Together, we’ll head off the beaten path to cutting-edge galleries, getting to know the established and emerging artists who are shaping them. • We’ll begin in Porta Venezia, an area often overlooked by tourists, where we’ll visit some of my favorite galleries tucked away in historic buildings. • We’ll head toward the Città Studi district to visit the renowned Raffaella Cortese gallery. Along the way, I’ll offer my takes on the city’s contemporary art world, talking through its diverse mix of exhibitions. • Our walking tour will wrap up with a well-deserved aperitivo, giving us the chance to reflect on the day and chat about our favorite pieces. Explore Venice’s vintage hand-lettered signs and typographical history on a walk with a calligrapher and graphic designer, learning about a rich local tradition that dates back to figures like the 15th-century printer Aldus Manutius. • I’ll guide you to some of the city’s most enduring businesses, each displaying a hand-decorated sign infused with its own history. • See the names of delicatessens, cafes, and cocktail bars beautifully rendered in wood, wrought iron, and reverse-painted glass, and hear about the craftsmen behind the work. • At each stop, discuss the sign’s typographic style, techniques, and materials. I’ll show you how to look for hidden details cherished by locals. You’ll leave with an eye for typographic details and the stories they represent, as well as a card featuring a lettering composition inspired by the designs we’ve seen.

Join me for an unforgettable journey through the picturesque Chianti Hills, driving a vintage Spider—an icon of Italian elegance made famous by Dustin Hoffman in The Graduate. E-bike the hills of Montello

Cruise on an e-bike through the scenic Montello hills, once the lifeblood of Venice’s shipyards, now a land of rolling vineyards and fine Prosecco. We’ll pedal along forested trails and sunlit slopes, embracing the region’s rich nature. • I’ll welcome you at our restaurant, equip you with a properly sized e-bike and helmet, and help you get comfortable with both. A headset may be provided for communication during our ride. • Ride along scenic paths to past historic World War I sites, including the British Cemetery, and Prosecco vineyards before reconnecting with the path along the Piave River. When we arrive back at our starting point, we’ll share our reflections on our ride and take a group photo. By the end of our time together, you’ll leave with an enhanced sense of Montello’s beauty and history, and the Prosecco hills.

It runs along the 5 villages from Manarola towards Monterosso. Arriving at Guvano beach, behind Corniglia, we stop for the first swim break; with snorkeling equipment you can admire the clear waters and the local fish. It starts again with a panoramic view of the coast and all the various types of sedimentary rocks, explanations on the paths and the type of wine produced, another swim stop after the view of the seaside village of Vernazza to then reach the last of the 5 lands, Monterosso. After the view of the village and the beaches, the route is reversed to return to Riomaggiore, another swim stop one mile from the coast, drinking good prosecco, waiting for the sunset to then return to Manarola

Once we reach Monterosso, we will turn around and slowly head back to Riomaggiore. With the sun setting behind us, you will have the perfect view to capture magnificent photos. During the tour, you can sip on bubbles and enjoy homemade focaccia from the local baker, which is made fresh daily and is a must-try food while in the Cinque Terre. During the tour, you can also jump into the sea for a sunset dip. Take a deep breath and enjoy the paradise that surrounds you. Follow the quiet cycle path that was originally the old railway line connecting Lake Como to Lake Lugano. Pass the charming Lake Piano nature reserve; hidden Romanesque churches and tiny villages before arriving directly on the beach of Lake Lugano with expansive views across the water. Explore the old centre of Porlezza-the perfect spot for an ice-cream or aperitivo before starting the climb into the mountains. Ride a section of original medieval road and weave through quaint village squares untouched by tourism. Finish with a panoramic downhill ride with views across Lake Como. This experience showcases the beautifully diverse scenery of the area and shares fun anecdotes of real people's lives. DIFFICULTY: Expect an active, mini adventure of 28km with uphills, downhills, narrow village roads and some gravel sections. Athleticism, confidence and understanding of a geared bicycle are required. An e-bike is a normal bicycle including battery assistance for uphills. We meet at 08:00 am inside Milan Central station from where we either board the train (approx. 1-hour) or a minibus for the transfer to a charming village on the Lake Como. We enjoy a walk through the picturesque village (climbing some stairs as well). Afterwards we drive to Tirano through an Alpine valley with a possible stop by a winery, old cellar experience or a cafè! At the arrival free time for your lunch (on your own, average cost € 30 per person), climbing few stairs to reach the area, and then we board the Bernina train, on the Express railway, that really ascends the Swiss Alps with a stunning view! Once on top of the ride we get off to enjoy the panorama of alpine lakes, glaciers and the impressive Alps scenery! After the short drive to reach S.
