car when we left) The hosts continued to amaze us. It was the little things.. and Mr King really made us feel really welcome and we can say for sure that the hospitality was phenomenal. So good that I almost felt guilty accepting such kindness. Thanks for the beach ball Mr King .. and the fresh carrots. Rudra is demolishing them both as I am writing this. Look forward to seeing you again. Ana, it was a pleasure hanging out with you and we are very much obliged for the time you and the children gave to Rudra.

This 1-bedroom nipa hut is the latest addition to our vacation house that sits on this vast 2,100-sqm property in Pagbilao, Quezon. Over the past year, we've hosted over 200 guests from more than 20 cities here and abroad. They say they love our place because it's just a walking distance from the port going to Quezon's white sand beaches. It's also close to the market, the bus and jeepney stops to Manila and Bicol provinces. Other Quezon's best tourist attractions are for you to explore.

  • Had a wonderful vacation in Luigene's Farm house. I had the opportunity to immerse myself with his family, local community and fellow travelers -- they were all nice and awesome people. The farm property lies within the port area, making it easier and accessible for us to explore Quezon's prime and pristine islands. Thus, the farm property alone is a tranquil and serene haven full of fruit-bearing trees and a fish pond. Lui made our entire trip effortless and smooth sailing through his guidance, constant communication and timely response. I would definitely recommend this to my family and friends.

  • Warm and hospitable hosts made up for the lack in amenities. Nice experience if you want to stay in a bahay kubo.

    Tina2017-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Lui was quick to respond on my messages. The property is managed by his family who are very helpful in attending to our needs. It is summer but the hut is surprisingly cool. The area is very relaxed and there are spaces where guests can sit around and enjoy the province lifestyle. We didn't get to visit Borawan cos of the high tide but there are more places to go in Pagbilao. The boatman brought us to Patayan Island (which we had all to ourselves) and a sandbar. I highly recommend this place if you wish to unplug and experience something new.

Caliraya Ecoville Recreation and Farm Resort is envisioned to be a premier agri-tourism center in Laguna wherein it promotes organic and aquaponic farming, farm-to-table lifestyle, integrated with amenities and activities that support relationship building and quality time with families and friends.
THE TENT Caliraya Ecoville is now offering tent accommodations which can be set-up in an area near the fish pond. The idea is to provide a choice of tents, depending on the number of occupants, with beddings and linens and basic outdoor furniture. The Bathroom is shared with other glamping guests.
Caliraya Ecoville Recreation and Farm Resort is blessed with fertile soil and good climate conditions that are conducive to productive farming. Currently, the resort is setting up the following farming platforms: Aquaponic Farm – Aquaponic Farming is a farming method that combines aquaculture (raising fish) and hydroponics (the soil-less growing of plants) that aims to grow fish and plants together in one integrated system. Solid fish waste is turned into vermicompost that also acts as food for the plants. Phase 1 of this endeavor is the development of a small greenhouse that houses four (4) IBC tanks. Each tank is growing a specific experimental plant: Insulin Plant, Jasmine Tea, Tomatoes and Strawberry. Likewise, each tank is growing 100-150 King Fisher finglerlings. This Aquaponic Greenhouse is set up bedside the restaurant building, where guests can visit and observe. Phase 2 is the establishment of a bigger aquaponic greenhouse, utilizing the old de-commissioned 200 sqm swimming pool of the resort, which can be divided into quadrants to grow different species of fish and plants for in-house and modest commercial use. Organic Farm – Organic Farming is a method of crop and livestock production that does not use pesticides, fertilizers, genetically modified organisms, antibiotics and growth hormones. Caliraya Ecoville is initially setting aside one (1) hectare for short cycle vegetable production and poultry broiler growing. After a year, Caliraya Ecoville intends to expand this to three (3) hectares or more, once the techniques and markets are established.

