Join me, a local curator and writer, on a walking tour through the city’s contemporary art scene. Together, we’ll head off the beaten path to cutting-edge galleries, getting to know the established and emerging artists who are shaping them. • We’ll begin in Porta Venezia, an area often overlooked by tourists, where we’ll visit some of my favorite galleries tucked away in historic buildings. • We’ll head toward the Città Studi district to visit the renowned Raffaella Cortese gallery. Along the way, I’ll offer my takes on the city’s contemporary art world, talking through its diverse mix of exhibitions. • Our walking tour will wrap up with a well-deserved aperitivo, giving us the chance to reflect on the day and chat about our favorite pieces. By the time we part, you’ll have your finger on the pulse of Milan’s artistic scene, and more than enough inspiration to keep exploring more of the city’s cultural treasures.

I’ll show you how to look for hidden details cherished by locals. You’ll leave with an eye for typographic details and the stories they represent, as well as a card featuring a lettering composition inspired by the designs we’ve seen.

Set off in a small group from Zagreb and enjoy a scenic drive through the beautiful Slovenian & Croatian countryside. Our licensed driver guide will get you familiar with the itinerary for the day, as well as information about the sites you are visiting and the general history of Slovenia. Approximately one hour into the drive, we will reach our first destination, Slovenia’s Capital Ljubljana. Ljubljana is one of the smallest EU Capitals also known as a city with a green soul winner of Green Capital awards in 2016. Your guide will take you for approx. 40 min orientational walking tour followed by 2 h free time for you to wander around on your own. About half an hour driving from Ljubljana we will reach Lake Bled known as the image of paradise, a tourist hub on the edge of the Triglav National Park – nominated as one of the seven new wonders of the world. There is so much to do at Bled, especially during the tourist season (April to October). It is impossible to see and experience everything in one afternoon, this is why your guide will help you organize time according to your preferences. Go for a swim at the lake, ride a bicycle, sail on traditional Pletna boat to the Bled Island, explore the Bled castle or just simply go for a stroll. It runs along the 5 villages from Manarola towards Monterosso. Arriving at Guvano beach, behind Corniglia, we stop for the first swim break; with snorkeling equipment you can admire the clear waters and the local fish. It starts again with a panoramic view of the coast and all the various types of sedimentary rocks, explanations on the paths and the type of wine produced, another swim stop after the view of the seaside village of Vernazza to then reach the last of the 5 lands, Monterosso. After the view of the village and the beaches, the route is reversed to return to Riomaggiore, another swim stop one mile from the coast, drinking good prosecco, waiting for the sunset to then return to Manarola

We will explore some of the greats of Ljubljana's, history, architecture, monuments and sail through the beautiful scenic canal of the river Ljubljanica. We will sail with a beautiful licensed boat of Ljubljana (official boat) which is spacious enough to feel comfortable and safe. The boat is open which will give you the true feeling of being one with the river and its beautiful surroundings, but it can be closed with panoramic windows as it can be cold or a bit rainy this time of year. Blankets are there to keep you comfy and they serve wine, beer, soft drinks, tea, and coffee to keep the inner you warm. For the other part of the tour, we'll walk through the beautiful Baroque old town, Art-Nouveau new town, Town Hall, Dragon Bridge, Farmers Market, and of course experience life of the local people.