This traditional Filipino Nipa House was built in a 700 sq m lot covered with lush green grass and surrounded by fruit bearing trees. It includes a gazebo, an outdoor kitchen, a nipa hut and a spacious lawn for outdoors sports. It is nearby food establishments and convenient stores. Best of all, it is near small hotels that offers a tour to the famous Pagsanjan Falls.
This 700 square meter lot housed a traditional nipa house with two bedrooms with 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, an indoor and outdoor kitchens with basic cooking equipment and utensils, a gazebo and a 3 huts for outdoor eating, a grilling station, and a wide lawn for outdoor activities such as volleyball and badminton
Basically, the place has few neighbors and is surrounded by open space and fields.
  • Finding the place was very easy as the host Ms. Argie guided is as soon as we reached Pagsanjan. She was so thoughful and considerate that she provided personal item like slippers, instant coffee and even complete set of toilettries. We had the place all to ourselves, we even had fresh young coconuts and the kalamansi was free for picking too. Everything that you would need in a house at the province, for an entire weekend was provided, especially at the kitchen. The place is well-kept, benches and all the seats were clean. There was a sweet lovely smell too coming from the flowers of the suha tree just oitside the front door. Place is secure enough that you could go and enjoy the entire garden, or go outside to the corner store for stuff. The neighbor Ms. Veron was so kind too, she even picked fresh siling labuyo when told that we were cooking sinigang. Ayen's place, through Ms. Argie can proudly represent Pagsanjan's hospitality and kindness. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet time at a garden house in a province. The kubo could look so tiny from the outside but it's definitely a complete peaceful haven inside. We'll definitely be back! 👍🏻 Kudos to Ms. Argie. 👍🏻👍🏻😊

  • If you're looking for an authentic nipa hut experience then Argie's is the place! Simple, relaxed and secluded, just what we wanted. We're backpack campers so this qualifies as "Cadillac Camping," indoor plumbing, frig, electricity, a kitchen with running water, and a gas single-burner stove. No wifi, but we just hotspotted off our phones and binge-watched Major Crimes! Local wildlife was apparent, mozzies and geckos buzzing and clicking, but a little repellent and cheering on the geckos made the evenings comfortable. This is not your 5 star hotel, but a totally unique experience for those that want to immerse themselves in a distinctly Filipino cultural accommodation.

  • This place if perfect for travelers from the city. A feel of traditional house and nature. The house is near food establishments and is walking distance to public transport. Argie was so nice to answer all our queries and she even bought us to the jeepney station. The house is clean, simple and cozy. I really liked the room upstairs (four steps up). I woke up with lovely birds chirping and cow's moo in the morning. Something that I missed living in the city. The place is near beautiful waterfalls - Hulugan Falls and Pagsanjan Falls which offered exciting experience which both my foreign friends enjoyed so much! Highly recommended place for a quick weekend getaway! 👌👍👍

  • Argie was the best host I ever experience. Smooth check in/out. Good guidance . Very active in response and helping .about the house I really love it . That exactly what I wished . Near for night live band with alot choice of restaurants . The most restaurant I like with delicious food name E-Yens kitchen . Just ask Argie about it .she will guide u. About the neighbourhood .the way they r sweet and kind I felt am between my family my best regard for all of you Argie, Rossel,Veronica and bogi Marvin . • We had a great time. The place is comfy and clean. Nice place to unplug and enjoy time with family/friends.

    Cristina2018-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is a cute and very functional bahay kubo or native Filipino house nestled in a little garden orchard of calamansi (Philippine lemon), guyabano (soursop), and mango trees. The sleeping quarters are more than adequate for a couple in a small bedroom and two children in a cozy loft room above. The kitchen is well-equipped for an overnight stay and the dining / sala has enough space to eat and relax afterwards. The hostess is helpful and friendly. She even met us at a nearby mall to accompany us to the place. Although it is summer the electric fans were more than adequate to keep us cool and comfortable even without aircon.

    Juliet2018-04-16T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was homely and comfortable. Will definitely come back when dropping by Pagsanjan again. Argie was lovely and goes out of her way to help us find our way around the place .

Private pool. Jacuzzi. Landscaped garden. Big spaces. Quiet area. Gated subdivision. AC in all rooms. Shower heater in 2/3 showers. Contact us for details!
You can't get more nature than this. Big rooms, sala and ding room, big balcony, patio, pool, jacuzzi. VERY big, landscaped, garden with forrest on boths sides. Direct access to lake Caliraya from lot.
The area is filled with a multitude of different activities to do - watersports, fishing, trekking, beautiful falls, hanging out by the pool, golfing, teambuilding. All within a short walk/drive. (That's what makes Caliraya so great!). We do recommend to read/search to find what you are most interested in!
  • Very hospitable and accomodating staffs.

  • Frederick’s place was in a nice and quite location. The rooms were spacious with extra floor mattresses to accommodate us all. We particularly enjoyed being able to rent the karaoke for an extra dose of shameless fun.

    Cherie2018-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • I appreciate the immediate response of the hosts and even the caretakers. Communication is clear, house is clean and very homey

    Maria Oliza2017-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • Villa Ippa is the perfect place for enjoying a few days with family and/or friends. Before the stay, Frederik replies any question or inquiry very fast. During the stay, Ate Len and the other care taker are always available and very helpful. Our group had much fun visiting the Cavinti falls: a real adventure! The only very disappointing point is the "Caliraya Resort" nearby: the entry only is very expensive (2,400p per head) and doesn't include any quality ride. Every ride costs between 200 and 500p per head and per ride! For enjoying a funny day there, you'll have to pay at least 5,000p per head!! That is totally abusing for such a resort.

    Axel2017-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at Villa Ippa. It has a very nice view of Caliraya Lake, the kind of view you would want to wake up to. We have the whole place to ourselves, the house is huge that it can easily accommodate 25 pax, we are only 10 in the group so the house was very spacious for us. There are 4 rooms, but only the master bedroom have AC, but it's okay as the place is very cool especially at night - you will not need an AC. The kitchen is fully equipped, no need to bring any utensils or cooking wares. There is also free filtered water. The caretakers are very accommodating which made our stay comfortable.

    Jhae2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • The location with the view of the lake is great. The gardens are well kept and the pool is always kept clean. The caretakers are very helpful and available all the time. They helped arrange a boat tour for the family. Not all places in Caliraya has a pool so this was a great addition. The large dining table by the pool is also very convenient and ideal for big groups. Would love to stay in this place again.

    Suzette2018-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • A very private and relaxing villa with a picturesque view of the Caliraya Lake, more than big enough to accommodate my family. We all had so much fun! Fredrik and Gliezlle were very attentive when contacted. Their property caretakers, Ate Len and Ate Loida, were also very hospitable. Highly recommended! 👍🏼👍🏼

    Paul2017-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great location- literally you can access the lake from the house. Beautiful garden to relax in. The house could do with a bit more maintenance. Internet is very weak so don’t expect to get work done or access any webpage.

Our 2-bedroom bamboo hut is the latest addition to our vacation house that sits on this vast 2,100-sqm property in Pagbilao, Quezon.
It's pretty accessible: it's just a few meters away from the port where you ride the boat to the famous white sand beaches of Pagbilao and Padre Burgos, Quezon. Near the market, church, restaurants and public transport.
  • Great place! Great people! Great ambience! All are excellent!! Very hospitable nanay kuya ariel and luigene :) 10 stars!!!

    Nelle2017-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay here. Our group really wanted to stay ni a "province-kubo-like" place. Nanay was really accomodating. She even let us cook in her kitchen. It feels like we're with our own lola. The host, Luigene, also made sure we had the right direction to their place. All in all it was a great experience! I wish we could've stayed longer.

    Victoria2017-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay here, even in the heat of May we were able to sleep well in the two bedroom apartment. This is a good base to visit the surrounding region!

    Dylan2018-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • Reality exceeded our expectations. The real thing is better than its pictures. If you want to experience "Bukid" or farm life without the hassle, this is the place to be. Just beware of frogs and "bukid' insects as well. Suggest to bring mosquito repellent if you're sensitive to this. If not, there are a number of electric fans inside the house to shoo those mosquitoes away. The host's family is also kind enough to make sure that our needs are well taken care of :) Read my review or experience about this place here: (Website hidden by Airbnb)

  • We've had a preat stay in Pagbilao thanks to the nice stay in the nipahut. Very friendly people, helpful and great communication. We would recommend your stay here for sure!

    Roan2017-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • Luigene's place is perfect for a relaxing getaway be it with friends or family. My family loved everything from the big kubo (with its own bathroom), to the pond, fruit-bearing trees, the breeze and most especially the warm welcome from his family. We even caught fish, saw a firefly and made a bonfire where the family cooked hotdogs and mallows and had a heart to heart talk after. We cooked delicious meals in their open kitchen while chatting with his grandma. They were very generous and kind. We felt really at home and instantly wanted to come back. Their place was only a 5-minute walk to the port and a short boat ride away from Pagbilao attractions - Puting buhangin/Kwebang Lampas, Borawan, Dampalitan and Biliran Sandbar. The best part of the trip was the hassle free planning from directions, island hopping contact and tips and even where to buy reasonably priced shellfish. Thanks to superhost Lui! I would no doubt recommend the place to relatives, colleagues and friends.

  • Amazing place!

    Ross2018-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • It was my fist time staying in a Kubo, "nipa hut" and I was surprised how cool it was staying there. It is hot in the Philippines however with just a fan and the bamboo structure it keeps you very very comfortable. What surprised us the most is the bathroom, very modern and the water pressure and temp was great. We had a chance to speak to Lola and Lolo. Well my wife and her family did as I don't speak Tagalog. But still there is no language barriers when it comes to people who are welcoming and accommodating. What ever you need just ask lola and she will deliver. The location is very close to a pier in which you can rent a boat and go island hopping. Also they helped us get a great deal on a big boat for our adventures.

The cozy cabana embraced by plants and trees, undisturbed by noise for that much sought peace and quiet, cooled by the breeze and temperature 1000 ft above sea level offers a very welcome respite from hectic urban life. Lucban has it's unique cool wet climate. Dry season is only 2 to 3 months in a year. It's a safe , quiet town where crime is almost unheard of. One can roam the streets at all hours feeling safe. People are friendly and hospitable. Tha cabaña and mainhouse are in a 2.8ha farm.
The cabaña is situated within a 2.8ha resthouse/farm. There is a mainhouse across a koi pond and the caretaker's house at the opposite end of the property. Neighbors are present beside and down the feeder road but whose roofs won't be visible. It's remoteness offers solitude and tranquility.
The property was chosen as it's location afforded me the serenity I was searching for - far from the madding crowd. The cool climate took away the stress of heat. It really is countryside living, quiet and peaceful. No noise, environmental pollution nor fear for safety. The plants thrive in this climate as they are blessed with nourishing rain. I've tried to plant interesting specimens throughout the farm but failed with dry loving ones. A plant in bloom or tree with fruit never fails to delight me.
  • The best place to relax. We had a great time. The place is very serene and cozy. We love the flowers in bloom and the view from our porch was very relaxing. Angela is very prompt and patient answering my queries and the caretakers were very helpful and accommodating. We will definely be back and we will recommend it to friends.

  • This place was exactly what I was looking for. Off the beaten track, surrounded only by the melodies of nature. Close enough to the town center to be able to visit the pertinent POIs but far enough to be able to retreat from the cacophony afterwards.

    James2017-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Guys, if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, we found a right place for you. Fresh and cold air, quiet and relaxing place surrounded only by the melodies of nature. Close enough to the town center but far enough from its noise. Upon checking in, you will be welcomed by accommodating caretakers (Nanay Lita and Tatay Pido and Mia their daughter). They will treat you not as a guest but a family. They will address all your needs even if you don't ask for it. A one night stay is not enough, you will even wish you could stay longer.

  • Our stay at Angela's beautiful vacation home was absolutely worth every penny. It's the prefect hideaway from the city life. Things we loved: 1. We stayed in our very own guest house complete with towels, toiletries, and a nice hammock across her Koi pond. 2.It was never hot and the air was always fresh. 3. We were offered home grown fresh buko juice, cold water and a delicious snack each throughout our stay. 4. The entire garden is scattered with beautiful flowers and greenery. 5. For a reasonable fee, we were served a nice local breakfast (Lucban Longanisa, salted egg, fried rice and grilled fish) 6. The place was not that far from the city proper, Kamay ni Jesus, and Hulugan Falls. 7. We never doubted our security. 8. My girlfriend and I truly enjoyed spending time with Angela over breakfast. She is very smart, kind and hilarious!

    Joaquin Federico2017-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • We spent a great and quite weekend at this place. The room that we rented, which is detached from the main house, is lovely and very comfortable. It has its own patio where we spent a lot of time playing the guitar, make small talks and drink coffee while enjoying the gentle cool breeze. There is a certain charm that just lures you in and makes you want to stay a bit longer. Everything about the place is perfect. We’ll definitely come back to this place. Salamat Doc!

  • Kat’s place is awesome. Beautiful and near to the town center.

    John Kriscel2018-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • As described, totally agree with all the positive reviews. Got that Kapamilya feel. My kids totally enjoyed and settled in the house. We stayed longer than we planned and needed a fridge. Unfortunately the one in the house wasn't working so told Kat and Vangie. Presto! The next afternoon the fridge was delivered. All in all the experience was excellent, totally recommend it. Thank you again to Kat, Vangie, Henrie and Jay.

    Myllen2018-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Kat was a great communicator and host. The caretakers were excellent. We were hot and tired when we arrived and the caretakers had already pre-cooled the rooms by turning on the AC. The place was spotless and there were nice touches like fresh towels on the bed and tooth paste, tooth brush, soap and in the bathroom there was body wash and shampoo. I will surely stay again soon.

    David2018-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Ms. Kat keeps her word. She says and posts what you will expect and she delivers. Prior to the actual stay, she advised that there was no air con in the 2nd room and the stove was not advised to be used. But she promised that she will provide those 2 appliances by the time we will stay in her home. And she really did provide new things. Plus! Our rooms were so comfy. The bed was so relaxing and she even provided us with all the toiletries a hotel would provide. The house was beyond our expectations. Very highly recommended host! ;)

    Pam2018-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Kat 's place is so beautiful. I love the rooftop. It's best for barkada or family who wants to chill for a drink with a good sky view. The place is so clean also. We'll Definitely get her place again if we visit pagsanjan.

    Lea Niigata2018-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • Actually this is the first time I personally used an airbnb in our country and am so glad it did not disappoint me at all. Kat’s place is a standout in this residential area, neat n modern exteriors and cozy interiors. Although garage is short for our SUV, a car can fit in well and there’s street parking too. The vast terrace is so inviting so do allow time during sunset n early morning for appreciation of the greeneries and township. Location is so ideal, close to several restaurants, my favorite is still Lola Taleng. Little touches like toiletries, hot n cold drinking water, coffee, big soft pillows can really work wonders. Keep up the good maintenance of the place and people will surely come back. Thank you, Kat.

  • Great and clean place

    Avelina2017-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • We're canceled our trip one day before our actual check out date because of the following reasons: *The host is charging us extra payment for additional guests despite the fact that his ad says 'no extra charge' for additional people. *The host even asked us to leave in the middle of the night when we declined to pay. *Limited water supply-The host's overseer turns off the water supply at night. This was not explained to us beforehand. *There were flies everywhere inside the house. *Terribly noisy neighborhood. There were so many drunk teens walking around the neighborhood during our stay. *The bathroom gets flooded everytime we turn on the faucet. *The house only had one bathroom. The listing advertised two. *The overseer doesn't want us to use two rooms. We had to call the host and convince him that his listing is supposed to allow us to use two rooms because that's what's shown in the ad. *The host demanded that we all give him all the names of the individuals in our group. We felt harrassed and bullied by the host. Overall, this is a pretty traumatic and scarring experience to me and my family. The host seems to be ill equipped in the hospitality business and he made our entire stay miserable.

It's a Mediterranean inspired home and the Resort is exclusive to only a few home owner's who are mostly out of the country or foreigners. It's a very peaceful and quiet place with 24-hr security wherein you could just relax and enjoy the scenery. There are also nearby islands/beaches you could explore.
It's also a great place to celebrate birthdays, family reunions, outings, etc.
If you like to experience serenity this is the best place to go away from the busy city life. Due to exclusivity, even during peak season this place is not crowded because only members and an invitation from a home owner can grant you access in this Residential Country Club and Resort.
  • We truly enjoyed our stay at Rowel's place. You are free to enjoy the place as you please (With respect to AirBnb policies). You can make noise without any neighbors that will complain and explore the resort. In addition to the place, Rowel is easily contactable and will help you with all of your concerns to make your stay worth while. Here are the things that you have to take note. 1. The house is inside a resort. You can go and enjoy the resort amenities for an additional P550/person fee (the fee is also consumable for food and drinks inside the resort). 2. The karaoke machine is not attached to the house. There is an additional P700 fee that you will have to arrange with Rowel. 3. The resort is somewhat subpar. The beach is nice. However, the swimming pools are hazardous. You can swim in it but at your own risk. We enjoyed our night swim there but sustained cuts from the sharp tiles. 4. You can opt to have an assembled pool in the house. We didn't since we only planned to drink and roll over when we're done exploring the resort. 5. There are three bedrooms that can fit 3 people each. 6. The living room and roof deck are spacious. Overall, me and my friends enjoyed our stay and will probably come back if we ever end up in Quezon.

  • The place is really relaxing since the beach is closeby, we could feel the fresh breeze from the ocean, the place has their own resort which has 2 pools, water sports and you could also do island hopping which we didn't do since the weather during our stay wasn't coordinating with us as for the host, Mr. Veroy is concered about how our stay is and asks if there is anything he can do for us which is a big plus being a host, even though he wasn't there to welcome us, his caretaker was very welcoming and accomodating, they both immediately respond to texts and calls if we have questions. overall it was a great stay, no regrets and we have karaoke which we love to do, and we recommend this place if you want to take a vacation away from the city, if you want peace and pure relaxation. The host is a very accomodating person as well as his caretaker.

    Rhoebe Lynn2018-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Host was great in responding to inquiries and helpful with scheduling so we are thankful for his accessibility with communication. However, we were disappointed with a couple of issues in the house which the host apologized for. Be aware that only the bedrooms have A/C so the main living areas can be very uncomfortable during the summer! We cut our stay short and only stayed for one night instead of four for various issues(bathrooms, main bedroom, kitchen, a/c units, bugs, intense heat in main living areas due to lack of air circulation). The house has tremendous potential but needs a lot more updating and care.

Casa Junto Al Lago is the name of our vacation house. It means, house by the lake, true to its name it was situated in the middle of the Lumot Lake. It is located in the perfect highlands of Cavinti, Laguna. An impressive place of relaxation that exhibits the finest nature can offer. It will truly give you and your family or friends an invigorating vacation beyond your expectation. It is nearby the famous Cavinti Falls, Japanese Garden and other high end resorts.
It's our decision to make our Casa retain its simplicity and rural feel. As you arrived in our place, you will immediately feel the "provincial like ambiance." Our kubo has two rooms, double walled by a native sleeping mat, called, "banig", our dining hall and the comfort room outside were made of bamboo and anahaw. The island has no electricity, but we have a generator and lights will start at 6pm till midnight. The water in the island is not potable, it is only good for washing and bathing. So guest should bring their own drinking water.
Our place has this lovable pristine feel that forces you to ease and loosen up. Just being here allows you to drop all the negatives in your life. Our island may not be as large as you imagine it to be, but here still a lot of spaces fro you to roam around.
  • Julieta's casa is what is described on the listing and shown at the photos. We enjoyed our stay and wanting to come back soon :)

    Jonas2018-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • My 30th birthday was perfect. Ms Julieta was very accomodating, the place was amazing and we had a funtastic experience also with the help of Mam Mayet.

    Khey2018-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • It's our 3rd time in Cavinti but 1st time in this island. The island did not disappoint us, it is so serene and simple, fresh cold air from day till night. We love the dining area and the hammocks (5 so everyone gets a chance to take a nap). Complete cooking facilities/utensils, tents, chairs, bed/mattresses, pillows, blankets and life vests. Thank you to ate mayet and her husband for assisting us. We will be back!

    Bernadette2018-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • This is not a reality vs expectations. What ever you see in the pictures are all true. The tent, the scenery, the entire kubo (except the kayak - we just borrowed/rent it from the neighboring cottage. As well as the fresh catch fish. We bought it from the local harvesters of tilapia, with the help of Ate Mayet. 😂) and hammock. If you would really aiming for a life of serenity. This is the best place to stay. Ate Oyet was very accommodating and always been checking us and never failed to immediately respond for cases of emergency. Same as Ate Mayet who took very much care for us. Thank you for the wonderful vacation experience. We will surely go back.

Rhett would answer my queries even from outside the country. And the service at the resort was really very personal with all staff super friendly specially Kuya DanReb. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The food was very good and servings generous. AND THE BEACH WAS TOP NOTCH. Its one of the cleanest if not THE cleanest beach ive ever been to. I was seriously impressed. I love that the whole commmunity takes part in ensuring the preservation of their area. I will surely go back with my whole family and friends. Two thumbs up and 10 stars!

The main house is enclosed by glass on three sides giving a sense of being outside surrounded by and a koi pond. A living room, dining and kitchen are on an open floor plan. A sleeping loft on the mezzanine has 4 queen beds and 1 full bed.
Far away from the madding crowd the place is a welcome respite to grab the elusive peace and quiet. The farm is situated within 2.8ha, filled with a wide assortment of plants. Neighbors are beside and beyond the property but are not seen nor often heard. This gives the sense of remoteness that is welcome to most but intimidating to some. The occasional tricycle may be heard as neighbors travel the feeder road. The cell phone signal is poor and spotty. It is however strong near the cabaña. You may find other spots where you can get a strong signal.
There are no noisy neighbors around. Birds chirping throughout the day and the crickets creating a symphony at night are mostly the sounds that are in sensurround mode. Lucban is a very safe place to live in and visit. There is hardly any crime, which commonly is theft on the streets during the Pahiyas when out-of-towner pickpockets are brought in. People are friendly and hospitable. Low stress living leads to minimal anxiety, agitation and frustration. This results in an environment that fosters camaraderie and bayanihan, which is very much alive during the planting and harvesting seasons.
  • If I go back to Lucban this is one of the places I'll consider again. Although it's not in the town proper it's close enough. There's a lot of space and we truly experienced some peace and quiet while looking at the trees and beautiful flowers.

    Pauline2017-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • The rental rate was very reasonable for a party of 11. We love the serenity and the ambiance of the place. We love having a party in a private & secluded place amid plants & trees & this place was just right for us. There is hot water running in the shower room. We like the dinner & breakfast food, especially the pako salad. There is no wifi available maybe because it is on a higher elevation & in the middle of a wooded & green land.

  • Spacious house with a very relaxing nature surrounding. Angela was a very great host and her caretakers were really thoughtful and nice. If you're looking for a getaway place with a cool Baguio like weather, this is a great place to go to.

  • Our family spent the Holy Week break at Angela's place. The house was very nice and had a spacious dining area. The kitchen was fully equipped with what you would need. The weather was cool. Beds were very comfortable, provided with blankets and towels. Caretakers Lita and Pido were very friendly. It is the perfect place to getaway from the crowds and for family bonding. Thank you Angela for sharing your very nice home in Lucban.

  • The place is perfect for those looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of the Metro Manila. Quiet and clean place with beautiful green surroundings and very accomodating care takers. The owner was very helpful. She replied very fast and gave us the map going to the house making sure that we won't get lost. She gave suggestions and itenerary of where to eat, have stop overs and where to buy pasalubong which was very helpful since it was our first time in Lucban. Overall, it was an excellent stay. Thank you! :)

  • Angela’s place is indeed a beautiful home tucked in the middle of such amazing greenery. First of all, Angela accepted our booking on such short notice and I am truly grateful for that. The drive was long and we got lost and it was because I did not pay attention to the directions she provided. Her place is located a few minutes drive from the town proper. Her place is beautiful. A colorful fusion of a native Filipino home and a Mediterranean accent. Open space for easy mingling and great cross ventilation. The bathrooms, bedroom, kitchen and everything around it was clean and that was really pleasant. There is limited internet connection in the area, it paved way for undivided attention for family time. Ate Bing was very helpful and engaging too. Thank you Angela for allowing us to share precious family time in your home. We will come back with our videoke! :)

My place is close to a pile of fun adventure for EVERYONE such as resorts, famous must see waterfalls, mountain climbing, hiking or camping at Mt. Banahao, some must try restaurants in and out of Liliw and of course don't forget the remarkable Gat Tayaw street which is famous for its slippers, sandals, shoes and more for you and your loved ones! You’ll love my place because of the view, the nature and the fresh, crisp air. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).
  • The appartment is almost complete. For long stayers a fridge would be highly recommended, just a table top fridge. This would improve the storage facility of food a lot.

    Schoombie2017-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • My sister and I need a place to stay in Liliw before continuing our Laguna exploration. Deiter and Desiree's place is just wonderful. We felt safe as 2 female travelers. Premises is secure, easy to find (the hosts are well known in the neighboorhood), and clean. Desiree prepared us breakfast and even walk us to the jeepney stop. She even send us messages asking of our location amd safety, if we get to our destination safe. Deiter and Desiree's recommendation to see Hulugan Falls that led to hiking up Hidden Falls and Talay Falls in San Salvador, Luisiana changes our itinerary for better. We even went and add one more adventure by seeing and soaking in Aliw Falls. Another pro is the open rooftop, wake up before the sunrise and climb there and wait for the first beams of the morning - wonderful. You wont regret your stay in this place.

  • Mr. and Mrs. Struss were nice hosts. They gave tips on better resorts to visit. They even prepared breakfast for us. The room is like a condo, furnished with basic things you'll find in a house. Quiet environment. Looking forward to visiting your place again.

    Shirley2017-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures are very humble of the place they offer, as they say, its much better up close. The place has its own kitchen, bathroom, dining area and the bed area with nice ventilation from their garden. The place was clean and cozy and the hosts were very accommodating with our queries for our itinerary and gave tips. There are a lot of place near their area that you can explore including mount Banahaw and many pristine waterfalls which are very accessible. It was indeed a nice experience and it would be happy for me to warrant the comfort you will soon experience.

    Maevel2016-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • The weather for my trip into Liliw was not conducive to hiking the falls, which was my main reason for heading this way. Overall, you get exactly what the Host says you'll get. You won't be floored by the value for money, but it's in a beautiful area, should the whether permit you to get out to see it.

    Aaron2017-01-30T00:00:00Z

  • Nice place. We enjoyed our stay. Tita Yolly the care-taker was very accomodating and helpful. A couple of meters away from the beach. Near the fishport as well. Will go back should we need a place to stay in Infanta. No Globe signal. Suggest to bring extra Smart SIM.

  • The place was great for our purposes. Our group of 9 people went there to join a bike race and we just really needed a place to stay the night before the race. Ma'am Kate was really accommodating and their caretaker even prepared us biko (rice cake) as a welcome present. The only issue we had was the electricity, it was fluctuating and the airconditioning couldnt cope with it to lower the temperature in the two rooms. They told us that it should be fixed in the next 2 months as they're getting a dedicated electricity line. If ever we should return i wont hesitate to contact them again for a place to stay.

  • This was a great place to stay. Close to many malls, secure taxi service, very helpful employees in the lobby. It also has a supermarket across the street and lots of places to eat. The unit itself was big enough for 2, comfortable bed couch and also has all the amenities that you need.

  • This has been the perfect unit for my extended stay here in the Philippines. It has easily become my 2nd home away from home. You really can't beat the location, building and amenities... Not to mention the amazing views. Blessie and her husband are super communicative and respond to any questions ASAP. I'll most likely be booking again when I return in a couple months!

  • Thank you for letting us stay in your Makati condo! You were a very thoughtful host and we appreciate your kind gesture. The amenities were great and the location was convenient going to various places, particularly the grocery and church areas. A bit more light will brighten the room and the mood of the place. Till next time!

  • My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Gramercy Residences. The reception area, elevator and outside garden were simply beautiful. Blessie's condo was just the right size, and included all the essentials and ammenities you would need. It even had a balcony with a view to the supermarket and restaurants located just across the street. The amenities at The Gramercy are amazing. We had a chance to check out the gym which had the basics you would need for a simple workout session and the pool deck had stunning views of the city. We had the chance to experience New Year's Eve fireworks from the pool deck viewing area and the skyline at night was simply breathtaking. We would definitely book The Gramercy Residences again especially if we had a chance to come back for New Years. Blessie and Janet (her caretaker for the condo) were an absolute pleasure to deal with. All our questions and requests were promptly handled. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Blessie's condo to anyone.

  • This is a very nice property. Extremely well maintained, in a lovely peaceful estate overlooking rice fields. Hosts are lovely and welcoming. A couple of factors to be aware of though are, no WiFi and no television. Minor, but worth noting. The Estate is quiet, with a swimming pool, tennis court and basketball court for outdoor recreation. The property also has a nice undercover area where you can sit and enjoy the breezes. Estate is close to Pacific Mall, for grocery shopping supplies and takeaway food. Great place to stay, especially if you are after some comfort for longer term.

  • - Angenehmer Kontakt mit Besitzer - Lokale Betreuung zum Teil mangelhaft - guter Standort, ruhige Lage - kurze Wege zu den Einkaufsläden - saubere Unterkunft
